Confined to the Pattaya area, there is no shortage of things to do. Although it is a small city, one thing is for sure: you will never get bored here. Sightseeing, dining, shopping – these are just a few ways to describe this famous tourist destination.

Today, I'd like to share my experience with food in Pattaya. Last week, I was visiting Pattaya when a sudden downpour caught me off guard. As I was walking along the beach road, the rain started to come down heavily. Feeling hungry, I decided to find a place to eat and take shelter from the storm.

I glanced at the sign of Mr.99 Seafood & Steak Restaurant and immediately knew that they must serve seafood and steak. I stood in front of the restaurant for a moment, looking around, and a welcoming staff member smiled at me and invited me to look at the menu. With the sky darkening, I decided to go in and take a seat.

The restaurant boasts a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, reminiscent of a roadside eatery along the beach. While the decor is not particularly elaborate or luxurious, it offers a comfortable and inviting ambiance. The cheerful and helpful waitstaff readily recommend their signature dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Following your request, we ordered Chef's Fried Rice, Deep-Fried Pork Loin in Breadcrumbs with Chili Sauce, Pla in Chu Chi Curry with Mango Smoothie, and Beach Dream Cocktail.

Beach Dream's appearance is like a whole pineapple. The taste is delicious, not strong, not heavy, and the tongue is soft with a faint pineapple aroma. It's a pleasure to sip.

The next menu item is the chef's fried rice, served with half a pineapple. Doesn't it look delicious? The taste is also excellent. You get to eat squid, shrimp, and clams, with a hint of sweetness and sourness. This dish definitely gets a thumbs up.

Following closely behind is the stir-fried fish in red curry paste, generously drizzled with rich coconut milk. The initial burst of saltiness is followed by a pleasant sourness and a subtle sweetness, culminating in a perfectly balanced spiciness. The incredibly fresh fish practically melts in your mouth, making this dish an absolute must-try.

Ultimately, it's a deep-fried pork loin coated in flour and topped with chili sauce. The crispy exterior and tender interior create a harmonious flavor profile that complements the accompanying sauce. The tender pork melts in your mouth, making it a delightful and satisfying experience. It pairs perfectly with cocktails.

After a satisfying meal, we ordered a mixed fruit ice cream to top it off. I don't want to exaggerate, but everything we ordered was delicious, so we have to thank the rain for letting us enjoy such delicious food unexpectedly.

Another advantage is the restaurant's central location, making it easily accessible. For those who do not have their own transportation, there are shared taxis (songthaews) that pass by the restaurant. These songthaews also travel to Walking Street, with a fare of 10 baht per person. This allows customers to enjoy a meal and then continue their evening in Pattaya's nightlife district.

After finishing dinner, it was already dark. I took a walk to digest my food and took some beautiful pictures in front of the restaurant as a souvenir. After walking a little further, I arrived at Central.
