In the beginning...

...Actually, this trip was a continuation of the one to Phu Kradueng...with the words of a friend who had been on the trip with me before, saying to me that

"Try going to Khao Luang, it's closer, only 3.7 kilometers away, but it's very steep..."

I wonder how much I should wash it after listening to it....

So I tried to find a day off. It happened to be during the Buddhist Lent period, which had a holiday from 16-19 July 2016.

Then let's choose the 17th-18th.

Khao Luang is located in Ramkhamhaeng National Park, Sukhothai, which is close to my hometown. I live in Kamphaeng Phet, which is less than 100 kilometers away. If you're coming from Bangkok, it's about 360 kilometers away.

This trip has 1 participant. He has bravely established himself as a

TER JOURNEY "Teo Journey" Encounters This and That, Encounters That and This 555+

"I've been here before," said Te, a fitness enthusiast. It's reassuring to have a friend who has been here before.

As for me, I've been running for a while now, so I should be fine. We also met up to buy food pouches, garlic pork, curry, stir-fried basil, mineral salts, and

Let's have a quick briefing... but I don't think we need to brief Teerayut on this anymore, do we?

Special trip ...

"....NitVigator joint venture TER JOURNEY .."

Okay, Sunday morning, we went on a simple drive from Kamphaeng Phet to Ao Taen. We brought our tent, sleeping bags, and stopped to buy sticky rice to eat. Te led the way, planning to stop at Phran Kratai District before reaching the park entrance. But my partner drove us a little further, to Sukhothai!

..Oh my goodness...

We turned into the sign that said Ramkhamhaeng National Park. We drove for another 15 kilometers. The view that we saw was definitely a sea of fog! We paid an entrance fee of 110 baht for two people at the entrance. And at the information center, we paid another 60 baht for a tent rental. If you don't have anything prepared, you can rent mats, tents, and sleeping bags at the top.

From the bottom of my heart, I think Te'o is cool with this!

We divided the tasks among ourselves, with my friend being in charge of provisions, including water, food, and cameras.

As for me, I'm in charge of the technical aspects, including cameras, drones, water, sleeping bags, and other equipment.

Just 3.7 kilometers ....huh?

How far is 3.7 kilometers? I only looked at the pictures in the review and didn't read anything, but I know it's beautiful. Come on, let's see how it is. ..

Entrance

After walking 200 meters, we will find a large wooden pole :] Spreading joy, you'll know soon ....

After taking some photos, let's move on...

... Looking up, there's only this kind of thing, really ... I met many people walking down and could only ask ...

" Halfway there yet..."

A cold voice replied, "It's still a long way off."

What is this... acting like a coma or chilling?

"Hey, Te, are we almost there? Do you remember how to get there?"

" I don't remember. I came here 15 years ago. "

Oh, you didn't tell me beforehand. I have amnesia. Okay, we have to go on...

Then .......

Every nook and cranny, every rock and every space where you want to sit or lie down, I'm exhausted.

The water pipeline system has been damaged by the wildfire and is currently unusable.

n: Heyyy!!! Can you continue yet? ..!!
t: Wait a minute!!! I'm coming...
n: Seriously?
t: I have a cramp in my leg!!!

.....

Slowly crawl... until you reach the viewpoint.

" ...Asked if I'm tired.... I have to say nooooooooooo... "

Everyone's faces are so hopeless 5555

The flat path only served to prepare us for the steep climb ahead. .....

Finally, I met someone who came down. I asked him if we were close to the resting point yet.

" We're almost there, just one more bend and then a short climb. "

One run!!! A run that felt sooooooo long ..... And then I reached the path up to the rest point ...

I have to rest for two hours... sigh... It's that damn light...

I came across a younger student, probably in elementary school, who was using a phone. It was... heartbreaking. They're still so young, but we can't do anything about it... 555+++

We're finally here! Our campsite! 11:00 AM - almost 5:00 PM. Wow, we set up the tent, ate some food, and now we're going to watch the sunset.

Time to celebrate ^^

No need to say much, let's just look at the picture.. Khao Mae Ya, about 980 meters away... Hmm.

...That's it for today, I'm going to sleep now zzzZZZ ...

Beauty comes in many forms...

This morning we woke up at 5 am to watch the sunrise and hopefully see the sea of mist, as there was some rain and wind last night. ...

We were the first group to go up.

...but we didn't get to see the sea of mist, the sea of mist that we wanted...

We found another kind of beauty ...

A morning scene where the sunlight gradually illuminates the rice fields, reaching the lights of Sukhothai city.

We are trying to capture all the beauty in front of us ...

But only a fraction of that ^^

Asking if I'm disappointed not to see the sea of fog ... :]

The picture in front of me makes me smile so much ...

The horizon stretches as far as the eye can see, the lush green mountain ridges ...

And we are just one small thing on this rock ..

We expect one kind of beauty, but the timing may bring another kind of beauty....

... that is worth our effort ... and of course

" ...Beauty doesn't have a single form..." Isn't that right ^^

And finally, we raised the flag again.

After taking photos to our heart's content, we packed up our things and said goodbye to the park rangers and our fellow travelers. Then we descended ...

It took us almost three hours to walk down.

It's quite a situation :] Without a crutch, things would be really bad...

We came back and walked down the stairs straight down ..... 555+

I saw this sign when I was leaving .... T T

What are you so serious about?

But there are no risers anymore.

Post-trip discussion

Is that Khao Luang? .. ?

We won't tell you everything... We think it's better if your friends come and see for themselves.. ^^

With 3.7 kilometers that I think is brutal for me 555 walk 3 minutes, rest 5 minutes, collect every bed, every way that is tired. Like looking at only steep slopes But how about it? This is the charm of each place.

The road is steep throughout the journey and there is very little flat ground.

The water system from above is broken. Please bring plenty of water, as you won't be able to drink again until you reach the top.

Equipment such as tents, sleeping bags, and mats are available for rent at the top, but in limited quantities. Hot water is available. As for food, it will be a bit more expensive because it is difficult to bring it up. :]

Mobile phone signal is available throughout the journey, with occasional drops. That's enough information, right? Get ready to go.

This short trip of only a day and a half was filled with many memorable moments.

The pictures are beautiful as I wished... but it's not as good as seeing it yourself, I tell you.

The total cost is around 300 baht per person. ^^

This is because it is close to my house and I happened to go back during the festival.

Let me leave you with a few good words.

"Everyone has their own clock, their own habits, their own talents, and their own interests. We are all different..."

Whether it's daily life or life plans,
Make sure with yourself. If you have your own watch,
You can walk your own path without rushing meaninglessly.

...or you might even find a way to feel fulfilled without having to pay attention to the noise around you...."
