Hello everyone, our trip is to Koh Samui, Surat Thani province for 4 days and 3 nights.
We flew to Surat Thani Airport and took a bus to Don Sak Pier to catch a ferry to Koh Samui. It took about an hour and a half from Don Sak Pier to reach Nathon Pier. Upon arrival, we picked up the motorbike we had rented for 200 baht per day. For this trip, we stayed at the Ibis Samui Bophut Hotel for 3 nights.
With our bags packed, we headed straight to Coco Tam's, a legendary beach bar. This establishment offers a restaurant, cafe, and beach bar all in one. Today, we're here to relax at the beach bar.
As soon as we arrived, it started to rain heavily. However, we were still able to find seats at the bar. The atmosphere was great, and the music was fantastic. After hanging out for a while, we planned to walk to the walking street, but we didn't make it in time. They closed early today due to the heavy rain, so we headed back to our accommodation.
DAY 2
Good morning, day 2! We've already had breakfast. Today, we have a tour scheduled for the Ang Thong Islands. The driver picked us up at the pier at 7:15 AM.
We booked a tour with High Sea Koh Samui and got a promotional price of 900 baht per person.
Our first stop was 'Koh Wua Talap', where the highlight is a hike to a viewpoint about 500 meters away.
After reaching the top of the viewpoint, I felt a sense of exhaustion. However, upon witnessing the breathtaking vista, my fatigue instantly vanished. The sight of the islands scattered across the azure sea was truly magnificent.
The hike to the viewpoint takes about 1 hour roundtrip. You can relax and play on the beach, or go snorkeling if you prefer.
It's time for our lunch. They will prepare a buffet for us to eat on the boat.
Next, we arrived at 'Pi Leh' or 'Inland Sea', a lake in the middle of a valley located on 'Koh Mae Ko'. We had to climb about 150 meters to the viewpoint.
The climb to this viewpoint is not too strenuous, taking only about 5-10 minutes. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with stunning views. The seawater here is an emerald green, and the surrounding rocks and trees create a truly picturesque scene.
After returning from the island tour, it's time for dinner. The restaurant we came to is called Café De Pier x Samui. The restaurant is located in Fisherman Village, not far from our accommodation. It's a super chill cafe right on Bo Phut Beach.
The restaurant features a dark wood design with open-air seating, allowing guests to enjoy the cool sea breeze and admire the iconic view of the old fishing bridge, a local landmark. The menu offers a diverse selection of Thai, Italian, and American cuisine, while the beverage list boasts a wide variety of options.
Day 3: Exploring the Island by Bike and a Visit to SUMMER by Coco Tam's
Good morning! Today marks the third day of our trip, and we're dedicating it to exploring the island by bike. Our first stop is a charming café called SUMMER by Coco Tam's. We previously visited Coco Tam's beach bar on the first day, and today we're eager to experience their café zone.
This beachfront cafe boasts a stunning atmosphere and offers a wide variety of menu options, including savory and sweet dishes, fusion cuisine, and beverages. It's a one-stop shop for a delightful dining experience.
Next, we will visit the **Laem Khao Viewpoint**, located between Chaweng Beach and Lamai Beach. This scenic viewpoint features a rocky cliff overlooking the sea, complete with a pavilion and seating for visitors to enjoy the breathtaking views.
This is a path leading down to the rocks below. Conveniently, there are stairs for easy access.
It's lunchtime, and we're stopping by Kapi Stor for a bite to eat. I've heard it's a great place for southern Thai food, so I had to give it a try.
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is convenient. The menu features a variety of recommended dishes with bold, authentic Southern flavors.
Our next stop is Hin Ta Hin Yai, located on Lamai Beach. It is another popular tourist destination in Koh Samui. Here, you will find large rock formations with unusual shapes. Along the way to the rocks, there are several shops selling "Kalamae," a local specialty. You can buy some as souvenirs.
This is Hin Ta Hin Yai, a rock formation created by the erosion of seawater, wind, and sunlight, giving it a peculiar shape that resembles human anatomy.

Let's have dinner at Cocoon Viewpoint, a stylish cafe with breathtaking panoramic views of Koh Samui.
The restaurant boasts an open-air design, allowing guests to enjoy the cool breeze and stunning ocean views. Decorated in calming tones and natural bamboo materials, the space offers a relaxing atmosphere. A highlight is the photogenic corner, featuring picture-perfect frames and a mesh hammock overlooking the sea. The menu includes a variety of savory and sweet options.
In the late afternoon, we went for a stroll on Chaweng Beach, the longest and most beautiful beach on Koh Samui. The fine sand and crystal-clear water attracted a multitude of tourists enjoying various activities.
After our walk, we headed to Seen Beach Club to listen to some music. It's a trendy beach club located on the edge of Chaweng Beach.
The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic. They play great music, have a large swimming pool, and are decorated in a tropical style. There are many places to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
DAY 4
Today is the last day of our trip. We took a walk and took pictures along Bo Phut Beach. Since we've been staying here, we haven't had a chance to walk on the beach yet. This beach is a small and lively one, as it is home to a fishing village. It is full of boats parked along the beach, and there are also many shops, restaurants, and accommodations.
It's time to go home. This trip, we got to ride a motorbike around the island and see new angles of Koh Samui. We got to sit and chill at a beautiful view cafe, try delicious southern food, and most importantly, go on a tour of the Ang Thong Islands, which has a viewpoint and an inland sea that is incredibly beautiful.
