After meeting friends in the Chidlom area, it was almost time for dinner. We started to think about what to eat. My friend said she would think of something for us and suggested going down to the food court. This food court wasn't far away, it was just Eat Thai at Central Embassy, where we were already walking.

She thinks it's spacious and has plenty of seating, with many private corners for gossiping without disturbing others. Most importantly, it doesn't smell bad. So, she's in.

Upon entering the Thai market, you will receive a card with a cash value of 1,000 baht. This is not a gift; you will use this card to settle your purchases when you leave. Once you have your card, find a seat and everyone can order what they like to eat.

Chopped squid

After ordering our food, we waited at the table for the first dish, the ground squid, to arrive. The restaurant brings the dishes to the table as they are ready, so we munched on the squid while we waited for the rest of our meal.

Delicious Beef Noodle Soup - This long-standing establishment serves a reliable and flavorful broth that will warm your soul.

Grilled chicken in coconut milk - This is a southern Thai dish, actually called "Kai Gaeng Kua". It is best enjoyed with sticky rice or hot steamed rice.

Sweet Liver - This dish is exceptional, not tough, tender, and juicy with a complete range of flavors.

Spicy minced pork salad - Chewy and enjoyable. Come and have a taste.

Som Tum - A single word to describe it: "Nua"

Crispy oyster omelet - a delightful combination of crunchy texture and sweet and sour dipping sauce, generously filled with plump oysters.

Stir-fried crab with rice. Fresh, not fishy. The rice is cooked perfectly.

Spicy glass noodle salad with a refreshing, tangy flavor, followed by a hint of sweetness and a rich, creamy texture.

Mi khati - This dish is becoming increasingly difficult to find, but it is still quite delicious.

After a delicious meal, a lively chat, and a final cup of coffee, it's time to brave the traffic and head home.
