As an avid traveler, one of my dreams has always been to take my parents on a long trip together. For years, I've been traveling abroad with friends, and I've always thought it would be wonderful to share this experience with my family.

After saving enough money, a road trip to Austria, Slovenia, and Italy was born. One of the highlights of this trip was the ascent to the summit of Alpe di Siusi in the Dolomite mountain range in northern Italy.

The Dolomite mountain range boasts stunning landscapes, characterized by majestic, pointed limestone peaks towering over vast pine forests and meadows. During the summer, wildflowers of all kinds paint the meadows in vibrant colors, rivaling the beauty of the Swiss vistas familiar to Thais. ... I'm sure Dad and Mom would love it, as they both adore flowers.

However, since my father has difficulty walking due to an accident he had while working, and has also undergone heart surgery, I had him use a wheelchair during this trip. In fact, he doesn't use it at home because he doesn't usually walk long distances, but on a trip like this, it was sometimes unavoidable, so we brought the wheelchair with us from Thailand.

This is the stroller I used for this trip. The little girl pushing it is my niece. This picture was taken in Hallstatt on the first day of our trip to Austria.

This is a picture I've always dreamed of seeing. It's so heartwarming to see my parents smiling and enjoying the scenery around them.

However, going up to the top of Alpe di Siusi by cable car and walking around the flower fields like most tourists would not be possible. The path on top is packed dirt and involves a lot of ups and downs, which would be difficult with a wheelchair. I searched for information for a long time. At first, I planned to drive up, but I found out that if you don't stay on top, you can't take your car up, so I had to find new information. I found out that there is a horse-drawn carriage service that takes tourists up to the top of the mountain on a one-day trip. The carriage starts from the village at the foot of the mountain called Monte Pana and ends at the meadow on the top of Alpe di Siusi. The carriage is big enough to carry all 8 of us, and there is a restaurant at the top, so we don't have to worry about my father and the little one walking.

As we found the travel style that suits us, our little family adventure began... This one-day trip started in the late morning at a horse farm in the village of Monte Pana.

A large, imposing black horse-drawn carriage pulled us up the incline, through the natural pine forest along the compacted gravel path ... Everyone seemed excited by the unfamiliar scenery under the cool atmosphere of early summer and the increasingly clear sky.

After about 45 minutes of driving, the car stopped for the horses to rest on the way. It was also an opportunity for us to capture beautiful pictures of the towering mountains in front of us. ... The view here is like a scene set up for photography. It's so beautiful that words can't describe it.

As the altitude increases, the pine forests gradually transform into lush green meadows interspersed with rows of pine trees. Herds of cows graze in the fields... Nature is truly magnificent and beautiful.

Around noon, we arrived at the rest stop at the top, which is open as a restaurant. It offers 360-degree views... We had the opportunity to taste the local menu, which was included in the service charge. Of course, the surrounding scenery made this meal even more delicious.

My parents were able to sit back and relax, enjoying the view and soaking up the atmosphere. My little nephew was having a blast watching the farm animals and taking turns on the swings. Meanwhile, I took a walk up the hill behind the restaurant to capture some photos of the flower field and the herd of horses that were roaming freely, just like I had seen in documentaries.

After a long break and enjoying the atmosphere on top of Alpe di Siusi, we started our journey back down to the town of Monte Pana, which took only a little over an hour with the downhill route.

Upon returning, the farm also allowed the little nephew to try riding a miniature horse as a bonus.

I hope this mini-review will inspire you to try and create your own dreams. Everyone's dreams are different sizes, and they don't have to be as far away as this. Just somewhere that's different from your usual environment, with the people you love. I believe it will be a warm and unforgettable time.
