This trip is a continuation of the "One Meal, One Book, Mae Jo School, Mae La Noi District, Mae Hong Son Province" project (https://th.readme.me/p/1420). The teachers would like to renovate the playground in front of the school building for various student activities. However, they lack sufficient funds to complete the project. They requested the cooperation of our group, who had previously donated supplies to the children. With the power of collaboration, support from all parties, including donations, supplies, books, toys, physical and mental support from various channels, we were able to raise enough funds to contribute to the construction of this playground.

The school's budget was insufficient to complete the construction of the field.

A group of 16 migrant workers, who had previously worked together, arrived in two vans. They split into two teams: a construction team and a cooking team.

We started mixing cement, stones, and sand according to the formula. I must say that our group has been working on construction volunteer trips for several trips. We have a certain level of expertise and have been helped by the villagers because we only have 2 days to work. We will be able to finish and do as much as possible.

Together with the beautiful teacher also came to help :)

The

Spread

Nong August, the same old one, came to help. She joined the volunteer trip and traveled with us all the time. Now she's a young lady, 6 years old already. She knows her job well. Hehe.

Strong and tough female workers ^^

The younger siblings from The Hitchhiking Gang to Gerng Jai Jang tricked me into helping them ^^

Switching to the kitchen team, Nat and U are stir-frying noodles for this meal.

Ning's team pounded papaya salad, making their mouths water.

Lunch break

Still feeling energetic and lively :)

Relax.

The principal is here to supervise the work himself. Let's continue.

The highlight of the project, a small source of pride, was completed through collaboration. The lower floor extension will be continued by the teachers and villagers at a later date.

After a tiring day of manual labor, we went down to the area to walk around and visit the villagers and children. Since we went during the school break in early May, the children were at home.

I also brought snacks to give to the children.

Cute and bright

Nong Dada, the school's star for a year, has grown into a young woman. She is playful and enjoys posing for photos as always.

Ekki, who can fix anything, found a broken wooden bridge and immediately grabbed a hammer to fix it.

Handsome right here ^^

Let's continue walking. Older children lead younger children to do the Gotji pose.

Jumping together, both young and old.

Another way of life for the villagers here is that after returning from farming, they collect firewood to use as fuel.

It's getting late, let's go back to the school party. Grilled fish party, with the sound of crickets and wind. Tonight, I'll sleep soundly from exhaustion. No need to mention the sound of snoring while sleeping. Whoever falls asleep first is lucky. Good night zzzzzzzzz

Woke up this morning feeling refreshed, the kids woke me up early and we played games.

The flowers bloom in the morning :)

This morning I cooked and fed the children.

Stir-fried instant noodles, clear soup

This face means it's delicious, right? :)

The children here are well-taught. Everyone knows their duty, which is to wash their own dishes after eating. This trains them to be responsible.

The next mission is to distribute the donated items.

I received the giveaway and tried it out right away.

T-shirts were given out to wear during physical education classes. The students were excited to wear the shirts so they could take nice pictures.

Are these twins? Do they look alike?

The finance team is counting the donations to be delivered to the school.

A ceremony was held to hand over funds for the purchase of materials and construction equipment.

Take a souvenir photo with the work that we are all proud of.

Thank you to everyone, for all the hard work, dedication, and donations of money and goods that you have sent to the children here.

No matter what your role is, what you do, or who you are, if we do things with intention, care, and do good things as much as we can, it is all valuable. We can always start doing good and right things, just by "stepping" out and taking action.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

After completing our mission, we continued our journey. Yay! We went to visit and stay in the city of Mae Hong Son. It took about 2 hours to travel from the school.

Let's start by visiting the Phu Khlon Mud Volcano, and then look for the Sutongpe Bridge, the Bridge of Faith, the longest bamboo bridge in Thailand. Sutongpe is a Tai Yai language word that means "wishes granted" (really?). Did anyone make a wish? Judging from the excited and happy atmosphere at the bridge, I don't think anyone made a wish. Hehe.

The dry season is really bad. It hasn't rained yet, so I can't predict anything.

Where did you find this young man?

With limited time and the approaching dusk, we didn't have time to walk to the temple on the other side. We will come back again when the time is right. ^_^

It must be beautiful during the green rice season.

Let's take a quick break for an ad. For this trip, I would like to thank the van team run together who safely brought us to complete this mission. They can even help with construction work while driving. If you are interested in using their services, please feel free to contact them. ^_^ They go to every mountain (not waiting below).

And then we didn't make it in time for the sunset, we only got the twilight on the Phra That Doi Kong Mu.

Flower bouquet

This evening, I took a walk around the Mae Hong Son city center during the dry season. There weren't many people around, and the walking street market was also quiet. But I liked it. It's a small, peaceful town. Afterwards, I walked around the market and found some food to eat.

At the post office intersection, which is the starting point of the walking street

Don't miss the popular spot, Wat Phra That Choeng Kham, Chong Klang. I'll stop by again tomorrow morning.

Tonight, we'll continue our conversation with a mix of fun and spicy topics.

In the late morning, I went to pay respects at Wat Chong Kham.

Central Temple

Once again, I climbed up to Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu. I couldn't miss the chance to have coffee at this popular shop before the sunset, which is the perfect spot to watch the sun go down.

August has arrived in Mae Hong Son! There may be some dizziness and vomiting, but she is tough and can handle it.

From the back of Wat Phra That Doi Kong Mu, you can see the city of Mae Hong Son, surrounded by high, rugged mountains.

I see Mae Hong Son Airport. I'll fly there someday.

The joy of giving and bringing things to the children. Thank you to everyone who joined us on this trip. Some of us met for the first time, but it felt like we had known each other for a long time. May you find only good things in life. See you again on the next trip. Volunteer to take you on a trip... see you again

.... Change the point where you stand, we will see the value of ourselves

**Thank you to the team: Lingple, Tor, Ek, Prem, Oh, Ning, Wawa, Nut, U, Pun, Aem, M, Tah, Nok, Pat, and Nong Augustus**
