The Shadow of the Buddha: A Legend of Faith and Resilience

Emerging from the depths of the Rishi Cave, we encounter the revered "Phra Phuttha Chai Khao Ngu" (Buddha's Shadow on Khao Ngu). This sacred image, etched into the rock face, is a testament to the enduring faith and rich folklore of the local community. Legend has it that the Buddha himself graced this cave with his presence, leaving an indelible imprint of his silhouette. This enduring image, impervious to the passage of time, has become known as the "Phra Phuttha Chai Khao Ngu," a beacon of spiritual solace and a symbol of the unwavering belief that continues to inspire generations.

As we drive out to the front, as we originally intended, we are greeted by a large natural rock garden with a beautiful lake. This is Khao Ngu Stone Park, a popular tourist and recreational destination for Ratchaburi residents and tourists alike.

In addition to family and couples activities, there is also pedal boating.

A suspension bridge spanning a chasm, its reflection shimmering in the lake, creates a breathtaking scene.

After enjoying snacks, buying souvenirs, and taking photos at our leisure, we will head to the famous cave in Ratchaburi, "Khao Bin Cave".
