Day 1
EP.1 "To Chiang Mai"
Our first day's journey to Chiang Mai was by Thai Lion Air. We got a promotional ticket price from Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Chiang Mai for 2 passengers at 1,625 baht (all inclusive). Thai Lion Air flight SL-516 departed at 15:50 and arrived at 17:05, taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, we were greeted by a light rain. The temperature at that time was not yet very cold.
Our mode of transportation for this trip was a motorbike rented from Bikky's Chiang Mai Airport branch (Gate 1, Taxi parking area).
The daily rental fee (for motorcycles with engine capacity not exceeding 125 cc, no deposit required) is 250 baht per day. I rented for 5 days at a total cost of 1250 baht.
**Check the condition of the car before picking it up.**
We opted to drive to the Old City of Chiang Mai in search of accommodation, ultimately settling on a hostel (shared room).
The Home Chiang Mai Hostel is a newly opened accommodation offering dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms at 300 baht per bed.
The ground floor of the accommodation is currently undergoing renovation. There are tables and drinks available for order.
The second floor offers a comfortable lounge area, making the hostel ideal for groups of travelers and friends.
Fortunately, the room was still available, so we were able to stay in it. It was a great deal!
For room reservations, please contact https://www.facebook.com/thehomehostel/
Let's grab our belongings and head to the Tha Pae Walking Street to soak up the atmosphere.
Day 1
EP.2 "Chiang Mai Walking Street with Drizzling Rain"
Tha Pae Walking Street is open only on Sundays, from approximately 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The walking street starts from Tha Pae Gate and extends to the Ratchadamnoen Road intersection in the middle of Wiang. There is a left turn towards Wat Chedi Luang, and on the right, there is a path opposite the Three Kings Monument.
Amidst the gentle drizzle, visitors strolled through the stalls showcasing local handicrafts.
Beauty, craftsmanship, and emotional value.
The spicy glass noodle salad is very delicious.
Steaming cockles on the walking street, amidst the drizzling rain. Absolutely fantastic!
The admin's hands are now full of delicious food. 555+
