Let's meet again for this review. Let's go north to sleep and see the view of Doi Luang Chiang Dao at "Baan Sai Morakot", Chiang Dao District. Before that, I went up to the top of Doi Luang. Let's change the atmosphere a bit. 55+ Who said that there are only houses with balconies? It might have been before, but now homestays are popping up everywhere! You don't have to book a year in advance anymore. So what? Let's go...

From Chiang Mai city, head north to Chiang Dao district. The way up to Baan Sai Hom or Baan Rabeang Dao is located at Wat Tham Chiang Dao. Continue straight ahead and you will come to a three-way intersection. Turn right and you will find a checkpoint where you will be charged 20 baht per person.

After passing the checkpoint, continue straight for approximately 13 kilometers. The journey should take about an hour. The road is narrow, so please slow down when passing oncoming vehicles. Additionally, if you encounter a sharp bend, honk your horn to signal oncoming traffic for safety purposes.

When approaching the next three-way intersection, turn left. You will see a sign indicating "Ban Na Lao Mai," although tourists rarely refer to it by this name. Before reaching Ban Sai Mahok, you will pass Ban Rabeang Dao and Ban Wiw Doi Luang. (The path behind me leads to Ban Sai Mahok, while the road ahead is the one you took from Ban Rabeang Dao and Ban Wiw Doi Luang.)

As you descend, you will encounter Baan Sai Maok. Next to it is Baan Maok Tawan.

The entrance sign to Baan Sai Morakot is clearly visible, ensuring you won't get lost.

The parking lot is located right in front of the entrance.

Upon arrival, we contacted the reception for check-in (as we had already made a reservation the previous month). Let's take a look at the atmosphere of the accommodation.

Upon entering, you will encounter a spacious courtyard where you can relax and enjoy the scenic views.

The prominent nameplate of Baan Saimork @ Chiang Dao.

From the viewing platform, you can see the accommodation cascading down the hillside, each with a private space in front for relaxing.

This photo was taken from Baan Sai Morakot, with Baan Morakot Tawan inside. On the right is the viewpoint of Baan Morakot Tawan. If you try walking there, it's just as beautiful. It's amazing.

Capture the panoramic view from Baan Mork Tawan viewpoint.

This is the shared bathroom of the Baan Sai Morakot house. However, each individual house also has its own bathroom.

For dinner tonight, we have tofu soup, fried egg, stir-fried vegetables, and chili paste.

Eating rice outside the house with a view that is not at home. 55+

As dusk approaches, the number of mosquitoes increases significantly. These mosquitoes are particularly large, so please be cautious. However, once darkness falls, the mosquitoes seem to vanish completely.

At midnight, there is an electric current from the pottery kiln.

Although my device malfunctioned during the trip, I was well-prepared with a flashlight, making the issue inconsequential.

The darkness was perfect for photographing elephants. I set up my camera and opened the app to check the direction of the elephants. Wow, they were right in front of me, above Doi Luang Chiang Dao. If I could capture them, it would be magnificent. But... clouds were a big problem for taking pictures. There were so many clouds that in the end...

The rain started pouring as soon as I finished taking the photo. I'm going back to bed now, it's gotten cold all of a sudden tonight. Zzz

It's morning, wake up! It's morning, wake up! Open the door and wow!

A variety of breakfast options are available, including rice porridge, coffee, and Ovaltine. You can also add more if needed. You're sure to be full and satisfied.

Ending with a 360-degree mountain mist house.
