"Travel: Love Andaman Boat"
Normally, I enjoy mountain climbing, but why have I been visiting Phuket for three years in a row? Hey, how is that possible!

The frequent travel is attributed to the affordable promotional fares offered by AirAsia. This particular trip involved visiting seven destinations, taking advantage of the free ticket rescheduling option. The decision to travel before Songkran was motivated by the expectation of fewer crowds, although the accuracy of this assumption remains to be seen.
This trip is a family vacation, and we want to relax and enjoy ourselves. We plan to eat, take photos, and hang out at cafes. Initially, we planned to stay on Koh Racha for one night and in the city for one night. However, earlier this year, we heard the news that Maya Bay was ranked the 3rd best beach in the world. So, we decided to go there instead.
When planning a seaside vacation, choosing a reputable tour operator is crucial to avoid scams. Before booking, verify the tour operator's license and ensure it is current. This precaution can prevent unpleasant surprises and ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip.
This trip, we chose to go with Love Andaman during the Thai Tourism Festival. (Actually, going to the booth at the event and booking through the orange app cost the same. Plus, booking through the app allowed us to use discounts. Don't tell anyone!)
Let's travel instead of talking so much.
On June 4, 2024, we arrived at Phuket Airport and called a car to pick us up to sign a contract. For this trip, we used the same car rental service as before, Ton Phuket Car Rent. We rented a 7-seater car, which we initially thought would be too big, but it turned out to be just the right size. The air conditioning was excellent, and we didn't have to drive far, so we were very happy with the car. We even considered buying one for ourselves.
The distance from the accommodation to the old town is subjective. It can feel far during the hot daytime, but pleasant during a leisurely evening stroll. For those who enjoy walking, the distance may seem short, while others may find it long. The room itself is suitable for three people, but the air conditioning is not very effective. Although it improved slightly after notifying the staff, it remains a concern.
In order to satisfy my caffeine craving, I decided to visit the coffee shop that I had enjoyed on a previous occasion. The weather was extremely hot, and I was sweating profusely throughout my journey.
Upon arrival, the group of seven ordered eight cups of coffee (one person ordered two, without even trying the first one). They were eager to take a sip, but the barista had changed since their last visit. The coffee did not taste as good as before, leading to disappointment. This experience highlights the saying, "Time changes, but people change more."
After returning to our accommodation, we sought out a delicious dinner option. This trip, we aimed to introduce our family to the most delectable restaurant in the area, as we had personally enjoyed two consecutive days of dining there the previous year. This time around, we repeated the experience, much to our delight.
On July 4, 1967, we drove to the Visith Panwa Pier before 8:30 a.m. (If we had the tour pick us up, it would have cost 200 baht per person). We chose to go ourselves because we had already rented a car, which was more economical. The accommodation was only 10 kilometers from the pier, a 20-minute drive. However, if you are staying at different beaches, calculate for yourself which option is cheaper.
The program allows for flexibility in choosing the order of destinations. Today, our first stop is Pilay Lagoon. Approximately 30 minutes into the boat ride, a female tourist began experiencing seasickness. Everyone offered her smelling salts and water. After a while, she started convulsing. Everyone on board was startled. The guide instructed the boat to stop and administered first aid. He then asked if there were any doctors or nurses present. The situation was alarming, as we were far from shore.
She was moved to the front of the boat and vomited, which improved her symptoms. Thanks to God, the guide, her, and everyone else on the boat for their encouragement. Later, it was discovered that she had not gotten enough sleep the night before, only sleeping for a few hours. Therefore, remember to get plenty of rest before going on a boat trip, everyone. ♥
The absence of sharks was attributed to the high volume of tourists.
The boat passed through Ling Bay, but no monkeys were seen. This is likely due to the fact that it was lunchtime and tourists were hungry and more interested in eating than watching for monkeys.
The group then had lunch at Ao Ton Sai, a beachfront restaurant on Phi Phi Don Island. No photos were taken as everyone was very hungry. The food was catered to foreign tastes.
The scorching sun made the wait unbearable, prompting most tourists to seek refuge in the shade, eagerly anticipating their departure.
The crowd was immense, making it difficult to navigate. We opted for dinner at Yoi restaurant, as usual. We prefer consistency and avoid taking risks. If a restaurant serves delicious food, we stick to it.
Overall, the food is delicious. If you are visiting Phuket, do not miss this breakfast spot. It is only open from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The question now arises: what should we do? Everyone needs to open an app to find a cafe to sit and enjoy a cold coffee. After searching, we found a cafe near our accommodation. We decided to give it a try, but we are unsure if it will be good. We will have to take a chance and see.
The trip ended happily. Phuket is not that bad. The cost of living may be high, but if you plan your trip well and go with a group of people, you can eat, have fun, and finish everything at an affordable price, just like us. See you on the next trip, Pha Hee, Chiang Rai!
