Happy New Year to everyone. May you all have a happy year 2560 throughout the year. May all your wishes come true.
I believe that many people must have traveled back home to their families and enjoyed the New Year's festival. Some families spend time together at home.
Some families travel together to the provinces or abroad. As for my family, we do both. 5555
In 3 days and 2 nights, with the cold weather like this, if you travel to relax, many families might think of provinces in the north or northeast to
experience the cold weather. But as I said before, the sea in winter is the most beautiful. For me, I have been to Ranong 4-5 times.
I feel that this place has something interesting. It has both the sea, mountains, waterfalls, hot springs, a peaceful atmosphere, and affordable accommodation. And most importantly, the food is delicious.
The price is not expensive, so I chose to travel to relax here again and brought my family with me.

Follow me, I will take you on a tour of Ranong. I started my journey from my home in Ayutthaya around 10 pm, driving myself. The roads were generally good, except for the section between Chumphon and Ranong, where there was road construction and winding roads. Please drive with caution.

I arrived in Ranong city around 7 am. I parked my car and went to the bathroom to freshen up. Then, we went to have breakfast. We had dim sum at Ranong Ocha restaurant. The restaurant was very crowded today. There were many food options to choose from, including set menus, porridge, and fried eggs. For dim sum, you can choose from the refrigerator and write down your table number on the order slip. The food will be steamed for about 30 minutes and then delivered to your table. The taste and quality are good, and each basket costs 20 baht.

After a hearty breakfast, we checked the time and saw that it was only 9:00 AM. Since we couldn't check into our accommodation yet, I decided to drive to the Raksa Warin Hot Spring. We had been sitting in the car all night, and my wife and mother-in-law were feeling stiff and sore. They wanted to get a massage and soak in the hot spring to relax. I was happy to oblige!

Exhausted and sleep-deprived, we decided to rest our eyes at a nearby private hot spring that also offered massage services.

Alternatively, you can simply soak in the water. Our family enjoyed a relaxing 2-hour soak, followed by a soothing massage to loosen our muscles.

The atmosphere was electric, leaving everyone feeling light and carefree.

As I waited, I noticed that this place seemed to be a landmark of Ranong Province, with tourists from other provinces visiting it constantly.

Raksa Warin Hot Spring is a natural hot spring formed by groundwater flowing through the Earth's heat.

A large number of people have been using the hot yoga studio as a place to soak their feet and relax, as the service is free of charge.

The area features a picturesque wooden bridge perfect for capturing stunning photos, surrounded by charming shops and souvenir stalls.

Renowned for its culinary delights, Ranong's restaurants are a magnet for tourists seeking authentic gastronomic experiences.

The daughter started complaining of hunger. Looking at the time, it was almost noon. We walked out of the hot spring and crossed the road. Less than 20 steps away, there was a restaurant called "Koon Lin". It is a Thai restaurant with authentic local flavors and is a famous restaurant in Ranong province. Anyone who comes to Ranong must stop by and have a meal.

The restaurant boasts a cool and refreshing atmosphere thanks to the large trees surrounding it. The open design allows for fresh air to circulate, while the entrance features eye-catching decorations.

Featuring Elvis-Madonna cartoon sculptures and oversized robots for unique photo opportunities.

Colorful scarecrows hang in a row above, and each guest dining here receives a scarecrow to write their wish on.

Not yet. While waiting for the food order, there are finger puppets to play with to entertain the children who come along. However, it seems that the adults are having more fun than the children.

Distracted by the enticing atmosphere, we almost forgot to order food. A must-try dish that I highly recommend is the deep-fried mackerel with shrimp paste.

Sour curry with Ryukyu fish eggs, Stir-fried Lumphu fish with vegetables, Stir-fried Leang leaves with eggs, and Shrimp paste chili dip.

Ranong Pork Curry and Stir-fried Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce

If you can't decide, the restaurant offers a "lucky draw" menu. If you're unsure what to order, try your luck with this menu. It's a unique and fun idea.

While we wait for the food,

No need to worry about getting bored, as the restaurant regularly hosts entertainment activities, including dancing to create a fun atmosphere for customers. The table next door must have been enjoying the music, as they got up and started moving to the beat, having a great time. In addition, there are cool signs for taking fun photos.

The food arrived quickly, within 15 minutes. Let's introduce each dish one by one. Starting with my favorite dish, the stir-fried mackerel with shrimp paste. The highlight is the stir-fried shrimp paste, which pairs perfectly with the firm, slightly salty fried mackerel. Just talking about it makes my mouth water. I'm hungry! However, those who do not enjoy salty flavors may not appreciate this dish.

The next favorite dish is the Ryukyu fish roe sour curry. The highlight is the Ryukyu fish roe. I have tried it in many places before. Some places taste like cod liver oil when you bite into it.

The chewy fish eggs were so delicious, I could barely keep up with eating them. They were fresh and didn't have any fishy smell.

Another must-try dish is the signature dish of Ranong province, "Pla Lum Pu Kluay Luy Suan," which features the "Pla Chik Chak," the king of Chinese fish. This auspicious dish is a unique culinary experience only available in Ranong.

The second unique aspect is that the shop simmers the fish overnight to make the meat tender. This dish is recommended for older people who don't need to chew much.

The next dish is a chili paste with shrimp paste. The shrimp paste is made in-house and is of the highest quality. The taste is not as salty as regular shrimp paste. It may look simple, but the taste is extraordinary.

This dish is a must-try in southern Thailand. Stir-fried Leang leaves with eggs is a popular dish that everyone orders.

For lunch, this is enough for now. I'll come back later in the evening to try some other dishes.

In addition to the food menu, this place also offers freshly blended fruit juices. The three-color juice is a blend of watermelon, pineapple, and Gymnema inodorum leaf juice.

Yes, I have tried water spinach leaves before. I was initially worried about the green smell, but it turned out to be unfounded.

The taste is pleasantly tart and refreshing.

The daughter's portion is a two-flavored drink. It is recommended for those who want two flavors at the same time. It is considered a very stylish menu.

After a satisfying lunch, we felt the need to rest. It was time to check into our accommodation and take a nap. In the evening, we planned to soak in the hot springs and find something to eat. (This trip was all about eating, sleeping, and soaking in the hot springs.) Around 4:00 PM, we headed to the Raksa Warin hot springs, the same place as before.

During the New Year, the place is packed with people. Locals usually gather here in the evenings for activities, and it's even more crowded during long holidays.

This doubles the number of tourists.

Initially, I considered immersing myself completely, but upon seeing the crowd, I opted for a foot soak instead. I alternated between walking and soaking my feet while listening to music, enjoying the leisurely atmosphere.

For dinner, we entrusted our stomachs to the familiar restaurant, the same one as before. I thought we would order light dishes, but each dish was so delicious that we ended up overeating.

While waiting for the food, I took a picture with the mannequin in front of the store. It was very crowded during the day, so I didn't have a chance to take a picture.

The family seems very happy. There are many photo opportunities, the food is delicious, and everyone is having a great time.

Initially, I thought the order was light, but after eating, I could barely crawl back to my room. I was so full.
The Raksa Warin Hot Spring is a must-visit place in Ranong. It has both natural and man-made amenities.

Family activities, souvenirs, and restaurants are available. Visiting this location will take at least 4 hours.

This is the perfect spot for those waiting to board their bus or plane back to Bangkok. It's a great place to grab a bite to eat and relax before heading home.

It's already 8 pm. Let's go back to the hotel to rest and prepare for our trip to the sea tomorrow.

Waking up to a beautiful day, as if the rain-chasing doll's prayer had been answered. The weather was perfect, with no rain in sight. I drove to the lighthouse pier, passing by the market. I stopped to buy sticky rice and fried pork to eat before boarding the boat. I arrived at the pier around 7:30 am, parked my car, and walked to the lighthouse to check in.

There's a coffee shop upstairs, don't forget to stop by and take some photos.

It's time to board the boat. For those who are going to the Dragon Islands, it is recommended to book at least 3 days in advance.

The Love Andaman route requires temporary immigration clearance. Children under the age of 4 are not recommended for this route.

Let's get on board! As this is a special trip organized by Love Andaman, the islands we visit will not be according to the program.

Our first stop today was at Nawi Island, where we admired the beautiful beach and used the restroom facilities. We stayed there for approximately 15 minutes.

Let's head to the Dragon Islands and have lunch and play in the water at Dragon's Nest.

The lunch menu featured seafood, including sea stomach. The dipping sauce was significantly improved this time. As usual, the dessert and beverage bar was well-stocked.

A magnificent creation that never changes.

The daughter played in the sand and splashed in the water, looking happy and smiling. As her father, I was happy too.

The joy of spending time together as a family is truly heartwarming. The sight of smiles and the sound of laughter fill our hearts with contentment.

After a hearty meal, it was time for the long-awaited snorkeling adventure. While I eagerly anticipated the experience, my wife and daughter seemed less enthusiastic.

Sitting on a large boat, the size of the vessel prevents any noticeable rocking.

The highlight of my visit to Koh Mak was the coral reefs. I listened to the guide's instructions and prohibitions, as well as the proper diving procedures.

The fickle weather in the morning was still clear, but in the afternoon the sky became cloudy and there was not much sun, making the coral and fish look less colorful.

Despite the murky water, the scenery is still breathtaking. Imagine how stunning it would be if the weather cooperated. As the saying goes, nature dictates the course of events.

No problem, come back for repairs next time. But overall, the family is very happy with this trip to the sea. Very happy.

It is a pity that this vacation was a bit short. Next time, I will have to find more time. Personally, I think Ranong Province

Ranong offers a plethora of captivating attractions. Its charm lies in its small size, tranquility, simplicity, delicious cuisine, and friendly locals.

I believe that anyone who comes to Ranong will want to come back again. I want everyone to come and experience it for themselves and fall in love with Ranong. Thank you to everyone who has come to watch. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I may be slow to respond, but I will be happy to answer.
