🌺 Embracing the Cosmos: A Starry Night at Mon Moeng

Nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Chiang Mai, Mon Moeng offers a unique experience for nature enthusiasts. Today, during the late rainy season and early winter, we visited Mon Cham, where the weather was excellent, the flowers were beautiful, and there were fields of flowers.

The cosmos flowers are in full bloom, painting the entire field in a vibrant pink hue. The sight is truly breathtaking.

This evening, we will be staying at a mountaintop village called "Mon Mong" or "Mon Mong Homestay." From the website where we booked, the rooms look lovely and are very affordable. Let's take a look and see how beautiful it is. Oh, if you bring your car, you have to park it at the Mon Mong station first and then take the homestay's car up the mountain because you need a four-wheel drive vehicle to go up.

This property offers three room types: Standard, Nest, and Tree. All rooms are equipped with water heaters for your convenience.

Tonight, we're having a barbecue on the mountain. Mon Mong offers a 500 baht barbecue set for two, which we're enjoying on the porch. We're grilling meat, gazing at the stars, and having a delicious dinner. It's absolutely amazing!


The atmosphere at Mon Mong is excellent, nestled in the heart of a valley. Surrounded by orange groves, it offers breathtaking sunset views.


The night was cold, like sleeping with the air conditioner on. The next morning, we woke up and had breakfast at Mon Mong, which was delicious. After that, we checked out and continued our trip down the mountain.
