Iconsiam unveils 'Sri Mahasamudra' floating museum.

A grand celebration of the 250th anniversary of Thonburi, a first in Thailand, on the banks of the Chao Phraya River.


(November 14, 2018) ICONSIAM held a ceremony to open the first floating museum in Thailand.

The 'Sri Mahasamudra' Junk: A Symbol of Prosperity Arriving with the Flow of Water

To commemorate the great kindness of King Taksin the Great.

On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of Thonburi Sri Maha Samut.


The exhibition showcases the royal biography and achievements of

King Taksin the Great is presented in an exhibition format using techniques

Cutting-edge presentations captivate audiences and deliver immersive experiences.

To provide virtual visitors with an immersive experience that transports them back in time to the actual ship.


The ceremony was honored to have Dr. Wissanu Krea-ngam, Deputy Prime Minister, preside over the opening ceremony.

Accompanied by ICONSIAM executives, sponsors, and renowned actor Aum Atichart Chumnanont,

James Jirayu Tangsrisuk and Noona Nuengtida Bhirombhakdi participated in the opening ceremony as a symbol.

Take the BTS Skytrain to Saphan Taksin Station and exit at Exit 2. Walk straight to the pier.

The performance began with a small puppet show based on the Ramayana epic, specifically the episode "Hanuman Abducts Nang Wari."
