Hello, dear fellow gourmets. How was your Songkran holiday? Tamkarnwela didn't go anywhere. I stayed in Bangkok like every year. The only thing I enjoyed was the empty roads in Bangkok. The only downside was that I couldn't find anything to eat near my house, so I had to go to the mall.

Today, Tamkarnwela will take you to have a Saturday Brunch at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, Up And Above restaurant.

The Okura Prestige Bangkok has been hosting Saturday Brunch since the beginning of the year, featuring an International Buffet with a wide variety of international delicacies, including fresh seafood and premium ingredients carefully selected by the chefs from each region of Thailand. These include oysters from Surat Thani, mussels, blue crabs, fresh sea bass, and a special dish that everyone loves: large river prawns from Ayutthaya. Here, you can choose to have the chef cook your prawns in 3 different styles: grilled, baked with Chinese black beans, or stir-fried with black pepper (choose one dish per person). The best part is that everything else is unlimited!

Let's see what the food here looks like. What does the river prawn look like?

Ready, come on.

Up And Above Restaurant is the main restaurant of The Okura Prestige Bangkok. You can enjoy various buffet meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as beautiful afternoon tea.

This is the first time Tamkarnwela has come to eat at Up And Above. I've only had afternoon tea here before when it was open as Saturday Brunch. It looks interesting because most other hotels only have Sunday Brunch, but this one has both Saturday Brunch and Sunday Brunch. As far as I know, the food on both days is different.

Details please.

Oysters from Surat Thani. Honestly, I prefer this type of oyster over Fin de Claire. The flesh of our local oysters is much thicker and sweeter.

Fresh, bouncy shrimp

Sweet crab meat

This is a crab leg.

The pig family is here too.

Braised pork leg served whole

Roasted suckling pig

Crispy pork belly

A wide variety of ingredients and spices

This stall is full of Thai food. The food rotates.

Pomelo salad

I haven't tried this, but it looks like rice wrapped in lotus leaves and fried taro.

Grilled satay with smoke billowing

Deep-fried soft-shell crab

The quality of Japanese food here is already good.

Full course from Yamazato's kitchen

Delicious and worth the price.

The salmon are walking in a line.

This dish is marinated prawns in white balsamic, parsley and shallots, crustacean mayonnaise. At first I thought it would be something like spicy prawns in fish sauce, but this is more of a Western style. The taste is light and well-rounded.

Nicoise Salad Small size please.

This is another type of salad.

Smoked Salmon

Our own creative salad corner

Western food on the line.

Mackerel with cream sauce ( ปลาแมคเคอรเรล)

Pan-Fried Sea Bass Fillet and Pesto Balsamic (Sea Bass)

Pan-fried cobia, ginger and champagne sauce, saffron polenta gratin potatoes (sea bass)

Potato Gratin

All kinds of bread

The croissant is delicious.

Looks delicious

The dessert corner is fun just to walk around and look at.

Matcha Fountain, dip in the green tea.

The blueberry cheesecake is very delicious.

Mango Cake

Sticky rice with banana and black bean filling.

The Thai sweet corner with caramelized bananas is excellent.

The bottom left is Nuts Tart and the top right is Black Forrest Cake.

Crepe corner

Whipping cream

It's stuffed with a lot of ingredients.

Let's try the satay.

And even though the hostess of the event chose river prawns from Ayutthaya, the kind with fermented soybean sauce.

.....River prawns with black pepper sauce

...or choose the basic grilled prawns with dipping sauce, which is already spicy. We can share three plates because there are three of us. I like the black pepper sauce the most, it's very rich.

Seafood Combination

Have a taste of roasted pork / crispy pork.

I couldn't resist trying the Japanese food... and I wasn't disappointed.

Have a little taste of everything.

There is also a corner with freshly made crispy rice pancakes.

Let's stir-fry fresh ingredients. Go ahead and choose what you want.

It turned out to be this good-looking.

Another stir-fried dish...it should be good with rice.

Take it one bite at a time so you don't feel guilty 555++

The crepe I ordered.

Delicious Thai desserts

Fruit juice included in the Buffet.

Mocktails: Sunset Cooler and Passion Refreshing are so delicious and refreshing!

Matcha Fountain

Have fun poking!

The macarons at Okura are truly delicious.

I would like a cup of coffee.

Let's end with cake.
