Route: Chiang Rai City - Doi Tung
The route starts in Chiang Rai City and heads towards Mae Sai on Highway 1. At Mae Sai, turn left onto Highway 1149 towards Doi Tung. Continue on this road until you reach the Doi Chang Moob viewpoint. The road is winding but in good condition. As you approach the border with Myanmar, you will see a Burmese school, soldiers, and a checkpoint. The road then changes to a gravel surface for approximately 2 kilometers. The total travel time is approximately 1.30 hours.
You will then find this sign... prominently displayed in front of you... This is good news, as it means you haven't gotten lost!

The first encounter with Baan Kafae Yod Doi Pha Hee was like love at first sight. It was the first cafe we came across in the village, and it made a lasting impression.

The PHA HEE MOUNTAIN VIEW Cafe seamlessly blends traditional tribal culture with Western influences, much like its signature dish: charcoal-fired avocado pizza. Pair this culinary delight with a steaming cup of cappuccino or authentic Chinese tea for an unforgettable experience.
Phu Pha Hee Coffee Shop, a popular spot with the slogan "Drink coffee with your legs dangling," offers stunning views of the mist-shrouded mountains and valleys. Visitors can also don traditional hill tribe attire for unique photo opportunities.

This establishment is a haven for "bubble tea enthusiasts," boasting a modern aesthetic and a rooftop wooden bridge offering stunning views.
Homestay and Camping Unfortunately, we were unable to stay here with our dog. However, based on other reviews, the service seems excellent, and the price is very reasonable. It appears to be a very friendly place.
Village Paths: Explore the local way of life, customs, beliefs, and culture, and experience the warmth and hospitality of the community, leaving you with a sense of joy and contentment.
Souvenirs include drip coffee, as well as wild fruits such as persimmon, avocado, and Indian gooseberry, which you can choose to give to your friends and family at affordable prices.
