Hello friends, at the end of March, I went to eat at BlueSpice & Herbs. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of Terminal 21 Shopping Center, which is very convenient to get to. You can drive there or take the BTS Skytrain to Asok Station. If you're taking the MRT subway, it's the same station, but it's called Sukhumvit Station.

This is my fourth time dining at this restaurant. Is it heavenly delicious? Not quite. There's a mix of dishes: some are incredibly tasty, some are just okay, some are meh, and some are a definite no-go for me. But what I love most about this buffet is that there's no time limit. We can savor the food, nibble at our leisure, and chat without having to shovel everything in before the clock runs out. Plus, the price is reasonable, so no sticker shock.

This buffet is served for both lunch and dinner. The price is displayed in front of the restaurant. From the day I went to eat until May 31, 2016, the price for lunch is 485 baht net, open from 12.00 - 14.30 pm. Dinner on weekdays is 520 baht net, open from 18.00 - 22.00 pm. And there is an all-day buffet on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays for 520 baht net, open from 12.00 - 22.00 pm. You can eat until you die in the restaurant for sure.

Let's take a look at what's on the menu for dinner tonight. As always, the food here changes regularly, with the exception of Japanese food, pasta, and desserts. Everything else seems to be in constant flux. All the photos were taken on my phone, and some of them may have been slightly color-adjusted. They may also look a bit messy, as I was taking photos as I went along, whenever I remembered to grab my phone.

There are a few pictures of the inside of the restaurant, as it was almost full of customers. There were a lot of reserved tables. I didn't make a reservation, but luckily we arrived at 6pm sharp, so there was still a table available.

This is the shabu counter. This menu only has pork, no beef or chicken. Each table will have a table number card. Customers can choose the ingredients, put them in a cup and place them with the table number card. Or you can stand and wait to receive it. If you leave it, the chef will put the shabu cup on top of our table number card. We can then come back and see if our order is ready. This counter does not serve.

Shrimp shumai, pork shumai, and har gow. Jum only ate pork shumai. The dough was a bit thick.

Salad has a variety of good dressings.

Pasta counter and salmon, beef and pork steak

At this counter, a staff member will be waiting to ask you what kind of pasta you would like, how you would like it cooked, and what you would like to add to it.

What kind of steak would you like, and what kind of sauce? I will then ask for your table number and bring it to you when it's ready.

Drinking water is included in the buffet. We have roselle juice, lemongrass juice, longan juice, bael fruit juice, tea, coffee, and plain water.

There is soup and bread.

Seafood galore, with New Zealand prawns and mussels

Japanese food includes raw fish, crab sticks, rice balls, shrimp tempura, and vegetables. There is also a story about raw fish.

Meat pie? Honestly, I only know pies that are bakery items. I don't know this kind of pie.

It was mashed sweet potato, so delicious that I bowed down three times. I went back for a second helping... It was all gone. I almost cried.

I didn't eat the crab fried rice, but my friend did. My friend said they didn't see any crab, only crab sticks.

There are many kinds of chili paste. We have chili paste with minced pork, chili paste with fish sauce, tofu and minced pork dip, fresh shrimp chili paste, shrimp paste chili paste served with boiled eggs.

Black pepper chicken stir-fry, it's delicious.

The sun-dried pork is delicious, but I didn't get to try the crab rangoon.

The pork larb is very bland.

Fried fish with sour cream sauce

Stir-fried vegetables with oyster sauce. I see this dish every time I come here, but I've never tried it. Hehe.

Green curry with catfish

Chicken Teriyaki

The crispy salmon salad was delicious. However, the salmon was battered and fried before being mixed with the salad dressing, which made the crispy batter soggy.

Stewed pork with prunes. This dish arrived almost at 8 pm, replacing the previous dish that was sold out.

Chicken nuggets, this menu came around 9 pm, replacing the menu that was also sold out.

The stir-fried vegetables with butter came later, and the butter was very fragrant. But the vegetables looked familiar, like twins with the stir-fried vegetables with oyster sauce.

Let's take a look at some desserts. We have Thai sweets, fruits, and everything you could wish for.

Here's a look at the small amount of food I managed to scoop up. I just realized I should have taken a picture.

Braised pork ribs with bitter melon. The pork is so tender it melts in your mouth! I love it!

The papaya salad is located at the counter in front of the restaurant door. Order and wait standing, there are no waiters to serve. The taste is delicious.

Shabu, please. Don't put eggs in it, Jum. I think the sesame ponzu dipping sauce is delicious.

The salmon steak and pork steak were just average. The center of the pork was tender, but the edges were tough for some reason.

Spaghetti with salmon, bacon, chili and garlic. It's delicious.

The Caesar salad dressing is great, it's delicious.

The tomato soup is a bit too sour, according to my friend.

Let me tell you a little bit about the raw fish. The truth is, we've been complaining among ourselves that the salmon isn't good quality. It's mushy and thin, like in this picture.

It looks better at night, as shown in the picture.

But around 9 pm, wowwwww, it looks so delicious. But my stomach is already full. I can't help but wonder why the best things have to come so late?

Sweet and refreshing fruit salad.

I love the crispy water chestnut in coconut milk because we can add our own syrup, so we can control the sweetness. And I also love that it comes with coconut cream.

The ice cream has coconut and vanilla flavors.

The chocolate fondue is on a very short stick, making it extremely difficult to dip anything in.

This pancake has a new machine. This plate is for my friend. Seeing the butter makes the fat dance.

The cake is delicious, but the texture is a bit hard.

Oh, I just remembered! We're here to celebrate our friend's birthday! Let's raise a glass and wish them a very happy birthday! May all their wishes come true!

Let's end with the damage. We ordered 3 additional cans of Coke, and the total is as you see it.

Note: The taste of the food mentioned in this post is my personal opinion. The taste may vary depending on individual preferences. However, if you have the opportunity to try it, I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
