"When our hearts are filled with hope and determination, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. In addition to taking action, it is equally important to have a driving force that keeps our spirits high. This is the inspiration behind this trip. Here I Am #IAmHere in Chiang Mai, where I will be praying and seeking blessings."

We started our journey with Thai Airways from Bangkok to Chiang Mai early in the morning at 8:45 AM. We flew on the new Airbus A350 (which we booked at a great price of 1300 baht, including taxes, baggage, and meals). This time, we decided to experience Thai Airways' service.

The interior of the Airbus A350 is brand new and stunning. The lighting is particularly impressive, with dimmable settings that create a beautiful, vibrant, and comfortable atmosphere.

The seats are still new. The legroom is comfortable, and the seats are comfortable to sit in. There is also a new PTV screen that displays images very clearly (it is still new). There is entertainment to watch movies and listen to music. Even though it is a domestic flight, the size is good.

This unique perspective is captured by a tail-mounted camera, offering an unprecedented view of the flight path. The camera captures the mesmerizing sight of clouds drifting by, providing a bird's-eye view of the landscape below. It's an awe-inspiring experience, akin to soaring through the sky like a bird.

We enjoyed a delicious Calzone Sausage snack with cheese, served hot with tea, coffee, and orange juice. As usual, it was delicious. We will arrive in Chiang Mai soon.

Upon arriving in Chiang Mai, we picked up our rental car and headed straight to Wat Phra That Doi Kham to pay respects to Luang Pho Tan Jai, seeking blessings before embarking on our journey. This ancient temple, boasting a history of over 1300 years, is the revered abode of Luang Pho Tan Jai.

We arrived at Doi Dam Temple. We drove up the mountain, which was a bit steep. We arrived around 11 am. The sun was very strong and it was hot. It is recommended to bring a hat or umbrella with you.

Despite the strong sunlight, the sky looks beautiful in the photos. The first thing that catches your eye is a large and majestic Buddha statue. This statue is known as "Luang Pho Put Dai" (The Talking Buddha). Why is it called that?

"My child, do not blame me for not being beautiful or handsome.

I do not complain when it is hot,

I do not complain when it is cold,

I do not complain when it rains,

I do not complain when I am hungry,

I do not complain about the smoke from forest fires.

If you can do as I do, even a sixteenth of what I do, you will be able to live in this world happily."

After reading this, I realized! We stopped complaining immediately...oops.

We continue walking and hurry to pay respects to Luang Pho Tan Jai first with jasmine flowers. It can be seen that many people have brought hundreds and thousands of jasmine garlands to offer to the Buddha in front of him. We have learned that if anyone makes a wish to him and succeeds, they should bring 50 or more jasmine garlands to offer to him as a way of fulfilling their wish. Look at how much respect he has, judging from the number of jasmine flowers in front of him.

Doi Kham Temple is a beautiful Lanna-style pagoda that enshrines relics of the Lord Buddha.

This ancient ordination hall, dating back over 1300 years, houses the revered Phra Rod Luang, a large gilded sandstone Buddha statue, and the Phra Sam Mo.

At Wat Phra That Doi Kham, there is a viewpoint offering panoramic views of Chiang Mai city and the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek Park.

The next temple we will visit for peace of mind is Wat Umong Suan Phutthadham, located at the foot of Doi Suthep.

The temple is lush with trees, creating a cool and comfortable atmosphere. These trees were originally used by monks for their practice.

The temple is called Wat Umong because it has a tunnel that resembles a city wall. There are many openings that serve as entrances to the tunnel, and each opening is connected to the others. Originally, the tunnel housed Buddha statues and murals, which are now faded.

Let's try walking up to the top of the tunnel, which will be the Naga stairs. You will find an old pagoda, where the air is very good. The wind blows gently and it is cool. You can come here to relax, calm your mind and heart, and walk in meditation.

In Chiang Mai, there are many types of attractions to suit your preferences. For example, we chose to visit peaceful places, worship Buddha, and make merit. We will review more next time. Please follow us in video format below: 👇👇👇
