Every time I travel, the "place to stay" is as important as the destination itself, because it's where we spend most of our time. Having a comfortable, peaceful, and private accommodation can really help us recharge and revitalize. For our recent trip to Kanchanaburi, we chose to stay at "Mida Resort Kanchanaburi".

"Mida Resort Kanchanaburi" is located in the city center, but it is more like a suburb. Since we didn't have a car, we took a van from Bangkok to Lad Ya and got off at Ban Lad Ya. Then we called the hotel to pick us up. This service is free for both pick-up and drop-off. It was amazing!

Upon entering the resort, the lush greenery and towering trees lining the driveway immediately create a sense of tranquility. After a smooth check-in process, a golf cart whisks guests away to their accommodations.

The three-story building lacks an elevator, providing an opportunity for exercise by climbing the stairs. We opted for the "Deluxe Room," which boasts a spacious interior despite featuring a double bed. The bed itself is comfortably wide, ensuring a restful sleep. The room's window offers a stunning view of the river, adding to the overall relaxing ambiance.

In addition to the resort's lush greenery, the "swimming pool" is equally inviting. Its large size is perfect for swimming enthusiasts. Don't forget to pack your swimsuit!

For those who are not keen on swimming, there are also "bicycles" available for rent to explore the resort's scenery.

After a comfortable night's sleep in the resort's plush beds, a breakfast buffet awaits you this morning. Choose from a variety of light options, including rice porridge, bread, salads, cereals, fried eggs, omelets, fried rice, sausages, and ham. Finish with fruits, juices, tea, and coffee. Eat until you're full!
