Hokkaido, a city in Japan, enjoys pleasant weather and beautiful scenery year-round. However, it is a region where average ticket prices tend to be higher than other areas (it is farther away, after all, and a little further would take you to Russia).

Today's recommended tourist destination is a cultural village that recreates various locations from Japan's past, from the Meiji era to the Taisho era (1868-1926).

This location features numerous replicas of historical structures. While some are accessible, others are off-limits to visitors.

Let me show you my face. This place is perfect for taking pictures. I've taken hundreds of pictures here because it's really beautiful.

The weather was truly frigid during our visit, as evidenced by the thick layers of clothing we were wearing and the depth of the snow. Walking was difficult, and I nearly sank into the snow at one point. If it weren't for concerns about decorum, I would have loved to roll around and play in the fresh snow.

Image

Those who want to see snow but don't want to go up the hill, this is the place. There are relatively few tourists, no tours, and it's not noisy. I myself arrived in the late afternoon and only had 2-3 hours to walk. I still felt it was too fast. If possible, I would go again early in the morning. It's really worth a walk.

This picturesque pond offers a plethora of photo opportunities. Feel free to capture its beauty as it evokes memories of the beloved anime character, Ikkyu-san.

Sunglasses are essential not only for sun protection but also for shielding your eyes from the glare of snow.

The interior of the house is also like this, with items on display for us to photograph. However, please refrain from touching or moving any of the objects. In fact, it is impossible to pick them up as they are glued in place.

If you visit during the summer, wearing a Japanese-style outfit would be a good idea.

Let's take a look at the farmers' barns.

A typical Japanese "shinta" experience, where we stay in a traditional inn called a ryokan, which is usually more expensive. However, in our case, staying in such a simple and rustic accommodation might not be very appealing to most travelers.

If you're worried about slipping, they have free ski boots and poles to rent.

This photo shows the front of the establishment, which appears quite large due to the multiple layers of clothing. If you arrive at Shin Sapporo Station, you can transfer to another train. However, the train schedule is very limited, so be sure to check it carefully.

This place is fantastic! I highly recommend it and would definitely visit again. During the winter season, the entrance fee is even more affordable, costing around 200 Thai baht, which is roughly the price of a single meal here.

This place is a must-visit.
