Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
This trip, due to having to travel to work in Phuket for several days, I didn't have much time to prepare. When I had free time, I organized and printed all the documents, separating them into categories. This included round-trip tickets for Airasia (already printed and checked in), booking information, places I wanted to visit, and notes from reviews I read on Pantip. When I had free time, I would look for more information. By the time I finished everything, it was already 2 am.
Okay, I'm ready. This time I'm flying directly from Phuket Airport to Singapore. I booked the flight about 2 weeks in advance and it cost around 3,xxx baht, but I don't remember the exact amount.
Before heading to The Coral Executive Lounge, I hadn't eaten anything this morning. I've been busy working all week. While driving to Phuket Airport, I called to activate True's Roaming service. It's Data Roaming Unlimited for only 99 baht per day. Receiving calls and making calls cost 8 baht each, which is cheaper than buying a SIM card in Singapore. However, it took almost 3 hours to activate the roaming service. I recommend planning ahead.
Boarded the plane. Today, Airasia was kind enough to choose a seat for me that I liked. I didn't pay to choose a seat, but both on the way there and back, I got a window seat so I could see the beautiful view.
I brought all my documents with me on the way, so I sat down to do some homework and jot down some notes. Here's what I wrote (it might contain some bad language):[Spoil] Click to view hidden text I woke up at 5:00 AM after setting three alarms. I finally woke up at 5:15 AM. I took a shower but didn't wash my hair. It only took me 3 minutes and 14 seconds to shower. I might as well have just walked through the water. I was so sleepy because I didn't finish planning and packing until after 2:00 AM, and then I tossed and turned for a while. I arrived at Phuket Airport around 7:00 AM. I stopped by 7-Eleven and ate a bland fish burger to save money for the food I would have to buy on the plane. Part of me wanted to order chicken and basil on the plane, but I was worried that the person next to me would get hungry too. Today, there was a problem with checking in at the AirAsia airport. I printed my documents at the self-service check-in kiosk, but the documents said I had to go to the counter to show my travel documents. The officer said it might be because my passport was new and my old one had just expired. The immigration line was super long, even longer than the line for Pad Thai at Tiptara. I was in a hurry and had to pee, so as soon as I got on the plane and heard the "Please fasten your seat belt" announcement, I fell asleep immediately.
Before the plane lands, let me share some interesting facts. Many people might think that Singapore is just one island, but in reality, it's surrounded by about 63 other islands. The main island itself has a total area of 682 sq km, which is slightly larger than Phuket Island, which has an area of about 543 sq km.
In 1968, former Singapore Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew had the idea of increasing green spaces, as Singapore only had 1 million trees at the time. Lee Kuan Yew encouraged more friends in parks and recorded trees in a computer system to check every year to prevent illegal logging. Isn't that cool?
We have arrived at Singapore Changi Airport, which is truly magnificent and lives up to its reputation. Many of my friends who have just arrived may be a little confused, as it can be quite overwhelming with both arriving and departing passengers sharing the same space. This can lead to some confusion. The restrooms are really clean, and I just took a big dump (poo).
Do you know which country has the best airport in the world? The answer is the airport I'm standing in right now.
Just received the World's Best Airport award (Skytrax 2016). Cool, huh?
Here it is, the number 1 check-in spot in Singapore, "Kinetic Rain" or "Kinetic Rain".
Forged from 1,216 drops of molten bronze, the result of a collaboration between numerous artists and programmers, and taking 20 months to complete.
It's a beautiful movement. Anyone who walks by will definitely stop to watch.
Read the information and watch the clip at http://travel.mthai.com/world-travel/32487.html
As you may know, Singapore has a metro system called MRT. The system is quite similar to the one in Thailand. So, I went ahead and topped up my card with $20. There is a card fee, so I recommend topping up gradually in $10 increments. When I flew back, I tried to get a refund, and it was possible, but they didn't refund the $5 card fee. Plan accordingly.
Today I didn't take the MRT. I'll try it on the way back. Let's try taking a taxi. Let's go to China Town Hostel at 1: Adler Hostel.
Adler is a top-rated luxury hostel in Singapore (arguably the most luxurious). In Thailand, there are only 3 luxury hostels. Adler is located in the heart of Chinatown. The building is a white colonial building decorated in a classic style. Previously, the building was a pawnshop and a teahouse. It took about 18 months to renovate the building using skilled craftsmen before it became a hostel. The lobby is truly beautiful.
Part of what makes this place so impressive is the staff. They are friendly, helpful, and very informative. Another thing that deserves praise is the staff's impeccable attire. They are dressed to the nines, with shirts and pins that look very sharp.
Staying here has everything you need, including towels. The price may be a little higher than other places, but for comfort and experience, I'm willing to pay!
Want to see it now, right? Let's go to the 3rd floor.
Wow, the room is huge and very high! The sleeping bunks are three stories high (I've never seen anything like it before). I think there must be 24-30 beds in the room.
Mine is a bunk bed. The mattress is quite large. There are two pillows and one towel made of very good quality materials. It's comparable to a 3-4 star hotel. They even provide earplugs. There is a storage compartment at the end of the bed with a lock that you can set yourself. The bed is soft and very comfortable to sleep on.
To give you a better idea of the overall picture, I have taken the liberty of using pictures from the hotel's website. Now, let's move on to the bathroom.
Is it beautiful? It's very clean.
The bathroom has a rain shower with hot water. I really liked the smell of the soap and shampoo. It was a good quality shampoo that didn't dry out my hair like the shampoo at most hostels.
We've been walking for so long that we're starving. Let's go find something delicious to eat, brothers and sisters.
Check-in 2: Maxwell Food Centre. When in Singapore, who wouldn't want to try the delicious and affordable food at Maxwell?
I've seen many reviews with long queues, but when I went, there were few people. I went in the afternoon at three o'clock, and many items were sold out.
Pay first and then queue up, please. The price for this job is $5, 130 baht. It's not expensive in Singapore.
The chicken is very tender, but I believe many people would say it's not delicious because the dipping sauce isn't as spicy as in Thailand. However, the chicken itself is really good. They don't use a knife to flatten it, you know.
It's time to move on.
I've been eyeing this place, it looks amazing. Let's meet up later tonight.
We have arrived at our third check-in point, the Sri Mariamman Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore. It's beautiful and unique.
Check-in Point 4 China Town Food Street
It's a very lively area, full of tourists with restaurants lining the streets. The food is also diverse and tempting.
Anyone feeling lonely, come sit around here. It's fun and will cheer you up.
Walk past another alley and you will find a commercial district. Cheap souvenirs. As far as I have traveled throughout Singapore, souvenirs must be bought here. It's too expensive to buy at the airport. Really can't buy it. Check-in point 5 Tooth Relic Buddha Temple is translated into Thai as "Wat Khieo Kaew".
After searching for information on various websites, I thought it was just an ordinary temple. But when I actually saw it, it was a beautiful temple. On the upper floor of the temple, there is a stupa containing the relics of the Buddha's teeth, made of gold weighing over 320 kilograms.
Check-in point 6 Red Dot Museum
The day I went to visit was a special free admission day, and I even got a thick, nice-looking book by downloading the Red Dot application.
This one must be several thousand.
Are you tired of it yet? Actually, I took a lot of pictures and cut out a lot of them, but I still want to try to post from many angles because everyone might have different preferences. I'll keep it for information in case it's useful. I've been sitting here for 4-5 hours now, so I'm going to bed. Please follow me. It's just the beginning, don't leave me in the middle of the road.
I'm going to find a place to sleep tonight.
Let's continue our journey. The next destination is something I'm really looking forward to, because it's a famous Singaporean dish: "Chilli Crab", a giant crab drenched in chilli sauce.
This time, our target is a famous restaurant called "Jumbo". My Singaporean friend told me that it's very popular and people have to wait for hours. So, my friend made a reservation for us. Don't be late!
And then we arrived at the "Jumbo" restaurant after walking to another restaurant, the wrong branch nearby. Jumbo is located at Clarke Quay. Due to hunger, gluttony and greed, I will order now. I opened the menu and saw the big crab menu. What kind of crab do you want to wrap?
Ta-da! Ta-daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
The crab is very big, big enough for three people to eat. But the price is pretending to be dead for a bit at $80, or a beautiful round number in Thai baht at 2,080 baht.
It's very expensive, but I probably won't come to Singapore many times in my life. To experience it, I'll just eat instant noodles when I get back to Thailand.
Tips : When dining at Jumbo, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance as there are always many people waiting. Some people wait for hours. At Jumbo, once we are seated, the staff will cover our bags with a cloth and provide us with a bib to tie around our necks and a waterproof tablecloth. The staff can be a bit difficult to talk to, so it is recommended to read the menu and make a decision before entering. If you hesitate or ask too many questions, you may get a disapproving look, as the restaurant is very popular and has limited time.
Our 7th Check-in point is here at Clarke Quay.
A super chill spot to eat and drink, with tons of restaurants and bars. Even if you're not hungry, you can just come and relax, make a music video by the river, or enjoy the live music at night. This place is a must-visit!
Check-in Point 8 Ministry of Communications and Information Building
The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, just a few steps from Clarke Quay.
This building is characterized by its colorful, eye-catching windows. It reminds me of the song "I Will Survive" (why?). Just kidding.
Crossing the street to stand under the building and have a friend take a picture from the other side while cars are driving by would be pretty cool, chic, and stylish.
My eyes are getting heavy, I'm so tired. The hot and humid weather in Singapore is really getting to me. To be honest, my underwear is soaked. I need to duck into a mall for a bit.
My bad habit is trying Starbucks. Not because of corruption, but because I believe Starbucks can tell the character of the country. With both service and smiles, each country is really different. The price of coffee and sandwiches here is comparable to the outside. If you come to visit for many days and want to play safe, entering Starbucks is not bad.
In Singapore, due to the well-planned city layout, there are many roads, bridges, and a lot of space. A must-check-in spot is the tunnel under the bridge.
Check-in point 9, a tunnel full of art. From the 3-day stay, it seems that I have passed a total of 5 tunnels, each with different decorations and art. Some even have people playing music. When they found out that I was Thai, they even sang a Thai song by Bird, "Easy, Easy, If you like it, let's be together." Are they flirting with me today? We planned to go see the light show at Marina Bay, but after traveling all day, we got lost. It's so far away.
When we got lost, coupled with the urge to poop from eating crab, we hailed a taxi. Many people might think that taxis here are expensive, but they're not that expensive. Try choosing a regular taxi; they'll have "Flat Rate" written on the side window. The starting fare is fixed, usually around $3.50.
And plus from the meter, which now there are three of us to share, which is cheap. Because we're only here for 3 days, we want to see as much as possible. Sometimes we may need to buy time. "Let's go, brother Suchat" >> SUPERTREE GROVE at Gardens By The Bay
This is a must-visit check-in spot in Singapore. If you miss it, how can you tell your friends about it when you go back? Because this place has almost become a symbol of Singapore.
Check-in point at 9 Supertree Grove, 18 giant trees, open from 5.00am - 2.00am, free entry.
The most beautiful time to visit is 7:45 pm or 8:45 pm, when there is a fire show.
Anyone who wants to walk on the 128-meter-long, 22-meter-high treetop bridge can try it for $8.
Info : The vertical gardens on the 18 Supertrees use 162,900 real trees, over 200 species.
Goodbye, giant tree.
Check-in point at 10 Marina Bay Sands
This is a must-check-in building as it is the most expensive building in the world, valued at approximately 5.7 billion US dollars or approximately 171 billion Thai baht.
The interior houses a hotel, a large casino, a movie theater, and a variety of tourist attractions.
Info: Top 3 Things About Marin Bay Sands
1. The world's most expensive building, valued at 5.7 billion US dollars
2. The world's largest casino room has up to 500 gambling tables and 1,600 slot machines. It must be a fire hazard.
3. The world's largest outdoor swimming pool (Rooftop)
I took a sneaky picture of the inside while walking through the hotel to the mall.
Check-in point 11 Rain Oculus
The Marina Bay Sands infinity pool, designed by renowned artist Ned Kahn, will have a period of water release that will turn into a whirlpool. I'll find a picture for you later.
I'm starting to feel drained today.
But the alcohol cravings overtook my drowsiness. We headed to Oxwell, the coolest and chicest bar in Chinatown, where the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement.
This shop is quite famous for its cocktails and the shop is super beautiful. But it turned out that when I went in, everything looked very busy. I saw people queuing, so I queued up too. When it was my turn, they told me that the shop was closed and not taking orders. It's okay, I'll come back later. With endless effort, I walked to the shop next door instead. BAR NKD is another kind of chic. The staff here are much friendlier.
Good Night Day 2 was much more fun than the first day, I must say. You can sneak a peek at the photos at [Spoil] Click to reveal hidden texthttps://www.facebook.com/Suk-Hua-Non-215381432186732/
Good morning everyone, today is a beautiful morning, around 7:00 am. I took a shower with a refreshing scented soap. It's time for us to move hotels.
At Adler, there is a luggage storage room with a code lock. You can leave your luggage there and go sightseeing. When you come back, you can pick it up. When you go downstairs, there is breakfast at Adler. It's not bad, just enough to satisfy your hunger. However, we have a plan to meet my sister and younger sister who are staying at another hotel. This morning, we are going to have some Chinese food. The restaurant we chose is "Yum Cha". The locals here say it's delicious and inexpensive, and it's very close. Just walk into Chinatown, turn left, and then turn right, and you'll be there.
Check-in point 12: Delicious dim sum at a famous restaurant in Chinatown
Upon arrival, the auntie brought us the menu. The prices were reasonable and the dishes looked delicious. For example, the scallop dumplings were 106 baht, and the custard buns with salted egg yolk were also 106 baht. The other dishes were similarly priced. I highly recommend ordering the century egg congee, which was fragrant, smooth, and flavorful. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! (There were many other dishes that I didn't get to photograph because I was too hungry.)
The total bill for our meal for 3 people came to around 1,100 baht. It was a delicious and filling meal, and when we split the bill, it came out to about 366 baht per person.
Info : Here's a tip about restaurants in Singapore: many of them don't provide paper napkins. Some don't use them at all, but they'll have a plastic-wrapped hand towel on the table. Feel free to use it, because even if you don't, the restaurant will charge you for it anyway. So, use it! Also, many restaurants, especially Chinese ones, will have peanuts on the table. Whether you eat them or not, you'll be charged for them anyway. There's no way around it, so go ahead and eat them!
Next Station : Arab Street I've been to China and now I'm in an Arab country.
Check-in point 13 is Masjid Sultan, a centuries-old mosque and the second largest in Singapore.
Check-in point 14 Haji Lane
Haji Lane is a small alley in the Bugis district, where the alleyways are adorned with beautiful street art. Many artists have come together to make it an art hub. The alley also has many shops selling cute and stylish items, making it one of the most popular places for Thai people to visit.
Tip: It is recommended to come around 2:00 PM as the restaurants are not yet open, there are not many people, you can take pictures to your heart's content, and the light is just right.
The following is a translation of the provided text from Thai to English:
I'm currently on air on the Grab Life By Chang program on True Travel Channel (True 364, Psi72). I'm going to sneak away and watch TV for a bit. If you're free, please turn on the TV and watch. We'll get to know each other better.
Let's take a look at the shops and people around here.
I'm very tired and hot, but I'm glad I came here. When traveling in a group, I have a tip: Plan your time like this to manage your time conveniently and not waste time. There will be one Time Keeper. We will agree that we have 15 minutes to drink coffee at this shop. Move when 15 minutes are up. Don't linger. This is a great way to keep everyone on time and get more sightseeing done.
If you get lost here, there is an easy way to ask for directions. If you really need to, ask a local. Many people are very kind and helpful.
So as not to waste time
Next Station : Little India
Check-in point 15, the way of life and the colorful buildings of the Indian community. I believe that many people have never been to India. It's really cool to come to Singapore and experience Indian culture. Most of the Indian people I saw were very kind. I asked many of them to take pictures with me, and the Indian food here is delicious. I'll take you to try it later.
The building is beautiful, isn't it? Standing there must be a great photo opportunity.
........
Who likes Indian food? Raise your hand. I hesitated for a long time whether to organize it or not. I came here to try it out.
Check-in point 16: Eating Indian food with your hands in Singapore at Banana Leaf. I chose this restaurant because there was a long line and a lot of foreigners.
It should be clean. Most importantly, the air conditioning is cold. Because before flying to Singapore, I went to a hotel and had Indian food. I knew some of them, such as chicken masala, so I ordered it to try. I also ordered lamb. Was it delicious? I have to wait and see. The food came with banana leaves. It looked amazing. I was so excited.
Unexpectedly, the Indian food here is surprisingly delicious. I must say it's also very affordable. I'm stuffed after this meal.
The 17th Check-in point was the highlight of my Singapore trip. At first, I wasn't going to go, but I'm glad I did. It's easy to get to, even though it was almost midnight. I'm going to take a break now, but there are still many more details about my trip on my page www.facebook.com/sukhuanon
Check-in point 17 at Fort Canning Tunnel
This place has become very popular after someone posted about it on Pantip, leading to a surge in the number of people visiting to take photos. It's truly a beautiful spot, perfect for photography. Getting there isn't difficult at all. Just take the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut station and walk a short distance. If you're interested in taking photos here, you can follow the original poster's thread, which provides a very detailed explanation. >> http://pantip.com/topic/34886451 Thank you for leading me to this amazing photo spot.
It's time to move hotels. It's a bit sad, I really liked Adler Hostel and would have loved to stay a few more nights. Most of the guests here are lovely and friendly, mostly foreigners. Most of them are travelers who like design, a bit of art, and a bit of hipster. But for the sake of value for money, it's time for us to move on. The next hostel is near Boat Quay, close to Clark Quay where we ate crab yesterday. It's about a 12-15 minute walk from China Town, so I'll be walking in my wet underwear again.
This hotel is full of Thai people. It's great for people who are lonely. As for me, I played in the sea until I was completely tanned and changed my hair color a bit. Most people thought I wasn't Thai, so I blended in and hid in the hotel. In some corners, I wanted to know how Thai people feel about traveling to Singapore. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They provide good information and are very patient.
* You have to rent a towel here for $2.
I booked a room through Booking.com. It's a Single Bed in Male Twin Room, which costs 814 baht (31$) per night. I've been staying in a dormitory for three days, and I wanted to have a comfortable night's sleep. Sometimes, staying in a dormitory can be a bit uncomfortable, especially for someone like me who is Thai and used to sleeping in a tank top and boxer shorts. This room is perfect for me. It has air conditioning and an electric locker that I can open and close with my key card. There are actually a lot of different types of rooms here, so you should check them out. The only downside to this room is that the stairs are very narrow, so it's not suitable for people who are overweight and might trip.
The selling point here is the balcony and the common area. The space is very well organized. More importantly, this place is a semi-hostel and a semi-gallery. Friends can walk around and see beautiful art by Singaporean photographers. Inside the common area, there are kitchen utensils for everyone to use, as well as a coffee machine that is available all night.
I told my friends that besides Pantip, I like to find places to visit from Pinterest because it's a source of beautifully designed shops and cafes. I came across a restaurant that I really wanted to go to, a Mexican restaurant called "Super Loco". The restaurant is beautiful and I really wanted to go there. Coincidentally, my sister, who lives separately, had an appointment with her friends at Super Loco. She guaranteed that it was a famous restaurant. It was a blessing, so I hitched a ride with her. I was so happy and comfortable.
Info: Parking in Singapore is not free. It is charged on an hourly basis, and the rates vary depending on the location. You need to purchase a parking coupon before parking. When you park, you need to tear off a piece of paper from the coupon, indicating the parking time and other information, such as the parking fee of $3. You need to tear off the coupon according to the price, which is very strange. Then you need to place it on the front of the windshield. There will be officers patrolling. It's strange, isn't it?
This area has a lot of restaurants, each one more beautiful than the last. Try a Thai restaurant, it's super chic. Walk a little further and you'll reach our restaurant, "Super Loco".
The weather is so hot, I had to order a Frozen Margarita Lychee. It's made with Cimarron Blanco Tequila, Blood Orange, Guava, and Lime. It's so delicious! The other drink was Coco Mojo (the best), made with Cimarron Blanco Tequila, 1800 Coconut Tequila, Coconut water, Lime, Lemon Verbena, and Mint. It was so delicious and intoxicating. Just reading the ingredients makes my eyes water.
Delicious but the price is very expensive. A glass for $17 and $18 = 468 baht/glass approximately. It's a very expensive experience.
Our side dishes are Alcachofa which is Globe Artichoke, Avocado purees. This dish is delicious.
Our main course has arrived! Enchilada De Pollo is Spiced Roasted Chicken, Pumpkin Seed, Paprika Cream. Delicious!!
This is a beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food. I ordered a lot more because I was hungry and ate it all. I recommend this place as one of the must-visit places in this area.
Check-in 18 dining experiences abroad that we don't know. It's a very exciting experience to open up and get to eat new and unusual food. It doesn't have to be an expensive meal, just something we've never tried before and dare to try at least once in our lives.
Our plan for tonight, which we forgot, was to visit the key landmarks in Singapore. We set our GPS and opened Google Maps to head straight to the Merlion, the iconic symbol of Singapore that you can't miss when you're here.
Is anyone reading this?
-
-
Let me grab my luggage first. I'll be back to continue. Check-in at 7pm: Merlion.
(If you come to Singapore without a picture of the Merlion, it's hard to go back home because it's a symbol of your arrival in Singapore.)
The Merlion was designed to be the symbol of the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in 1964. The statue has the head of a lion and the body of a fish, standing on top of waves. Soon after, the Merlion became widely recognized as the national symbol of Singapore.
Walk next to another
Check-in 20: Jubilee Bridge & Esplanade
The Jubilee Bridge, a waterfront promenade at the Esplanade project, is 220 meters long and cost $20 million to build. It can accommodate up to 2,000 people.
Check-in 21: Art Science Museum
The Museum of Art and Science, colloquially known as the Lotus Building, covers an area of 6,000 square meters and houses 21 galleries. Its striking architectural design makes it a prominent landmark visible from afar.
Check-in 22: Helix Bridge
The world's first double helix bridge, inspired by the human DNA structure, is 280 meters long.
In the dead of night, if you pass this night without alcohol, you will not sleep soundly. So let's go collect the remaining places.
Oxwell & Co. Ann Siang Hill
Info: The Pina colada is the best I've ever had, easily in the top 5. * Price: 468 baht
Warning: The most disappointing thing about this shop is the Service Mind, which is very disappointing. We went there two days in a row. The first day we couldn't eat because they had already closed the order. The second day we intentionally walked a long way to come back and eat again. We thought that some of the staff were nice, maybe we were unlucky to meet someone who wasn't good. But anyway, if you want to try cool cocktails, don't care about their bad service too much. But if you can't stand it, go to another shop! I have an urgent trip to Samui tomorrow, so I haven't finished the review yet. I'll continue later.
Good morning everyone! I woke up with a slight hangover, my legs are starting to ache, I guess I walked too much yesterday. The atmosphere this morning at the hostel is lively, there are a lot of people. This hostel has a really amazing view, I'm sitting on the balcony enjoying some bread and coffee, just chilling out.
Today, my older and younger sisters, who met in Singapore but didn't sleep together, had dinner together as a farewell.
Today, I'm the only one left. Our gang decided to end our trip at Maxwell because we all thought it was the cheapest and most diverse option among all the places we visited.
The first restaurant we tried was a noodle shop that combined Chinese and Japanese flavors. The taste was quite good, with a better flavor than other noodle shops. This shop has more ingredients and seasonings, and for a little extra money you can get a grilled chicken skewer to go with your noodles.
The second chicken rice shop we tried was Ah Tai. I highly recommend it, as most people will queue up at Tian Tian. This shop's taste is just as good.
This is my third time trying this restaurant, Hong Xiang. - - - It's just okay, I'll pass.
Here's a summary of the deliciousness of Singaporean chicken rice: I recommend that you don't expect too much, or it won't be delicious.
Singaporean chicken rice is influenced by Hainanese cuisine. The difference between Thai chicken rice is that the rice grains here are softer, more fragrant, but not as oily as Thai chicken rice. As for the chicken here, it is softer, juicier, and has an On Top sauce. As for the dipping sauce, the taste is much milder than Thai.
The most delicious restaurant should be Tian Tian. Due to the story and word of mouth, this restaurant is still number one. Plus, the long queue time makes the hunger increase exponentially, making the meal much more enjoyable. However, if you are not interested in the story and want to go to Ah Tai, the wait is not long, and the seller is kind. The taste is similar. I have heard that Ah Tai is an old chef from Tian Tian who opened a separate restaurant, so there is some similarity. Whether it is true or not, I don't know. You have to try it yourself. Goodbye, Maxwell.
We really like the color of the building. It is located near Maxwell on the way to Red Dot.
Check-in point 23 Singapore City Gallery
This is a gallery that tells the story of the master plan and origin of the entire city of Singapore. Admission is free and the air conditioning is cool, making it a great place to visit as it allows us to learn more about Singapore. Inside the gallery, there are maps of the entire city of Singapore, which will make it easier for us to travel around Singapore if we come on the first day of our trip. Inside, there is also an exhibition on the evolution of urban planning in Singapore. The knowledge is very solid. Singapore strives to maintain a balance between various things, such as buildings, residential communities, forests, and nature, to ensure that they are in the right proportion. Many of you may already know that Singapore is very small. The government has been reclaiming land and systematically dividing the city into different zones, making the city very organized. Come and have a look. It's very useful.
And here is the important figure of Singapore, who is widely regarded as the "founding father of modern Singapore".
He was the first Prime Minister of Singapore to rule the country for thirty years, and he only passed away on March 23, 2015.

Let's continue our journey! Before the sisters have to go their separate ways to the airport, they decided to take a quick shopping trip to Orchard Road, the most bustling shopping district in Singapore. After leaving Galley, they headed straight there.
Check-in point at 24 ION Orchard
The street is full of shopping malls. The highlight that is worth taking a photo and checking in is right here at the ION Orchard gate. Actually, you should come at night. The gate and building will have beautiful lights. In addition to the beautiful exterior, the building also has many shopping sources, many of which are cheaper than in Thailand. You can come and choose to see. Cool air conditioning.
Okay, here's the translation: Let's go! There's a Paragon here too, but I didn't go in. Now my sister and I have to hurry, we need to rush to the airport. One of us is taking Tiger Air, the other is taking Jet Star. It's a very diverse and varied trip. In the end, we were afraid of missing our flight, so we had to take a taxi.
Which one is expensive, which one is not expensive, observe the Flag Down or Taxi start fee. This one is 3.7$ (96 baht)
It's time to be alone. Let's go solo.
We've finally arrived at the last hostel of this trip.
"The Pod Boutique Capsule" is a modern Design Boutique Hotel that is very different from other hotels in Singapore. With its spacious sleeping pods, gray bed linen and pillowcases, and beautiful, minimalist design, it is a very comfortable place to stay. The large, clean bathrooms are also a plus, making The Pod a great place to stay.

Check-in point 25: St. Andrew's Cathedral
Check-in Point 26: National Gallery Singapore
It is the largest gallery in Singapore, having opened its doors just last year on November 24th. It houses the world's largest public collection of Singaporean and Southeast Asian art, with over 8,000 artworks on display. The total investment for the gallery was approximately $532 million, which is equivalent to around 13,832 million Thai baht.
For me, on this trip, I wanted to spend a short time looking at the art here, so I paid for a ticket. But for my friends who are not interested in art, don't get bored yet. I'll take you for a walk around the building and see what's interesting.
The Gallery uses a lot of technology to explain the artwork, which I really like. You can choose your favorite pictures from the Gallery and send them as electronic postcards to your friends, which is very modern.
It took me a long time to walk, until I got lost and walked to the top of the Gallery. It was so cool and I found a cool view with a new perspective of Singapore that I never thought of before.
After taking a deep breath and enjoying the Singaporean view, it's time to add some caffeine to the body again.
Below are beautiful cafes with great views.
Checkpoint 27: Marina Barrage
The roof of the reservoir of the largest dam in Singapore, which received the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists award
It's a very popular project.
The Marina Barrage is now a very popular spot for tourists to come and watch the sunset.
Though it might be a bit far, it's definitely worth it once you arrive. The view is amazing. I came alone, and the atmosphere was super lonely. But don't worry too much about being lonely, because when you get here, you'll realize that there are many other lonely people who also came alone.
