We started from Wat Rong Khun, Boon Rawd Farm, Doi Pha Tang, Phu Chi Fa, Baan Dam, Doi Mae Salong, 101 Tea Farm, and finally to Choui Fong Tea Plantation.

Prepare
It's very easy for me to fix the date, time, and location.
And you can roughly know how many percent of our trip has been completed.
Our journey will begin like this...
Arrive in Chiang Rai in the morning and explore the city and its surroundings, including Wat Rong Khun and Boon Rawd Farm.
Aim to reach Doi Pha Tang before sunset and check in to your accommodation at the foot of Phu Chi Fa.
Waking up on the second day, I rushed up to Phu Chi Fa to capture as much of the atmosphere, feelings, and memories as possible.
After that, we checked out, packed our things, and continued our journey to Baan Dam.
And through Mae Fah Luang University before going to sleep on top of Doi Mae Salong.
On the last day, I woke up and wandered around to see how the local people lived there.
Including the famous tea plantation on Mae Salong, such as Tea Plantation 101.
On our way back, we stopped by the Chui Fang tea plantation to hear the final words before returning to our hometown.
The rough plan is as follows. Booking accommodation and tickets
The main thing is to book a round-trip flight and accommodation at Phu Chi Fa.
The part at Doi Mae Salong, we planned to walk in.
Travel
For inter-provincial travel, we chose to use the services of "Somchai Tour".
We booked round-trip flights for 5:00 PM both ways, so we could arrive early the next morning.
The cost is 773 baht per leg, so a round trip would be around 1,500 baht per person.
Booking details: http://www.sombattour.com/html/route/909.php
Not many people go up to the mountains during the rainy season, so we got a price of 1,500 baht per day.
It will cost 4,500 baht for 3 days, but we rely on the cuteness of teenagers.
The total cost for the entire trip, including the car, driver, and fuel, was 4,000 baht after I negotiated with my brother.
Booking details: inbox on the page : )
Accommodation
We agreed to book accommodation only when we go to sleep at Phu Chi Fa. As for Doi Mae Salong, we will walk in.
For Phu Chi Fa, we chose "Heuan Dok Siew" because the price is reasonable.
The accommodation is a two-story house. It is clean, well-maintained, and has a nice atmosphere. Breakfast is included.
And most importantly, it's not far from Phu Chi Fa at all, making it very convenient to get to.
The cost is 2,500 baht per person, which averages out to 500 baht per person.
Booking details: http://www.dorksiow.com/today1.html
For Doi Mae Salong, we walked in, but we found a hostel that we really liked.
That's "Sin Sae" they charge 100 baht per head, chill. The accommodation is okay for us.
Booking details: 053 765 026
This is our initial plan, which is not too expensive or too difficult.
Children can go, adults can go well. Especially if you get together with a group of close friends, it's even more fun.
With everything perfectly planned, it's time to embark on our journey! : )
The First Step
After checking in for our flight to Chiang Rai, we turned to say goodbye to our family and relatives who had come to see us off.
That evening, the sky was brighter than usual, with the sunlight filtering through the glass of the terminal building in a soft, hazy glow. It was a sign that it was time for us to part. We hugged our parents and said our goodbyes to our family with warmth.
We would be back soon. Well, it was time for us to leave... Oops!
In reality, we were scrambling to stuff our belongings into our bags and hailing a taxi. If we were having trouble, we would have to take a motorbike taxi this time. Anyway, we had to hurry to catch theสมบัติทัวร์ bus.
The bus leaves Bangkok at 5 pm. Everything seemed so rushed. We were just a few minutes away from missing the bus.
We were quite excited because this trip was our first time going north to Chiang Rai...
This trip has 4 people in Bangkok, 4 people in Chiang Mai, 1 person will fly later, and 1 person has withdrawn from the trip.
Everyone comes from different places, but they all have the same destination: "Chiang Rai". Wow!
I barely made it through the ordeal of getting this one-way ticket.
Hailing a taxi or motorbike taxi while wearing a dust mask to protect against air pollution, I arrived at the Somboon Tour bus station.
The place looked clean, big, and spacious. Looking to the left, I saw a large white bus.
The writing on the side of the car says Bangkok - Chiang Rai. That must be our car.
We loaded our bags into the plane's belly. Oops! No, we carried our bags and handed them to the staff.
To tag the number of the bag we left under the bus and walk up to the VIP bus.
Our journey tonight will be nothing short of perfect... : )
The wheels started rolling from Bangkok, right on time. We stretched our legs forward, as if we had chartered the entire bus.
The four of us got to know each other again, to make our friendship more spicy.
It was just past eleven o'clock at night when the bus stopped and we were allowed to get off to have a snack.
However, the space in front of me is no longer empty. It's a delicious buffet.
This is my first time using Sombat Tour to travel up north. I must say that the service is excellent.
The food we chose was okay, not bad, not great. It was edible, clean, and tasty.
You can eat until you die, they won't mind. Most importantly, there are many things to choose from.
After finishing our meal, it was time for a long sleep to wake up in Chiang Rai…
Hello Chiang Rai
We arrived in Chiang Rai at 6 am, with a light drizzle that showed no signs of stopping.
We have set up a specific Line group to keep in touch and inquire about the well-being of the group members.
It means that 4 more people from Chiang Mai will arrive around 8 or 9 am. We should find something to do before then.
The other person who will fly after said that when he finishes work, he will rush to fly from Udon Thani to follow. It should arrive around noon or afternoon.
After updating the latest information of the people in the group, it's time for us to manage the current tasks as best as possible.
Oh... I found the songthaew here. We went to ask about tourist attractions in Chiang Rai city, where are some interesting places to go?
Along with inquiring about the cost of renting a songthaew to travel according to the plan we have set.
This special package for 4,000 baht includes car, fuel, and driver fees. Oh my god! > <
We took a songthaew to tour Chiang Rai city and stopped at the clock tower. We walked around Chiang Rai all morning.
Wow... This clock tower is so beautiful! I've never been to Chiang Rai before, so seeing something like this is really exciting.
No, I'm super excited, brother and sister. That road is so country. There's a golden clock tower in the middle of the road that's so beautiful and shiny.
It was around 7 am, the usual time for the monks to go on their alms round. As someone who enjoys making merit and wanting to capture some beautiful photos, I decided to follow them.
And wanting to make merit in a foreign land, I took out the food I had stored from the tour bus and offered it to the monks.
This marks an auspicious occasion to officially kick off this wonderful trip.
Looking into the alley on the left, we found a morning market. Vendors had set up their stalls in rows, despite the continuous drizzle.
We walked into the market looking for some exotic food. Holy cow, the left side was full of wild bull meat, chopped and sliced into pieces.
The Chiang Rai morning market is like any other provincial market in Thailand, with a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and cooked and raw food for sale.
And finally, we ended up at the restaurant at the end of the alley for stir-fried basil with fried egg…
We finished eating at 8pm already, but there's still no sign of the other 4 people.
We went to sit at a coffee shop near the clock tower. Chiang Rai people should know it well. I ordered a hot milk and a piece of cake to eat. Wow!!!
The taste is good. As I like to talk to the locals, I asked them where to go and what to do.
I have some information. I usually use a PVC selfie stick to take pictures and record my travel stories.
But this time I didn't bring it, so I had to come here to find it, so I could prepare to take pictures from a beautiful high angle on the mountaintop.
I went back to the market again because I saw some stationery when I walked past. I glanced to the right.
I saw a lightweight, bright red walking stick. Uncle, how much is it? 25 baht, sir. I'll take one.
After paying, I told the uncle that I would put this camera on the end of the pole. Does the uncle have any way?
Oh my goddddd!!! Within 5-10 minutes, I already have my favorite selfie stick.
I thanked him and walked out of the store, eager to show off my DIY selfie stick.
Don't be surprised if you see blue, red, and long stems mixed in with almost every photo throughout the trip. : )
After everyone went back into the coffee shop, they were all stunned. "Damn, how did you do that?" the man said. But that wasn't the end of the story.
We talked about the time we had to go to Choui Fong tea plantation. We thought that if we could take a selfie from a high angle, it would be quite beautiful.
With Tim, another friend on the trip, we confidently walked out of the shop and went to a plumbing supply store.
I bought another PVC selfie stick, this time with a telescopic pole.
The phone rang loudly. The other four friends were about to arrive at the Chiang Rai Bus Terminal.
We boarded a songthaew and headed back to the bus terminal to welcome four new members who were about to arrive…
Long time no see, you've gained a lot of weight, haven't you? We greeted each other as a courtesy, as people who used to know each other.
The songthaew's wheels spun with the sound of chatter, boasting of the strange and new experiences everyone had had on the previous trip.
Some went whitewater rafting, cycling, riding elephants to catch grasshoppers, while others went hunting in the Amazon rainforest and got a water buffalo.
We just chatted away, getting to know each other like strangers meeting for the first time.
I'm not sure if I should laugh or what, but sometimes I'm too embarrassed to. Oh my god! We've arrived at Wat Rong Khun!
I couldn't help but take out my camera and start shooting the moment my feet touched the ground outside the temple.
This is Wat Rong Khun, it's incredibly beautiful. A few months before we came, there was an earthquake in Chiang Rai.
This caused significant damage to the gauge and surrounding area, but it still retains a considerable amount of its beauty.
Let's check in at the temple and see what's interesting inside.
I'll use plain language based on what I actually see and do, because I don't know what I'm seeing.
If you want to know more information and be 100% accurate, please click New tab and type google.co.th.
Inside the temple, the atmosphere is cool and shady. Looking to the left, you will see a golden church. Looking to the right, you will see the Rong Khun temple.
But the golden church that my friends saw is actually a bathroom! 555
We walked around to capture the beauty of the temple in every nook and cranny.
As you walk deeper, you will see a prominent round white pavilion standing in front of you.
This is a trick to get people to throw coins into the well, and then let the coins fall on the highest point.
A flower garland that rises high from the water. If anyone can make the coin stand on top of the garland.
Or in the area of the tray, the prayer of that person will come true...
The area around the round pavilion has four silver Bodhi trees surrounding it. Each leaf of the silver Bodhi tree
Billions and trillions of leaves will be inscribed with aspirations and hung as shown in the picture.
Now let's go inside the white church that everyone sees often.
At that moment, I felt like, "How did they do it? It's so beautiful and big."
The white plaster is carved into various forms, some depicting hell, others depicting heaven. Every pattern and piece of work has its own meaning.
It is truly impossible to estimate the value of this or compare it to anything else. And the best part is right here.
Rich in meaning, metaphors, and allusions to the past, present, and future worlds in a harmonious way.
Unfortunately, we were unable to take any photos inside the building due to a "No Photo" sign.
Boonrawd Farm
The weather was very hot and humid. As we were visiting during the rainy season, we didn't know when it would start raining.
We got on the bus and continued our journey. The distance from Wat Rong Khun to Boonrawd Farm is not very far, as they are located in the same area.
Soon, we saw a large, gleaming golden lion in the middle of a lush green field.
We checked the schedule for the farm tour and booked a slot for 12:00 pm. The cost was 50 baht per person per round.
In the meantime, we took some fun photos with the bright yellow tiger.
The staff's voice announced for us to go together at the pick-up point. We are ready to travel around Boon Rawd Farm, my friends.
Within the farm, there are various farms, including vegetables, fruits of various kinds, as well as a flower field that stretches as far as the eye can see on an area of over 10,000 rai.
During the winter season, the team will stop at the vineyards and strawberry fields, allowing you to pick and eat fresh fruit directly from the plants.
We stopped at the tea plantation to take a souvenir photo.
Not far from the tea plantation, we went to see rare animals in Thailand that the farm has raised, namely giraffes and zebras.
We bought food to feed the basket for 20 baht in order to get a picture and get close to it closely.
During our visit, these were the activities we participated in. In reality, Boon Rawd Farm is even more beautiful than in the pictures.
I will be able to sit in the car and enjoy the view of the cold wind. Oh, oh, oh... I think I have to come back here again. : )
As it is low season, the farm is not yet open to the public in many areas. However, for those who plan to visit during the upcoming New Year,
I expect to see much more than I do, because the team told me that after October this year onwards,
The farm will be adding many more activities, such as ATV riding, kayaking, and ziplining across the river.
And open a path for cycling around the farm as well. For those who like this style, don't miss it.
More about Boon Rawd Farm...
Boon Rawd Farm offers farm tours for 50 baht per person.
Children under 4 years old are free. The journey takes approximately 45-50 minutes. The first morning trip is around 9:30 AM.
Afternoon 12.30 pm. The last round is 5.00 pm. As for the farm tour, it will be closed from March to October.
And will be open during the winter season from November to February. But the Phuphirom Restaurant is open as usual.

Doi Pha Tang
We spent about an hour at Boon Rawd Farm when the phone rang. "Hey, I'll be in Chiang Rai around 2:30 PM," said Phai, who was flying in to join us. In the meantime, we decided to find a restaurant to have lunch while waiting for him.
To be honest, I was starving. We had been traveling and walking around since morning, and my energy was running low.
The songthaew driver drove us into town and recommended a famous restaurant called "Salung Ngyn". It wasn't too far from the city center.
The atmosphere seemed nice, and it would probably be even more chill at night. We walked in and were greeted by the simple and classic decor of the restaurant.
The floor was covered in brown tiles, and the tables were black, ready to welcome lovely guests like us.
(Wait! Why don't the color of the tiles and the table match the ones in the picture you took?!)
We picked up the menu to order food...
Wow, every dish looked so delicious! They even had frog curry. We ordered several of their signature dishes.
The restaurant's recommended dishes were northern Thai and jungle food, and they all looked so appetizing...
I don't remember exactly what we ordered, but that meal definitely left us feeling full and satisfied...
After we finished with Bills, we left the city for the airport to pick up my other brother. We welcomed him like a celebrity.
There are light signs made from iPads, and they are greeted as if they were important people.
Footage has emerged of a man resembling a VIP walking among red carpets in Hollywood.
Ohhhhh... It's really proud of me, friends. (Tsus! I'm shy)
After all nine of us were present,
It's time to go and smell the soil, wind, and rain at Doi Pha Tang. : )
To add to the atmosphere, we brought elephants, tigers, and lions onto the truck with us.
It's strange that the tigers and lions didn't attack us at all. They just crouched down and stared at us when we pitted them against each other.
The elephant, the tiger, and the lion, which are said to bring temporary happiness to us, are indeed beer.
We sipped beer and chatted until we reached A. Thoeng. We could go left to Doi Pha Tang or right to Phu Chi Fa. We chose to go left.
The roads began to look simple and free of the many cars like in the capital.
Along the way, you will encounter the pristine beauty of nature, coupled with the increasingly cool air as you ascend to higher altitudes.
Some are cornfields, some are orchards interspersed with small and large villages of that community.
We picked up the video camera to capture the story. The girl brought a large camera to capture the memorable moments.
Unable to resist, I had to climb onto the roof to absorb as much natural energy as possible.
We traveled up with music playing through the bluetooth speaker to create an atmosphere.
Not even a hundred steps, he met a monk on the mountain.
The fog was thick, the path was slippery, and the sky had forgotten what it was like to have the sun as a companion.
Yet there was still some faint light filtering through the mist and clouds, guiding us to the gap.
Khao Chong Khad is a large rock formation that has split apart, creating a space where five people can stand together.
We can't see anything but fog and mist.
The wind blew past, gently hitting our faces, as we held hands and led the fog away from that place for a moment.
Here we are near our neighboring country, aren't we?
We couldn't capture the full extent of the experience with our cameras because there was no light left.
But that image still lingers in our retinas, unforgotten...
After leaving Khao Chong Khad, we had to hurry to the highest point on Doi Pha Tang. We turned on the flash from our mobile phones to light our way.
Some people slipped, some were cold, some were afraid of the dark, but we still helped each other and supported each other until we reached the foot of the last hill.
We are almost there. In a few steps, we will ring the bell and let the world know that
Our two feet have stepped on the land on the mountaintop called "Doi Pha Tang".
The top is getting cold, wet and soggy from the fog and steam. The walkway is slippery and dangerous.
The climb became so steep that we didn't want to continue. We turned back and told ourselves that
Next year I'll come again. This year I'll leave it for now. Many friends are very sad.
Some people even squatted down and cried, wondering why they didn't keep walking up.
Actually, we continued walking, friends.
Just a few steps away from the Check-in point we've been dreaming of, I rushed ahead to be the first to set foot on the moon.
From the vantage point of my elevated position, I captured a photograph to commemorate the moment.
Some shouted in glee, while others lay dead, their bodies bruised from the recent fight.
You'll have to experience it for yourself. We're ringing the bell loud to Check in
And took a few photos as a souvenir. Uh... No, it's more like "a m e m o r y".
Phu Chi Fa
That night we went back down to sleep at the foot of the mountain. We booked accommodation called "Heuan Dok Siao". The accommodation is a two-story house.
The price is 500 baht per person, including breakfast and dinner. The accommodation is clean and tidy.
It is a bed next to each other, can sleep 5-6 people per floor, a total of about 10 people can sleep in one house.
There are two bathrooms, a water heater, no air conditioning because the weather up there is cool all year round.
After we finished our personal business and had dinner, we had to take a shot to quench the cold.
After a few shots, the weather was so hot that we had to take off our sweaters (shot = shot is drinking vodka straight).
That night we fell asleep feeling tired, cold and a little drunk...
Summary of expenses on the first day
We woke up early in the morning, following the alarm clock that we had set for 5:30 am.
We must hurry to the top of Phu Chi Fa as quickly as possible to watch the sunrise.
The atmosphere when I woke up was cool to slightly cold. We picked up our belongings to prepare ourselves.
Then he curled up in the blanket and continued to sleep. Don't... Enough!!!
We set the alarm for 5:30 am, but we didn't wake up until after 6:00 am. We didn't even change our clothes.
Without further ado, especially for me who just woke up with crusty eyes and haven't brushed my teeth.
With everyone present and accounted for (eyes half-closed), the wheels start turning...
Translation:
It took us less than half an hour to reach the foot of Phu Chi Fa. We weren't particularly excited, as we figured Phu Chi Fa would be similar to other mountains we'd visited.
We walked slowly, not talking, taking pictures like any other tourist.
It wasn't long before the sound of excited shouts began to fill the air, as we caught sight of the distant peak of the mountain.
As you approach the summit, you will see a lone mountain standing on the right side, without any companions.
I walked down alone, not knowing what I would encounter or if I would see anything different from others.
However... My decision to walk down alone that day
This allows me to show you these pictures in this chapter. : )
I walked back up and followed my friends at the very end. Looking to the right, I saw a rock at the edge of the cliff.
Translation:
So I decided to step out and stand on the edge of that small rock.
But in front of us is a steep cliff, and if we fall, we don't know if we can climb back up or survive.
Okay, here's the translation:
Alright... It's time for us to check in at Phu Chi Fa.
As we started to climb, the tip of Phu Chi Fa seemed to get closer and closer. We carefully took each step, one by one.
Tread carefully, for the fog was beginning to descend at that moment.
Some of the suns we were looking forward to seeing were unfortunately obscured.
It didn't take long for us to reach the peak of Phu Chi Fa. The atmosphere at that moment was absolutely amazing.
It was so good that it almost stopped our racing hearts.
We each receive the natural power that was created for us.
I would say that the internet connection upstairs is very strong, except for DTAC.
Can't help but check in up there.
But soon, we returned to our natural energy-receiving mode.
And think about the good things throughout the trip that has passed since the first day.
I was right to come up here...
Dense fog, pleasant atmosphere, and cool air with a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius.
However, the relative humidity was very high, making us soaking wet due to the thick fog surrounding us.
We decided to go back down, despite the protests of our hearts that wanted to stay.
But alas, there must be separation after meeting, there must be parting after meeting, it is natural...
We returned to our accommodation with a slight stuffy nose. The resort provided us with hot rice porridge.
We eat hot rice with warm steam amidst the comfortably cool air.
Some people sat and chatted, sipping hot Ovaltine coffee in a relaxed manner.
We packed our belongings, checked that all our equipment was present, and said goodbye to the resort owner.
The Black House
We retraced our steps to the outskirts of the city to admire the contrasting masterpieces of two renowned artists, Ajarn Thawan Duchanee and Ajarn Chalermchai Kositpipat.
Chiang Rai locals often have a catchy phrase on their lips: "Chalermchai builds heaven, Thawan builds hell." Why, you ask?
Let the images tell the story themselves.
How are you? It's completely different from the style of Mr. Chalermchai.
This house will be dark, dark, as if there were living things circling around this house.
Animal remains, animal skin, animal horns, anything related to animals
Almost all of them were captured and transformed into art in this house.
In addition, there are real live animals kept in the house.
The bathroom of the black house really impressed me. It's a super creative bathroom.
The interior is decorated with buffalo horns, even the tissue holder used to clean our butts.
The buffalo is still valuable and vibrant, as seen in the picture.
Most of Thawan Duchanee's paintings are created by using his hands and fingers to flick paint according to his feelings.
I am not an expert in this field, but I can still feel the emotions and stories in the images.
Or other interesting history, everything is in Google : )
Leather bags that cost tens of thousands of baht and engraving work that also costs tens of thousands of baht.
Looking at the walls, you will see paintings worth hundreds of thousands or even millions. I am very impressed by what he has done.
I walked around admiring his work until I came across this large imprint...
And at this global level, I slowly raised both hands and touched the imprint of that mark slowly.
Close your eyes and remember the dark art of the compassionate teacher through the paintings, as a source of strength for the younger generation like us.
I feel like I'm fully charged with dark energy.
I opened my hardened eyes and pulled my hand away from the imprint to pick up the buffalo horn on my left hand.
I walked outside with the sound of a boisterous roar.
The atmosphere was similar to the opening of the Bang Rachan camp. After only a few seconds,
After touching Thawan Duchanee's handprints, I must confess that I didn't feel anything at that moment.
Very ordinary, nothing impressive happened, but it felt good, strangely good.
Shortly after returning from that trip, I felt impressed and grateful for the wonderful opportunities.
At least I got to touch the handprint of Ajarn Thawan.
A few weeks later, Mr. Thawan passed away unexpectedly.
Let's observe a minute of silence to pay our respects to this National Artist...
Mae Fah Luang University
We rushed to travel to the next station tonight, which is "Doi Mae Salong".
But on the way, the route passed Mae Fah Luang University. So we planned and discussed that
We want to go down to see the most beautiful university in the country once. To see if it's really like that
While we were talking, the car slowed down and turned right.
We looked through the two rows of iron bars and found that we were in front of Mae Fah Luang University.
The two-row driver sped up without hesitation, driving into the most beautiful university in the country. It was very shady.
There are big trees on both sides of the road, the air is getting colder and colder. In a few minutes, we saw a large building standing majestically on the plateau.
And there is a pond surrounded by colorful flowers, making the university even more colorful.
The songthaew driver stopped the car. We got off without knowing which part was the one they were taking pictures of.
We all took out our phones and searched for the places we longed for, and took screenshots.
Looking to the left, I saw young freshmen students. It seems they are freshmen because they are still wearing white sneakers.
I walked in with a handsome face, and the younger student bowed to me, thinking I was a senior at the university.
I showed the captured picture to the students and asked, "What is the name of the picture you see? And how much farther do I have to walk?"
As we were walking, we were chatting and joking around, chasing each other and kicking each other's butts. We went up to the star platform.
:: We climbed the stairs to the second floor of the building.
Walk on excitedly and then turn back in the direction we came from.
The Starfield appeared miraculously...
The next destination is a dream place for many people.
"Doi Mae Salong" is waiting to greet us when we arrive...
Doi Mae Salong
:: After traveling for more than two hours, we arrived at the zero kilometer mark of Doi Mae Salong.
We don't have a place to stay yet, so we went to consult with the shopkeepers.
Including the two-row brother, we emphasize cheap!!! The answer of the three or four people who got it is "fortune teller".
The fortune teller will be standing in front with a large, thick sign, shaped like a low-rise Chinese teahouse.
We walked down and asked the staff about the price of accommodation per night per person.
Roughly translated, it means 100 baht per person, but you have to sleep in the same room.
We quickly agreed because everyone was very satisfied with the price.
Before we go for a walk around this community before sunset...
After walking for a while, it didn't seem like there was much to see, except for the tall pagoda at the top.
We were tired and lazy, so we decided not to walk up.
Because when I went to Baan Dam, the dark line entered my blood like a full tube.
Suddenly, he walked into someone's house and picked up a buffalo horn.
We didn't go to see the pagoda, so we just walked around it for a while until we came across a group of children.
They are playing football happily. Little brother, can I join you?
I've been traveling all day and now I have to plan tomorrow's trip.
We said goodbye to the children and walked back to the fortune teller to eat the food we had ordered and prepared.
Some people walked out of their accommodation to see the city at night. One of them was me.
We went into the shop and ordered hot milk and toast to eat while we relaxed and took photos together.
The atmosphere was so good that we ordered a few bottles of Spy and sat there until 10pm.
After talking to the shop owner, I was impressed by his kindness.
He is a Chinese-Thai, just like those on Doi Mae Salong.
He said that he used to work in Bangkok, but after a while he started to wonder what the point of it all was.
I didn't like what was happening, so I came back to my hometown.
Because I think that living here, life would be quite happy.
We envy you, uncle, for having a house up here and a small job that allows you to support yourself.
He said he has a son too, who is also handsome. He must be proud, huh?
He always finds a way to send money to his son who is studying in Bangkok. Every time he talks about his son,
The uncle ended the conversation by saying, "If you have the chance, come visit me next winter..."
I had a very good sleep last night. I woke up early this morning to go to the market.
Translation:
We wandered around, trying different things here and there. Sometimes we couldn't understand the vendors because some of them couldn't speak Thai.
After walking for a while and eating for a bit, I saw a bright yellow robe walking into the market.
:: Shifting their gaze back, they saw two monks in reddish-brown robes.
And there weren't many people coming to offer food to the monks, so I asked the community there why.
Oh... He was a monk 2u349@!#@$ (I don't remember what sect or anything)
Brother Ji, as our representative, walked in to offer food to the monks with vegetables and fruits.
...including the way of life of the people on Doi Mae Salong.
Tea Plantation 101
:: What time will you be going to the tea plantation? If you go late, the sun will come out and the tea plantation won't be as beautiful.
We quickly told everyone to get back in the car, carrying bags of snacks and belongings in our hands.
Yes, Tea Plantation 101 is waiting for us. We drove straight ahead, passing villages, tea plantations, and mountain ranges surrounded by trees and mist.
Soon, we saw the tea plantation sign on the left side. The two-row car with its right turn signal pulled over and parked inside the plantation.
Without hesitation, we rushed down to capture about a hundred photos of the tea plantation. We spent a long time taking photos and playing around.
Last time I did it at Doi Pha Tang, this time I'm going to do it at Tea Plantation 101. What's the big deal?
With full confidence, he told the women to turn around.
Only men will be allowed to press the shutter and arrange the lighting and scene.
He pulled down my underwear, and the picture that came out was the beautiful picture that my friends saw.
(To be honest, even I want to puke when I watch it myself 555)
And a variety of tea varieties, many of which are available at the farm. We sip tea and chat.
They tried everything the shop had to offer. Some people went home with souvenirs, while others didn't seem too interested.
We walked out of the 101 tea plantation in a daze, confused. During our visit, there were no other groups of tourists. It was just us, and us.
:: We hurriedly packed our belongings from the accommodation to head to the final destination of this trip.
Pull the blanket off, put the pillow up. Hey, did you guys forget anything? Check it out carefully.
As everyone gathered their belongings and prepared to step out of the house,
A fierce pillow and blanket fight ensued, as hilariously depicted in the picture.
To fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Doi Mae Salong before heading down below.
I ordered a hot honey milk. The honey here is real honey.
Sometimes I'm still sick, so I slowly and carefully add half a spoonful of honey to the milk at a time.
We also asked the cook and aunt to write for us. We will send this postcard back to our home.
Thank you for the good friendship. Thank you for making this trip bright every time we do something together.
Our time at Doi Mae Salong has come to an end. We get back on the bus and say goodbye to the two aunts.
The songthaew driver started the engine, shifted into first gear, and slowly let the car roll down the mountain into the valley... Oh my god!
The songthaew driver started the engine, shifted into first gear, and slowly pressed the accelerator, driving out of Doi Mae Salong at a leisurely pace.
I believe that everyone would like to come back here again. We were very impressed with this place.
As the car drove off, a voice shouted, "Stop!"
"Hey kids, four foreigners want to come down too....?" Hehehe
:: In the end, I couldn't help but go down and tease my friends in the tea plantation.
Before returning, we stopped at the first parking spot.
Summary of expenses for the last day
See you again
:: We arrived in Chiang Mai with exhausted bodies, our inspiration gone, unlike the way we came.
It was like everything was let go to the fullest with every place we went. Before returning, we paid our respects to the important ancestors of Chiang Rai.
We stopped by to send P'Bel to her accommodation. P'Bel had to continue to Chiang Mai. As for the rest of us, including four foreigners, we went all the way to the bus terminal.
Wherever we started, we ended up there as usual. The four foreigners seemed to want to continue the tour.
So we helped them out by negotiating the price of the bus ticket. We shook hands, said goodbye, and said See you next trip.
Feeling weak and tired, we went to the parking lot of Somphot Tour to wash our faces and brush our teeth.
Preparing ourselves mentally to return to real life as salarymen once again...
During our time as salarymen, we would meet up occasionally, go on trips together, and have meals together.
And the latest trip, that trip was the most brutal whitewater rafting in Thailand on a river called "Wa".
Thank you.
