"Le Kwa Daeng," which translates to "mountain view" in the Pga K'nyau language, is the highest peak in this mountain range. Despite its small size, it houses a pagoda and offers stunning 360-degree views. The mountain range is characterized by its fertile land and lush forests, creating a dense and soft sea of mist, especially when temperatures range between 16-20 degrees Celsius. However, during extremely cold weather, the sea of mist disappears.

Two Days and One Night with Le Kwa Daeng, the Mountain of Faith in Tak Province.

We departed from Bangkok at approximately 8:30 PM.

Upon arriving in Tak Province, we stopped by the market to purchase ingredients for our meals. This included breakfast and lunch, which we planned to enjoy during our hike.

To reach Mae Moei National Park, pay the park entrance fee and wait for the guides to pick you up at the park. They will be driving a pickup truck, as vans cannot reach the destination. Once you meet them, you will continue to the starting point of the hike. The trail is quite steep, so be sure to prepare yourself well.

After approximately 2.45 hours of walking, you will reach the campsite. The trail is located in a valley with no wind, making the weather quite hot. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and sugary snacks to consume during the hike, as they will be very helpful.

::. After that, we took a break for lunch and prepared to go up to the top. The path was quite small and steep, so we had to be careful when walking. Along the way, the view was amazing. When we reached the top, we paid our respects to the Buddha statue, took photos, and then prepared to go down. Try to time it well, because if it gets dark, it will be difficult to walk because the sides are scary. 5555

Upon returning to our accommodation, we prepared a meal and enjoyed a relaxing evening of conversation and exchanging ideas. As night fell, the sky became adorned with a multitude of stars, including the Milky Way, which was clearly visible to the naked eye. It was the most breathtaking celestial display we had ever witnessed.

Alcohol is prohibited here as the local community holds this area in high regard.

Waking up to another day, we set out to admire the view from the ridge. OMG!! It was incredible, truly incredible. We encountered a dense sea of fog, the most beautiful we had ever seen. The scenery was truly breathtaking, offering a 360-degree panoramic view.

After taking pictures and enjoying the view, we had breakfast, packed our belongings, and prepared to descend. The descent took approximately 1.45-2 hours. Upon reaching the bottom, a car was waiting to pick us up and take us to Mae Mae National Park. We showered at the park and then prepared for our return trip. We should arrive in Bangkok before nightfall, depending on the time we leave the park.
