Have you ever felt like you're walking on a path with no clear destination in sight?
But we still choose to move on just because someone is always by your side.
Nui is the same. Whether it's the path of life or the path of travel, Nui has almost no idea what awaits at the end of the journey.
Will it be as beautiful as I imagined... Will it be as outstanding as everyone says?
But every journey is meaningful and special when someone holds your hand and walks with you.
For example, today's trip, many people say, "Why are you going? Is the sea in Hua Hin as beautiful as Phuket?"
Nui argued, "Huh!! Or did I not go to Hua Hin? I went to Kui Buri, yeah."
But what I really want to say is that the charm and joy of traveling doesn't lie in comparing which place is more beautiful.
.......... But it depends on how much happiness that destination can bring us.
"X2 KUI BURI" An extraordinary journey... to a destination of happiness
P.S. Follow all travel stories ... Where to travel, where to eat, where to stay and it's right
You can find it here My Life My TravelNui set off early in the morning as usual because she wanted to make every minute of her journey meaningful.
And this time, the journey began on the first flight of the day with Thai AirAsia, starting at 7.10 am.
As Nui's journey today is still long, she decided to make the most of her time on the plane by ordering a meal.
Today, Nui made 2 menus, which are quite different.
The first menu, green curry chicken rice, tastes just right. It's not too spicy, and the rice is very soft. It looks like a small box, but it's a lot. I couldn't finish it. I was full before I could.
The second menu, Chicken Lasagna. I normally don't eat this menu because I don't like the smell of spices. But my boyfriend ordered it and when I tried it, hey! It doesn't have a strong smell like I used to eat. The taste is really good. I like this menu now. Pass.
After a satisfying meal, drowsiness sets in. Eyes begin to close as hands intertwine. Gazing out the window, a soft whisper breaks the silence, "I'm so glad you're always by my side." The feeling of contentment is overwhelming, leaving one unsure whether to bask in the moment or succumb to the urge to vomit.
And I couldn't help but think to myself, "Our feelings aren't that different." And then I fell asleep all the way to the destination airport.
Upon arriving at the airport, Nui's journey went straight to X2 KUI BURI without hesitation. However, along the way, there were often distractions that made her sway. Nui stopped to buy coffee at Proto Chino to wake herself up to work.
Proto Chino is quite large and is a great place to stop for a break during a long journey. It has a variety of amenities, including restaurants, a bookstore, and a Starbucks. This makes it an ideal place for travelers to relax and recharge.
Along the way, I stopped to take pictures every now and then. This is the joy of traveling for me.
The roadside path that many people overlook actually has beautiful corners to discover. The same road, just on different sides, can have such different images.
It's no different from the human heart, which has a wide range of emotions that are difficult to truly understand.
A smiling face ... who would know how sad it is inside.
After a long and enjoyable drive, admiring the scenery on both sides of the road, Nui finally arrived at X2 KUI BURI just before sunset.
After a long journey, I sipped a refreshing welcome drink of lime soda. It was so delicious!
First impression... the feeling I get from this place is one of comfort and relaxation. The harmony with nature is evident everywhere you look, with lush green trees that are a feast for the eyes.
A long walkway made of wooden planks softens the harshness of the large stones.
What a wonderful design that seamlessly blends with nature.
Nui's room today is a Luxury Pool Villa Suite. As soon as I opened the door, I exclaimed, "Wow, it's so beautiful!"
From the outside, the design appears as a rather rigid square box. However, upon opening it, the interior reveals much more than just a simple square.
The Luxury Pool Villa Suite is a spacious two-story room that can accommodate up to four guests. It features a large private swimming pool in front.
The room is fully equipped with everything you need, nothing is missing. The decoration on both floors is the same, with everything the same. There are 8 bottles of drinking water, two refrigerators, and everything is really complete.
The most noticeable difference is probably in the bathroom. This picture shows the bathroom on the 1st floor, where the toilet and shower are separated by a clear glass partition. Inside, there are complete amenities, including soap, lotion, shampoo, hair dryer, and four towels. Let's go up to the upper floors and see how they differ.
When I went upstairs, I really liked the stairs. The design is cool and saves a lot of space.
From the top floor, I can see the view of the swimming pool and the sea. I can't help but smile a little. Sleeping on the top floor is so cool. Don't anyone dare to fight me for it!
The bed is a king-size, super special. Nui and I tried sleeping on it with 3 people on the same bed. It was very comfortable. Actually, we didn't try sleeping. We were chatting and chatting, and then we all fell asleep together. So we found out that the bed is really big. It's also very comfortable to sleep on.
Let's go see the bathroom and see how it's different from the one downstairs.
The bathroom on the upper floor is divided into two sections. The first section is the shower area, which includes the shower itself, various bathroom fixtures, and a toilet. This area is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a glass partition.
And another part is an open-air style with an open roof and a bathtub for soaking, stargazing, and relaxing. It's quite relaxing.
Wandering around the spacious room to shake off the fatigue of the journey, I heard the rumbling of my stomach... a sign that I was hungry.
As I walked to the restaurant, I passed the resort's central swimming pool, which is located near the Luxury Pool Villa Suite. The light was beautiful, so I stopped to take a couple of pictures before following the call of my stomach and heading to the restaurant.
The restaurant at X2 KUI BURI, called 4K Restaurant, is open from morning until late at night.
The evening atmosphere of this restaurant is incredibly colorful. There are soft sofas to sit on and soak up the romantic ambiance.
In addition to being the main restaurant of X2 KUI BURI, the 4K Restaurant also has a bar zone that serves drinks, allowing you to sit back and listen to music accompanied by the sound of the waves.
And most importantly, the 4K Restaurant is located by the sea, making Nui's meal a very special dinner.
Lost in the beauty of nature, I almost forgot how hungry I was. But now that I remember, my stomach is starting to rumble. Let's order some food and eat, shall we?
The first dish is a sizzling Seafood Set, featuring a variety of grilled seafood like prawns, shellfish, crab, and fish, all served with a tantalizingly spicy dipping sauce.
The second dish
This Angel Hair pasta with crab meat costs 290 baht.
The crab meat used is the claw part, which is generously added and stir-fried with olives. The colors are beautiful.
Selmon Pesto Salmon Steak, priced at 620 THB.
This dish is my favorite. Eating a lot of fish will make you smart. The grilled salmon is cooked to perfection and served with mashed potatoes and spinach. The aroma is amazing. The taste is soft and smooth. I love this menu.
Rock of Lamb - Grilled lamb ribs with herbs, 750 Baht
This dish is beautifully presented by the gentleman, making it extremely appetizing.
Prawns Avocado Cocktail Salad Salad served with prawns and avocado, priced at 280.-
This dish is very delicious, with the fragrant aroma of avocado and large, firm shrimp.
Black Ink Spaghetti Seafood Spaghetti with black ink, priced at 350.-
Seafood served in abundance
Next, the crispy fried duck curry costs 300 baht.
The aroma of the rich curry paste fills the air.
And the last dish, a rich and flavorful Mushroom Soup, priced at 250.-
Okay, I've eaten a lot, so I don't think I can sleep right away. I'll take a walk and enjoy the fresh air while exploring different corners of the hotel. As I walked, I arrived at the lobby. Since I arrived in the evening, I was busy carrying my luggage and dragging my tired body from the journey into the room. I didn't take any pictures of the lobby area.
The current design is beautiful in a different way. The lobby is an open space, like a large, empty square box. As you walk in, you'll find an open area with a large tamarind tree in the center. This is what they call simple luxury with design.
After a short walk, I started to feel tired and wanted to rest, so I hurried back to my room to play in the pool at the Villa.
The swimming pool of the Luxury Pool Villa Suite is not very wide, but it is several meters long. You can swim for a long time without reaching the edge of the pool.
After playing in the water for a while, we sat down to chat and gossip, as usual, because the next day we had plans to go hiking.
I often wonder and ask myself why I don't just sleep in and relax on my days off. But the answer I always come to is that life is a journey. Every place I have the opportunity to visit, I want to make the most of my time there. I want to take the time I would have spent sleeping comfortably and use it to explore the world and gain new experiences.
Khao Daeng Viewpoint is located in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park. The hiking distance is approximately 725 meters. Due to my rather chubby physique and the moderately steep path, it took me almost an hour to reach the viewpoint. I barely made it in time to catch the first light of the day.
But the heavens were not on our side today. Not even a glimpse of the round sun peeking over the horizon, only light filtering through the clouds.
Even though there was no round sun rising from the horizon, I secretly fell in love with this place because of the 360-degree view.
Each degree has its own unique and beautiful form. In front of the viewpoint is the sea, the point where we will wait to see the first light of day.
The other side is also the sea, vast and far as the eye can see.
Amidst the embrace of nature, the gentle breeze whispers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The feeling of someone's arms around you adds to the sense of comfort and security.
Looking out to the other side, you can see the way of life of the villagers in that area. Wherever there is water, there is real life.
And the ultimate surprise is the breathtaking view of the majestic mountains that stretch out behind the property, creating a stunning backdrop.
I can assure you that if anyone has the opportunity to go up to the Khao Daeng viewpoint, they will fall in love with the beautiful and diverse views, including the high mountains, the vast sea, and the way of life of rice farming.
This is a very cute spectacled langur.
Many of them came out to show off their moves, challenging the camera, jumping and swinging around.
Some find food in nature when there is abundance. It is often a place where life can be sustained.
Nui spent quite a while up there, when her stomach started to growl and the sun began to shine brightly, Nui decided to head back and said goodbye to the Khao Daeng viewpoint with this picture.
Upon arriving at the accommodation, I immediately took a shower and ran straight to the dining room because I was very hungry. Let's see what X2 Kui Buri has to offer for breakfast.
The breakfast here is a buffet with a decent selection of food.
And there are chefs who come to cook egg menus for you to eat hot. You can choose to order.
The machine also has a variety of fruit juices.
For tea, coffee, and Ovaltine, the staff will come and ask what kind we would like.
And what really impressed me was the champagne service in the morning, which was just enough to make me feel alive.
And in the morning like this, what is indispensable is a soft-boiled egg to help replenish energy. After climbing the mountain, I'm quite tired.
But Nui's probably going to have to go all out like this.
Eating and chatting happily, until we ate many things.
And to top it all off, this cup is so full that I'm stuffed for the whole day.
After finishing her meal, Nui took a leisurely stroll around the hotel to soak up the atmosphere before checking out.
The daytime swimming pool is no less beautiful with the sea view in front.
And the surrounding area of the pond is full of the shade of trees.
In addition to the large swimming pool where you can swim to your heart's content, the resort also offers a variety of other activities, such as cycling.
After having a lot of fun, it's time to go home... Before leaving, I want to leave my love at X2 KUI BURI.
Two bodies, one heart, gazing at the vast sky and sea, yet never feeling lonely, for we still have each other.
On the way back to Bangkok, Nui had heard that Hua Hin has many delicious things to eat. So, as a big foodie, how could we miss it? We had to stop by and try it.
The first shop that Nui stopped by was Together Bagery & Cafe.
There are many delicious snacks, and most importantly, the prices are affordable.
And the recommended menu, which I don't have a picture of because as soon as I opened the box, it was gone before anyone could say no. I didn't even have time to press the shutter. That's the young coconut cake.
You'll definitely regret missing out on this. The cake is so soft it melts in your mouth, and the coconut topping is plentiful, fragrant, and perfectly sweet. Each bite with both the cake and the coconut is a delightful explosion of aroma, sweetness, and softness. It's impossible to stop at just one bite.
The shop is located opposite the back of the Chatchai Market and another shop that is believed to be a must-visit for anyone who comes to Hua Hin is Maenongnuch Mango Sticky Rice. The shop is located on the opposite side of the road from the Chatchai Market.
As the name of the shop suggests, the sticky rice with mango is a must-try. Nui bought a set for tasting at 70 baht.
In my personal opinion, the taste is average, not particularly delicious or a must-try.
But here there will be many snacks for us to try and buy as souvenirs.
Before leaving Hua Hin, there is another place that I can't miss, which is Hua Hin Railway Station. Everyone says that this is a very beautiful and unique train station.
For those who love taking pictures, you must be impressed. If you pass by, stop by and take a picture.
And for Nui, every journey has meaning, not every story is memorable.
This trip was another happy one, even though the destination wasn't quite what I had hoped for. For example, the viewpoint at Khao Daeng, which I had eagerly climbed to see the sunrise over the water, was obscured by clouds and fog. However, that doesn't mean the place wasn't beautiful. The surrounding area offered many other things to discover, and nature always seems to fill in the gaps and make me feel complete.
Note: Picture from Khao Daeng viewpoint
Just like people, if we just stand still and stay in one place, how can we find the other half of happiness? Let's fly out of the nest and into the wide world like birds, and then you will find the missing happiness.
In the end, I would like to thank every journey that has taught me and made me feel love for every story that has happened.
Thank you for all the support.
Thank you for all the likes.
Thank you for all the shares.
Thank you for voting.
Thank you to everyone who has stopped by.
Thank you for this space to share.
Thank you to the person who is always by my side.
And
Thank you X2 KUI BURI, the destination of happiness, for not letting me down.
