Hello everyone, this is our second travel review. Last time we went on a solo trip to Chiang Rai, and this time, during the hot season, we decided to escape to the southern sea...
Let me start by introducing this trip. Last March, we received a call from (P' Joe, the owner of Phurita Resort and Baan Piang Por) in Lipe. He offered us a free 3-day, 2-night diving trip to Lipe. We immediately said yes! without knowing when we would have the time, who would go with us, or how we would get there. All we knew was that we had to go! And Lipe is in Satun province, haha. The trip was already hilarious from the start.
After that, we started to trick our friends into coming with us by saying, "Hey! It's free, man." And then we got our fellow sufferers with us 555. We started to study how to travel to Koh Lipe, which if you are traveling from Bangkok, you can take a flight to Hat Yai or Trang. The plane must arrive at both airports no later than 9:30 am. Because there will be a van to take you to Pak Bara Pier, Satun Province in time for the first boat to the island, which is 11:30 am. When we studied the travel routes here and there, we booked everything (we traveled from Khon Kaen and chose to land at Trang Airport). Ready to go...
Day 0, April 27, 2016, 11:00 PM.
We started our journey from Khon Kaen to Bangkok to Don Mueang Airport. We chose to arrive in Bangkok no later than 5 am because we had to catch a flight to Trang at 7.20 am. Our second trip to the south was about to begin! We also promised ourselves that there would be no running on this trip! Because we had planned our time perfectly, there would be no mistakes! 5555 So we're going to bed now because we have to travel tomorrow and we're sure to be tired all day...
Ready to go!
**Day 1, April 28, 2016, 5:20 AM**
And then we arrived at Don Mueang Airport. Oh my god, there were so many people!
After that, we checked in and loaded our luggage. We chose to travel with Nok Air, the airline of the "Nok Nok" people. Oops, not that! Nok Air, every flight has a smile. What's up with that! Let's get to the point. Haha. We chose a flight departing from Don Mueang at 7:20 am and arriving in Trang at 8:35 am. We had already contacted a van from the airport to Pak Bara Pier.
Before entering the gate, there was a problem. Our friend's bag didn't pass the security check. They said there was a folding knife. What?! We scanned it 2-3 times and it still didn't pass. We searched and searched again, but there was nothing. We were confused! We were wondering if we would make it to Lipe. But in the end, we found the cause of the problem. It was the "Xiaomi" camera. How does it look like a folding knife? But we understand that the airport staff were just doing their job. After we passed this point, we went to wait at the gate.
On the way to the gate, we happened to see the sunrise. Let me share a picture with you.
Our gate is Gate 44.
After a while... the bird that will take us to the southern land has arrived! Woohoo!
In the meantime, I sat and took photos while waiting.
I took a picture of the clouds on the plane, but the window was really cloudy. 555
8:30 AM
We have arrived at Trang Airport! As soon as we arrived, we called the van company that will take us to Pak Bara Pier and told them that we were ready. Hehe.
9:00 AM
The van we had booked picked us up at the airport, but we still had to wait for other passengers who were arriving on AirAsia at Trang Airport around 9:30 AM. For this trip, we used the services of KK travel&tour (contact numbers 075-211198, 086-4781507), which has a van service to the pier. They pick up passengers in the city center before picking up passengers at the airport. They also confirmed with us that we would definitely make it to the first ferry! We also booked a return bus ticket from Pak Bara to Trang. 5555
After that, we set off to Pak Bara Pier, which is about 100 kilometers from the airport and takes no more than 2 hours to get there. Along the way, there are rubber trees everywhere, which is very beautiful. But we are very tired, so let's take a nap for a while.
11:00 AM
We're starting to get worried because we haven't reached the port yet. Will we make it to the boat? It's another 20 kilometers away. We're also afraid that we won't make it to the boat because we have to contact the shipping company that Joe told us to reach the port before we can tell them which company to pick up the boat tickets from. It's really nerve-wracking. We called Joe twice to confirm that we will definitely make it to the first boat and to ask which company to contact. Joe insisted that we have to step on the port first before calling him again. I mean... will we make it?
11:20 AM.
We have arrived at the pier safely. We immediately called Brother Joe, who replied that the resort staff would call us back to inform us. We were very nervous, wondering if we would make it in time.
In conclusion, we went with Adang Sea Tour & Travel. We rushed over and gave our names, but the staff at the front desk looked confused and said there was no such name. We were in trouble! So we asked them to contact Phuri Ta Resort again, and finally got our tickets. We got tickets for the Ploy Siam company boat, and we also got our return tickets.
We then rushed to the pier as quickly as possible, but we had to check in before we could board the boat.
When we check-in, we will receive a yellow card to use when boarding the boat.
And then we continued running because we were afraid of missing the boat!! 555 In the end, we made it to the boat, being the last 2 people to board! 5555 (At that point, my friend must have been complaining in their heart, "Didn't you say we wouldn't have to run on this trip!!" 555)
***After a long introduction, let's get to the informative part. There are two types of boats that go to Lipe: one that goes directly to Lipe Island, taking about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and another that goes to Tarutao Island and Khai Island before going to Lipe, taking about 2 hours and 20 minutes.***
Of course! We came all the way here, so we have to make the most of it! So we chose option 2! 555 Each island, the boat will let us stop for about 15 minutes to take pictures, so we have to hurry up and take as many pictures as possible! I mean, 15 minutes, who can finish their tour in time? Just breathing takes 5 minutes, right? 555
And then we arrived at the first island, which is Tarutao Island. Before entering the island, we had to pay an entrance fee of 40 baht per person. After that, we had to rush to take pictures where there were no people first because the first thing everyone did when they arrived was to take a picture with... the sign!! Hey!! We're at the sea, so we have to take pictures of the sea, everyone!! Rightttttt? Give me some noise, quickkkkkk!!
Relaxing by the sea.
A picture of someone taking off their shoes to walk on the beach! 555
After that, we set off for Koh Kai, also known as Koh Kai Tao, because during the egg-laying season, many sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs, filling the white beach.
I see a small tunnel to survive.
The fine white sand...
And then we took pictures around Koh Tao until the time was up. The crew honked the horn to call us back to the boat.
1:40 PM.
Oh my god! I can see Koh Lipe in the distance. We're almost at our destination!
And then we arrived at the middle of the sea of Lipe Island, where we had to take a long-tailed boat to the island again. Because they did not allow the construction of a permanent pier on Lipe Island, we paid 50 baht per person for a long-tailed boat to go to the island.
The place we went to was Pattaya Beach, which also has a walking street.
We then called Joe to let him know that we had arrived and asked him how to get to the accommodation. Joe told us, "I'll have a man in a purple shirt and a black hat waiting for you at the front of the walking street sign." When we arrived on the island, we found the man at the front of the walking street. He took us on a sidecar to our accommodation, which was located on Sunset Beach.
This is our vehicle for travel.
And then we set off!
Upon arriving at Phurita Resort, Joe treated us to lunch, which consisted of simple, everyday dishes. But the atmosphere was amazing! We were right by the sea, and life was good!
A relaxed and light atmosphere by the sea
The first meal on Koh Lipe...
During lunch (at 2pm), Joe told us some general information about Koh Lipe, which we don't remember much (let's ask Google! 555). He also talked about why he gave us free accommodation, a diving trip, 5 meals, and boat fare to the island (which is very expensive). Joe has just built a hostel called Baan Pieng Por because people often think that accommodation in Koh Lipe is very expensive. However, there are hostels with affordable prices that anyone can stay in. He also wants to promote hostel accommodation to Thai people because he admits that some Thai people may not like having to share a room and a bathroom. After lunch, we sat around for a while and then went to check in. We stayed at Baan Pieng Por, a hostel located near Phrurita Resort.
At 3:00 PM, we arrived at our accommodation, "Baan Piang Por". It's a small hostel with about 20 rooms. Normally, the hostels we know are shared dorms with 8-12 people, right? But here, each room has only 2 people. There are also separate male and female shared bathrooms. There is a common area where you can lie down and watch TV. There is coffee, Ovaltine, and snacks available 24 hours a day. You can go and eat whenever you want. 555 After we checked in and put our things in the room, we went to sit and take pictures around Baan Piang Por.
The sign in front of the entrance is also cute and stylish in another way.
As you walk inside, you will find many small houses lined up.
As for us, we stayed at house "F".
The room has two beds, a power outlet, and only one fan....(which was a bit hot on the first day, I felt like one fan wasn't enough haha) We think that if you're not someone who gets hot easily or doesn't need a lot of amenities, Baan Piang Po is a good option for a relaxing stay on Koh Lipe.
The common area of the accommodation offers snacks and drinks all the time. There is also a relaxation corner.
Let's go explore the bathroom… in front of the women's bathroom, which we can't enter, and the men's bathroom is on the left.
Next, let's move on to the men's bathroom.
The shower and toilet areas are clearly separated.
And the pictures inside the bathroom, where the water pressure is very strong. It's so refreshing to take a shower here!! And the water isn't brackish either, unlike the usual resorts by the sea where the water is always a bit salty.
Hold on a sec....
4:00 PM.
We contacted a sidecar to go up to Phurita Resort, planning to go kayaking and snorkeling. But when we arrived... the resort staff said, "The water is low, you can't paddle." Sad.... Oh no!!! What are we going to do? I can't think of anything... The sun is so hot that if we go out, we'll turn into ashes. No way! So let's change the plan! Let's just sleep by the sea! There are many hammocks to sleep on in front of the resort. So we slept for a while, planning to wait for the sun to set before taking pictures by the sea... which our friend slept seriously! 555 As for us, we walked along the beach hoping to take pictures of the sea and maybe find some sea creatures to take pictures of....
Oh, beautiful sea... so beautiful, so beautiful....
The beach in front of the resort
As we walked along, we came across our first victim, a sea crab! To get a shot, we had to climb over rocks, wade into the sea, and slowly approach it quietly. It took a lot of effort to get this picture, lol.
Then there's a picture of a bird... another bird!! What the heck is this? And then they ask what kind of bird it is? I don't know. At first, I looked at it from afar and it was very still, I thought it was a statue. But when I got closer, it flew away immediately. It went away and never came back, so I only got this picture.
5:30 p.m.
The sun was starting to set, so we decided to wake up our friend and go take some pictures by the sea. We also wanted to watch the sunset, because the beach we were on was called Sunset Beach (which means sunset). (Why am I translating this? Haha)
While we were taking pictures on the beach, three dogs ran towards us from nowhere, barking at us from afar. They even ran straight towards us. Ask me what I thought at that moment? No!! So I immediately ran into the sea as far as I could without thinking! 555 The dogs didn't follow, but they stood guard on the beach. After about 10 minutes, they walked back and disappeared. My friend and I were like, "Um... how are we going to get back?" We were standing on a rocky outcrop that was very slippery. It was a struggle to get back to the beach! Both slippery rocks! My hands were holding the camera, I couldn't drop it! 555 That was the beginning of the war with the dogs on this island! (Speaking like this, it means it wasn't just once, right? The answer is yes! 5555) After that, we started taking pictures again, and we were also suspicious of the back! But as we were taking pictures, the camera battery ran out, followed by the mobile phone battery. Oh no!! What should I do? It's okay, I'll come back and take pictures after diving tomorrow. Let's enjoy the atmosphere first. So we went to sit on the balcony of the restaurant in front of the beach to wait for the sunset and have dinner.
However, when the sun was about to set, it was so beautiful that I tried to turn on the camera…. Oh my god, I was able to take 1-2 pictures, so I was able to capture the sunset for you to see….
During that time, we saw the resort staff preparing the area by the beach, which looked very romantic. We were wondering who it was for, as they were going to be sitting there to watch the sunset on the beach. Later, the resort staff came over and called us to sit there. It was amazing! The atmosphere was great. We got to eat dinner while watching the sunset. It was the best! If you come with your partner, it would be even better!
This is our dinner...
In addition, there were 2 other tourists, who seemed to be a couple, sitting next to us watching the sunset. It made me even more jealous!!
After we finished eating, we took a car back home. We took a shower and rested for a while to prepare for walking street at night. Every road, no matter which resort you go to, will lead to walking street.
Walking Street is full of a wide variety of goods, including food and necessities such as souvenir shops, pharmacies, restaurants, and chill bars, etc. We have captured the atmosphere for you to enjoy...
Fresh seafood... But we just ate, I don't think we can eat anymore. Plus it's a buffet, 490 baht per person.
There is a fire baton show on the beach in Pattaya.
After walking for a while, I started to feel hungry, so I decided to buy some light snacks, which were "roti" (is roti a light snack?). There were many roti shops, so we decided to choose the Yoohoo shop, which had a grandmother sitting in front of the shop calling out to customers. She would say "Yoohoo" every time a customer walked past the shop. The grandmother was so cute that we decided to choose this shop. 555
Delicious banana-Nutella roti
And then came the homemade ice cream, which was 100 baht a cup. Wow, wow, wow! Let's eat it! But it was really delicious, haha. 5555
After we finished walking around Walking Street, we walked back to our accommodation because we didn't dare to call a taxi. We were a little shy of the resort's driver. On the way back, we started a round 2 war with the dog. While we were walking back to our accommodation, a dog ran out from a dark corner and barked at us. It ran straight towards us. We ran into a nearby bar for help... but the foreigner in the bar said, "It's friendly!" Then the foreigner walked over to play with the dog. The dog wagged its tail and played with the foreigner. What was it chasing me for earlier??? ==' After the foreigner distracted the dog, we quickly walked out of the bar and went back to our accommodation! We were very suspicious of our backs while walking! 5555 When we arrived at the accommodation, we took a shower and went to bed to rest. We have a diving trip all day tomorrow. For today... good night, sweet dreams....
Day 2, April 29, 2016, 7:00 a.m.
The alarm clock woke us up to take a shower and get ready (must prepare sun block, alovelar, after sun!) for the diving trip! Yay! Brother John made an appointment with us at 9 am at the beach in front of the resort. We planned to go up to Phurita at around 8 am to have breakfast, which will be rice porridge + fruit served with coffee/ovaltine. After breakfast, we went down to the beach and met with Brother Na, a staff member at the resort, Brother Abang, the boat driver who would take us diving, and Brother Ann and Brother Meya, who were lucky like us to get a free diving trip to Lipe. When everyone was ready… we started our trip!!
Going out to touch the horizon...5555
The first place we stopped was Hin Ngam Island, where Abang wanted us to take pictures before the island got wet! 5555 This island is beautiful, as its name suggests, it's all rocks! The rocks are also slippery, so you need to wear shoes and walk carefully.
As soon as we finished taking pictures, we went straight to our first dive spot, which was behind Hin Ngam Island. The first place we stopped at was called the front of Hin Ngam Island. As soon as the boat stopped, we jumped into the water and started taking pictures underwater with our cameras.
We spent quite a lot of time here, and it really drained us. I didn't think I would dive so far, because our boat was parked at the very end. After diving for a while, I looked up and realized I was already close to the boat... But little did I know, more boats kept coming and parking next to ours, so before I knew it, I was very far from the boat! 555 It took me a while to get back to the boat, and I was completely out of breath. 555
After that, we went diving at Jabang Channel, which is home to the 7-colored coral. We had to swim for another 100 meters or so, and we swam for about 10 minutes. We looked up... Oh my god, why are we still in the same place?! The current was constantly pushing us, and it was strong. We were running out of energy, so we couldn't go anywhere... 555 Jabang must have seen our situation and felt sorry for us, so he had to get into the water and drag us to the area with the 7-colored coral. We finally saw the 7-colored coral. It was amazing! It was more than 7 colors! 555 After admiring the coral for a while, we went back to the boat...
I've only dived through 2 spots and I'm already exhausted lol. The guide said there are still 3-4 more spots to go. Ugh, I'm tired and out of energy...
After visiting the Jabang Canal, we went swimming at Hin Khao Island, which Joe told us was about to open as a new diving spot. This area has both coral reefs and soft corals, but we had to dive to the other side of the island. We thought, well, since we're already here, it would be a shame not to check it out.
Abang is trying to point at that place.
So I jumped in and tried to swim around the island to the other side, but after only 10 minutes, I was itching all over my body! I couldn't stand it, so I got out of the water immediately! 5555 I found out later from P'Na and A'Bang that it was sea wasps, and that you have to rub coconut oil on yourself before going in the water to protect yourself. I was like, "Oh well... it's okay. I'll have another chance and I won't miss it again!!" 5555
After finishing our dive at Hin Ngam Island, we stopped for lunch at Adang Island, which is a very large island. There is a pine forest where tourists can camp, and there is also a national park office there. My brother had prepared a lunch box from the resort for us to have lunch and relax at Adang Island for about an hour.
The black sand beach is also strangely beautiful.
Strolling around, I came across a squirrel. It was so small and cute!
After our lunch break, we set off to our next diving spot, Koh Tabang. This area is known for its blue coral, starfish, and a wide variety of fish... Don't ask me which ones, because I have no idea... 5555 I don't have any photos from this spot to share, as the ones I took were too dark and not very nice.
After that, we set off for Koh Kra, a small island near Sunrise Beach, Koh Lipe. You can paddle a kayak from Koh Lipe to this island. It's not far away, and there's a small beach where you can relax. There are shallow coral reefs where you can snorkel, and there are a lot of fish! Of course, we went snorkeling again so as not to regret it later. But we got out of the water and went to lie down on the beach of the island. 555 My friends and older siblings went to snorkel on the other side of the coral reef by holding onto Abang's lifebuoy...what? Why didn't you tell me earlier that you were going to let me hold onto a lifebuoy to go snorkeling? Oh, Abang! 555
After finishing our dive, we returned to shore around 3 pm. I needed to go back and rest for a while. In the late afternoon, I'll come back to take more photos of the sunset. The last time, my camera battery died, so the pictures weren't very good...
4:30 PM.
We woke up and got dressed, ready to go take pictures at Sunset Beach again. We also waited to watch the sunset. This time, we brought the resort's dog as a companion to protect us from any stray dogs we might encounter, like the one we met yesterday. Let's get to know the resort's dog now...
The first dog, "Heng Heng," is a brown Thai dog with no collar. 555
The second one is "Nong Lucky", a brown Thai dog with a green collar (actually there is another one that is brown too, but with a red collar, named "Nong Maruai", I didn't take a picture of it).
The resort's dogs are super friendly, they ran up to greet us at the entrance and even escorted us to the beach. We spent the rest of the time taking photos on the beach.
Running by the sea together...
Take a picture standing on a rock. It took a lot of effort to climb up, and I got a lot of wounds in return... 555
As the sun began to set, I eagerly prepared my camera to capture the moment. However, a cloud suddenly appeared, blocking my view. Oh no!
After that, the resort staff brought us the food menu. We chose our dinner and wanted to sit by the beach again. The staff prepared the place for us, and we had dinner by the beach again. But it got dark too early today. Sigh... what a pity! This time, the camera had a battery! 555
After finishing our meal, we planned to go to sleep because we were exhausted from the day's activities. We also wanted to wake up early the next morning to watch the sunrise at Sunrise Beach, but we were worried about oversleeping. However, our friend insisted on having another round of roti! 555 So, we decided to try a different restaurant this time. We also needed to buy some band-aids for the wounds on my feet. I was a bit too adventurous and ended up with a few scratches. 5555
We left the resort by borrowing a bicycle from the resort (actually, it was available for borrowing since yesterday, but we were too lazy to cycle, so we didn't borrow it! 5555) We cycled along the path to Walking Street again to eat roti, buy a band-aid, and buy souvenirs before returning the next morning. Then we chose this roti shop, a roti shop with a lot of people waiting in line. It must be really good, so let's give it a try!
The roti we chose today is a simple egg roti, but it's delicious.
But I forgot that we didn't bring any money with us, and my friend only had 200 baht left! Oh no! Where are we going to get money to buy souvenirs? 5555 Well, let's just buy what we can afford! 5555 After eating roti and buying souvenirs, we cycled back to our accommodation without the dogs on the island to bother us... 5555
Thank you to the supporters for diving and rock climbing today…. 555
Upon reaching our accommodation, we immediately fell asleep, exhausted from our all-day diving trip. For tonight, we'll sleep soundly... zzz
Day 3, April 30, 2016, 3:00 AM.
While I was sleeping soundly (meaning sleeping happily), a storm + thunder + rain woke me up. I thought to myself, "Oh no! I'm going to watch the sunrise in the morning! Am I not going to see it? No!!! This is my last day here!!! But the most important thing is, if it rains heavily like this... how will I get back to shore? Will my flight be delayed? And all my plans will be ruined for sure! Nooooooooo!!! TT But when it was 5 am, the rain stopped... I mean... hey, that's great! I can get back to shore! But about watching the sunrise, I won't give up! I'll go see it anyway, whether the sky is open or not! Otherwise, I'll regret it later!
5:40 AM.
We set off from our accommodation to Sunrise Beach by cycling from the accommodation to the beach. We cycled through the sea gypsy village and then cycled to the front of Koh Adang School, where there were signs all the way. We arrived at Sunrise Beach at 5.50 am, when the sun had not yet risen, but the sky was starting to open up a little. So we decided to wait and watch the sunrise.
Around 6:20 AM, the sun began to rise, greeting us. However, there were some clouds blocking it, but it was still quite beautiful. If there were no clouds, it would have been even more stunning!
After that, we returned to our accommodation to shower, change clothes, and pack our belongings in preparation for our return to the mainland. We had to catch the 9:30 AM boat to make it in time for the only van to Trang, which departed at 11:30 AM. Once we had finished packing, we cycled up to the Phurita to have breakfast and check out of the hotel.
After finishing our meal, we asked the resort staff to drive us to Pattaya Beach on a sidecar. We then boarded a long-tail boat to a platform in the middle of the sea, before transferring to a speedboat that took us back to the shore at Pak Bara Pier. On the way to Pattaya Beach, we saw a group of dogs lying down in front of a 7-Eleven store, seemingly unbothered by the passing tourists. However, as soon as our vehicle passed by, the dogs all stood up and started barking, even chasing after our vehicle as if they were escorting us to the beach! I'm not sure what it is about me and the dogs on this island, but it was definitely a memorable experience! (This concludes the saga of my war with the dogs before returning home.)
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a multitude of tourists waiting to board the long-tail boat to the middle of the sea. The boat ride costs an additional 50 baht per person (not included in the Lipe ferry ticket). Boats depart from Lipe at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM.
Goodbye, Lipe....
This family is so lovely.
At 10:45 a.m., we safely returned to the shore. During the boat ride, we slept like a log. Haha. When we arrived at the pier, we called the van company in Trang to let them know that we had arrived and where we would like to be picked up. They sent a staff member to take us to the van, which was full of foreigners heading to Koh Lanta or Surat Thani. Everyone's luggage was huge, and the driver crammed it all in, leaving us with barely any room to sit, let alone move. But did we care? No way! We fell asleep as soon as we got in the van and didn't wake up until we were almost in Trang. We didn't get off at the airport because our flight from Trang was at 6:05 p.m. with Nok Air again.
Every atom is packed tight...
At 13:00, we arrived in Trang. The van driver dropped us off in front of Trang Railway Station, where there are many tour companies. We chose a company near the van stop to rent a motorbike to drive around Trang while waiting for our flight. We asked a friend who had been in Trang for two weeks for recommendations. (He should know Trang well, but his answer was... "You have to go to 3rd place! It's amazing!" We pinned it, but for other places, we'll ask around... What??? Haha) But first, let me tell you that the grilled pork restaurant in Trang city closes at 11:00 am, so it's out of the question. The dim sum restaurant also closes early in the morning, so that's out too. I guess all that's left is the rice shop... haha. So, we planned our trip to go to Trang Christian Church -> Thao Ma Kong Yeh Shrine -> Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahisorn Phakdi Monument -> buy souvenirs and eat at Richy Restaurant -> relax and eat cake while waiting for our flight at 3rd place.
After planning our trip, we set off using GPS to find each location, which were not far apart.
Our first stop was Trang Church, a historical site in Trang Province that is over 100 years old. We took photos for about 10-15 minutes before heading to the Thao Ma Kong Yeh Shrine.
The Tha Ma Klong Ye shrine is famous for its very accurate fortune sticks, and whatever you wish for will be granted. We went in to pay our respects and make a wish, and then set off for our next destination because we were starting to get hungry.... 5555
The place we visited was the monument of Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahisorn Phakdi, the former governor of Trang. The monument is located in a public park near Robinson Trang. The park is very shady and is perfect for picnics or just relaxing.
The motto of Trang Province (oops, the vowel "ae" slipped out a little, haha)
It's really shady, there are so many trees.
The text you provided is already in English. Therefore, no translation is required.
Then we started to feel hungry and had lunch(?) at Richy Restaurant. We immediately ordered food without further ado. 555 Because we haven't eaten anything since breakfast except for rice porridge at Puri Tara Resort on Koh Lipe. It's now past 2 pm, so we ordered Pad Thai with crispy wontons, which tasted okay, but the wontons were too oily for me....
Our friend opted for the Richy Fried Rice, an American-style fried rice with seafood as a side dish.
After lunch, we went to choose souvenirs. We got young coconut cake and taro salted egg mooncakes. This shop also has homemade ice cream with a wide variety of flavors. But the highlight is the mango with salt ice cream, which is very spicy and delicious. 555 Then we set off for the 3rd place shop, which was about an hour away. The shop is located near the dugong roundabout.
But when we arrived at the shop, it was in this condition....
Yes!! It's closed. What should I do now? I have more than an hour before I have to go to the temple. What should I do? If I go to the airport now, there's nothing to do. So I decided to go to Robinson to wait! 5555 I used to say, "Robinson is everywhere, why would I go there?" But I have to go because I have nowhere else to go.... 5555
Before leaving, let's take a picture with the dugong roundabout...
After walking around Robinson for a while, I started to get bored, so I searched for a coffee shop on Google. I found Green House, which is located near the clock tower, which is also close to the train station where we rented a car.

After a while, it was time to board the plane. So we went to the tour company to return the car and hired a car to take us to the airport, which cost only 100 baht per person.
Upon arriving at Trang Airport, we checked in and loaded our luggage, waiting to board our flight back home... I don't want to go back yet... but it's time to go home, isn't it? TT Bye-bye.... I'll be back again!
The cloud work on the plane is also here... this time the glass is clear 5555
At 7:10 p.m., we arrived at Don Mueang Airport, which was about 15 minutes earlier than scheduled.
And then we parted ways with our friends because they were going to stay in Bangkok. But we had to go back to school because the new semester starts on May 2nd. We took the A1 airport bus, which runs every 7 minutes. The bus stop is located at one of the exits, but I can't remember which one. 555 The fare is 30 baht, and the journey from Don Mueang to Mo Chit takes about 30-40 minutes. We booked a bus back home safely... As soon as we got on the bus, we fell asleep like a log. 555 For today, it's... goodbye, sweet dreams, and good night.
In summary, this trip was incredibly fun! We went diving and visited the beach, just as we had planned. We even made it to one of the most expensive islands in Thailand. We traveled by almost every mode of transportation imaginable, from buses and airplanes to vans and boats. The only thing missing was a train ride! 5555
