The journey commences in Gamla Stan (Old Town, Stockholm), the birthplace of Stockholm, established in the 13th century. It functioned as the commercial and administrative center during the Middle Ages, owing to its location between the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren. The area is characterized by narrow cobblestone alleys, historic churches, palaces, and pastel-colored buildings. A prominent feature is Stortorget Square, the oldest square in the city.


Construction of the Stockholm Metro (Art Subway) began in the 1950s and it has been developed into the “Longest Art Gallery in the World” by over 150 artists. Each station has a different theme, such as a blue cave, rainbows, sculptures, or large murals.
Famous stations include T-Centralen and Solna Centrum.

The Nationalmuseum, Sweden's main art museum, opened in 1866. It features world-class European art from the Renaissance to the 20th century.


Moderna Museet: A modern art museum for art lovers. Founded in 1958, it features works by world-class artists like Picasso and Dalí, plus contemporary art. Located on Djurgården island.


City Views (Stockholm viewpoints) Stockholm is situated on 14 islands, offering numerous viewpoints such as Monteliusvägen and Skinnarviksberget. Another highlight is the golden crown, the Three Crowns symbol, which is the national emblem of Sweden. It signifies that this crown does not rest on any single head but hovers over the entire city.


Gammelstad Church Town originated in the Middle Ages (around the 15th century). Because people had to travel long distances for religious ceremonies, they built cottages around the church. Today, it is a UNESCO World Heritage site with over 400 red wooden houses surrounding the Nederluleå Church, which are still used during some important festivals.


First created in 1989 by Swedish artists, the ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi was the world's first ice hotel. It is constructed annually from the ice of the Torne River, featuring a unique design each year. The structure includes guest rooms, an art exhibition, and an ice bar. It melts during the summer and is rebuilt every winter.

Jukkasjärvi Church is an old, red, Nordic-style wooden church in Jukkasjärvi village, northern Sweden. It is a peaceful religious center for the Lapland community, located near the ICEHOTEL.


Established as a national park in 1909, Abisko is one of the first national parks in Europe. It was created to preserve the natural landscape of the Lapland region in northern Sweden. The area has a special microclimate that results in clearer skies than other locations, making it one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights, especially at the Aurora Sky Station. The park is surrounded by mountains, Lake Torneträsk, and the world-class Kungsleden trekking trail.


Founded in the early 20th century for Europe's largest iron ore mine (LKAB), Kiruna is now relocating its entire city. The original location is subsiding due to underground mining, making this the world's largest urban relocation project.


Hamnøy is an old fishing village that developed from the cod fishing era. The red wooden houses (rorbuer), once used as fishermen's lodging, are now tourist accommodations. The view of mountains and fjords makes this an iconic image of Lofoten.


Nusfjord, a 19th-century fishing village, is one of the best-preserved villages in Norway, featuring traditional fish warehouses, wooden houses, and a harbor.


Henningsvær is a small village that blends nature with a modern lifestyle. It evolved from a fishing village into an art and tourist community, famous for its world-renowned island football field, and is filled with cafes, galleries, and a hip atmosphere.


Ramberg Beach is a natural beach in the Lofoten Islands, featuring white sand and turquoise water, even though it is located above the Arctic Circle. The view of the rocky mountains in the background creates a beautiful contrast, making it one of the world's most unexpectedly beautiful beaches.



Reine, an old cod fishing village once named "the most beautiful village in Norway," is surrounded by steep mountains and deep fjords.


Narvik is a small city with a rich history and world-class views. It played a key role in World War II and serves as a port for exporting iron ore from Sweden. Surrounded by mountains and fjords, a cable car ascends Narvikfjellet for scenic views.


Fredvang Bridges: An ordinary road with extraordinary views. Built to connect the islands in Lofoten for easier access, its curved design complements the landscape, making it a popular photography spot.


Sakrisøy, a small village in Lofoten, is known for its bright yellow wooden houses by the fjord. Originally a cod fishing community, it is now one of the most beautiful photography spots in Norway.


Svolvær Harbor, the main port of the Lofoten Islands, grew from the fishing industry, particularly cod, which is vital to Norway's economy. It offers an authentic fishing town atmosphere and is a starting point for sea activities like fishing and kayaking, featuring cafes and restaurants with excellent views.
