Between September 16-17, 2015, Thailand was affected by the storm "Vamco".
This caused flooding and flash floods in many areas, but my travel plans were already set for Saturday morning, September 19th.
During that time, I was quite worried because I was afraid that if I went on a trip, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it as I might have to stay in my accommodation due to the rain.
However, since the entire travel plan had already been set, there was no way to refuse to go. And this is the origin of >>> braving the storm and rain to go sit and look at "him".
I will tell you a story. The pictures may not be exactly what I am talking about.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/486496408154333/My travel plan is to pack my bags and rest for 3-4 hours after finishing my regular work on Friday evening. Then I will start my journey that night so that I can catch the sunrise behind the Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew temple.
However, as Typhoon "Vamco" was still hovering over the area that day, it started raining before we even left the house. The rain continued until midnight.
According to the plan, we were supposed to leave home at midnight. However, we had to postpone it because we were afraid that driving in heavy rain could be dangerous.
Due to the heavy rain, we had to postpone our departure until 1 am. Throughout the journey, it rained continuously, with some sections experiencing extremely heavy downpours.
All I could think about was that the rain would stop by the time I got there this morning, because I was determined to get some beautiful pictures.
But then when we reached the intersection of the Father Khun Pha Mueang Monument, the rain started to stop. And when we started to enter Highway 12, we found that the entire route was covered in fog.
By the time I saw the sunlight, I immediately drove to the viewpoint behind Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew to capture as many photos of that morning as possible.
Pine trees behind the temple
The first thing I saw left me speechless. The sea of mist was breathtaking, enveloping the mountains in its embrace.

The sea of mist slowly envelops the Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew temple.
Although I have been to this viewpoint many times before, it was always in the afternoon. I never knew that it would be so beautiful in the morning.
Below this viewpoint is the viewpoint of Pino Latte coffee shop. The viewpoint here is so beautiful that I have to sit and look at "him" ^___^
The mountain was completely enveloped by fog.
In addition to being a coffee shop, Pino Latte also offers accommodation.
Wouldn't it be amazing to wake up every morning to a beautiful view like this right in front of you?
After I had captured the impressive images to my heart's content, I stopped by Khao Kho. However, I didn't expect to see a sea of mist as it was already late in the morning.
However, when I arrived, there were still a few left.
After that, my friends and I stopped by a restaurant to eat after not having eaten anything since the middle of the night before.
After finishing our meal, we continued our journey to Phu Thap Boek.
The road to the top of Phu Thap Boek is quite steep, so you need to drive carefully.
Once we arrived at the accommodation, everyone seemed to know what to do and fell asleep soundly, probably because they had been sleep-deprived all night.
In the evening, my friends and I headed straight to Phu Phaeng Ma to watch the sunset. But the sky wasn't on our side, and it started to rain heavily.
The result is not very aesthetically pleasing, but it is strangely unique.
The rain that fell like this reminded me of June, when I visited. I couldn't help but hope that it would rain heavily like that night, but the rain only fell for a short while before stopping. With such a small amount of rain, the humidity will probably not be enough to form a sea of fog the next morning.
And Sunday morning arrived. It was a morning with a surprisingly cold temperature. The first light of the day was incredibly intense.
I'm usually an early riser when I travel, but I've never seen such beautiful morning light.
Although that day there was a light mist that did not quite form the fluffy sea of fog we had hoped for, what we saw before us was no less impressive.
Phu Thap Boek is very crowded today, as crowded as during the New Year festival. At the viewpoint, there are many tents set up.
And what you can't miss when you come here is taking pictures with the cabbage patch.
Looking down from the edge of Phu Thap Boek, we can see the winding road we took to get here.
On that day, all the accommodations were fully booked, but luckily my friend had already made a reservation in advance.
Then, when it started to get a little late in the morning, we traveled to the Phu Phaeng Ma viewpoint again.
As we walked along the path, we came across fallen red maple leaves, so we picked them up and took some pictures.
This viewpoint is higher than the viewpoint at Phu Thap Boek, allowing us to see even further.
Although the day was a little foggy, it was definitely worth it to come back here again.
