---------------------------------
During the holiday on February 11-12-13, we planned to visit both the city and the mountains in a way that allowed us to see as many places as possible without rushing. After planning everything, we intended to take the new, stylish train. However, it was fully booked, so we had to take a tour bus. Unfortunately, the bus company had a bad reputation based on reviews on Pantip.com. We decided to take the risk and booked a ticket with Intara Tour. The bus was almost 2 hours late, which was understandable due to the holiday traffic. However, what was unacceptable was that three groups of passengers were assigned the same seats. We were confused by their booking system. Fortunately, the staff was patient and handled the situation well. We arrived in Chiang Mai around 10 am, which was much later than expected.

Today, we will visit the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden. First, we rented a motorbike at BIKKY for 250 baht and drove to check in at Cmor Hotel by Andacura near Nimmanhaemin Road to leave our belongings. However, due to the hotel being fully booked, we were unable to check in until after 10:00 AM. So, we decided to find something to eat. We went to Tong Tem Toh, which usually opens at 11:00 AM. We arrived at 10:50 AM and quickly placed our order. By 11:00 AM, the restaurant was already full. Those who arrived later had to wait. (I felt like a winner! 555) The food was served quickly. We ordered a light meal of northern Thai appetizers and tom kha gai.

Followed by "Aeb Moo," a Northern Thai dish similar to "Hor Mok."

The food was delicious, but eating too much of the pork belly can be greasy. After the meal, we headed back, but on the way, Neng Kai Wan wanted to stop by the Rueang Rao shop, so we had to indulge her a little.

The book is a bit edgy, featuring Violette Wautier. OMG!!

The upper level features artwork for your viewing pleasure.

It's past 11 am. I'm back at the Cmor Hotel. The room is ready.

Accommodation options are diverse, with prices ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 baht on Agoda, significantly lower than the usual price of several thousand baht. The rooms are spacious and inviting.

Take a shower first. You're very sticky.

There are restaurants downstairs.

The hotel features a swimming pool, complimentary tuk-tuk service, and free bicycle rentals during daylight hours. Nighttime cycling is not permitted due to the lack of lighting on the bicycles.

After showering, we rode our motorbikes to the Queen Sirikit Botanic Garden, a 35 km journey that took us an hour. Along the way, we saw many interesting places to visit, but we had to resist the temptation due to time constraints. Finally, we arrived!

The highlight of this place is the bridge that is as high as the treetops. We stopped to take some photos, but it was crowded because we went on a holiday.

The location is less crowded, making it ideal for taking photos and enjoying the atmosphere.

The drive leads to a diverse collection of plant species.

The site features numerous domes and abundant vegetation. To fully explore the area, it is recommended to allocate at least 2-3 hours. Due to time constraints, we captured as many images as possible.

It was already 4 pm, and the next destination was on the way: Zombie Cafe. The highlight of this cafe is that you can sit and eat in a stream, which looks very chic. It was good at first, but after soaking for a while, I thought, "Why am I soaking my feet here?!" It's cold, and my feet are going to rot. I don't know why I have to eat with my feet in the water. 5555

The food was slow, but maybe because it was crowded due to the festival. We ordered some food for fun and to soak up the atmosphere: some kind of chicken with cheese sauce and 2 glasses of caramel milk.

Around 300-400 baht, I think it's a bit expensive.

Riding a motorcycle back to the city. Today happens to be Makha Bucha Day, so I added a plan to visit Wat Phantao at midnight. The highlight is the colorful light from the candles in the ovens that are lined up here.

At around 8 pm, a monk will walk by to perform a religious ceremony.

After that, we went to the Wualai Walking Street, where there were local food and products to see. However, I only ate a little as nothing really caught my fancy.

It was almost 10 pm, and many restaurants had already closed. However, there was still one famous restaurant open all night: "The Best Bone Soup Noodles." I'm not exaggerating; that's literally the name of the restaurant.

This restaurant truly lives up to its name. The food is delicious, affordable, and the portions are generous.

Ordering based on the shop's name is a safe bet.

I prefer the spicy bone soup, the taste is amazing.

After a long and tiring day, I'm finally full and ready to head back to my room for a relaxing bath and a good night's sleep.

On Sunday morning, we will ascend Doi Ang Khang. However, we will likely not ride motorcycles there. Beforehand, we will grab a bite to eat. Another famous restaurant in Chiang Mai is RISTR8TO.

I enjoy the coffee, but I expected a wider selection of snacks. Waffles are the only option, making it unsuitable for a full meal.

After finishing your meal, return the motorbike and take a tuk-tuk for over 100 baht to Chang Phuak Bus Terminal to catch a bus to the way up to Ang Khang.

The bus from Chiang Mai to Tha Ton costs less than 100 baht and stops at Wat Hat Samran. You can tell the driver you are going to Ang Khang. Upon arrival, ask at the shared taxi stand. They quoted 1,300 baht for a private car, but 1,700 baht since we were staying at Baan Nicharee, which is further away. Alternatively, you can wait for a shared taxi for 80 baht per person or take a motorbike taxi for 300 baht per person to the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station. To reach Baan Nicharee, it would cost 400 baht. We decided to grab something to eat first. If anyone was waiting for the shared taxi, we would share the cost. Otherwise, we would take a motorbike taxi. We ate at Muan Som Tam, which is near the taxi stand. They have a variety of dishes, including stir-fried clams, salted egg som tam, and spicy soup with軟骨.

Delicious and affordable, but personally, I'm not a big fan of the cockle salad's flavor. After finishing the meal, there was no sign of my travel companions, so it turned out as you see.

I took a motorcycle taxi and asked the driver about riding a motorbike uphill. He said that his motorbike has a 110 CC engine but he changed the sprockets to make it better for climbing hills. It was quite difficult, but we arrived safely at our destination. We stayed at the Nicharree Resort because according to the information I found, it is located in a strawberry farm. However, I was disappointed because I thought it was in the Noh Lae Strawberry Farm, so we had to drive for another kilometer or so. It seemed close, but there were so many hills. However, I later came to like this place because it is quiet and only 3 kilometers away from the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station. There were also other guests staying there, so it wasn't too lonely. The resort owner was also very kind.

The atmosphere of the house near the accommodation.

This is the accommodation, and it has a hot water heater. It's cold in Ang Khang all year round, so this is essential.

Leaving our luggage behind, we set off on rented motorbikes (250 baht) to explore the strawberry fields of Nor Lae for some early morning photography. The journey to the Ang Khang Royal Agricultural Station was challenging, with steep and winding roads. The entrance fee was 50 baht per person, and the station offered a plethora of flowers and scenic spots for photography.

The photo was taken in a plum orchard. There are many other gardens, such as rose gardens and various flower gardens. However, to avoid overwhelming you with photos of the panda, let's move on to food.

After taking photos of the inner garden, we came out to find a bustling night market with a wide variety of food stalls. The cool weather made hot drinks especially popular.

We ordered a 350 baht "moo kata" (Thai BBQ) delivery, but the restaurant wouldn't deliver to our house, which is located on the outskirts of town. So, we picked it up from their house, which is near the walking street. The set included pork, a grill, vegetables, meatballs, and glass noodles. We had to leave our ID card as a deposit for the grill and pan, and then carried the grill back home.

A peaceful and very cold place to stay. Eating hot pork shabu like this is also very enjoyable, isn't it, viewers?

On the morning of the 13th, we rushed to the Nolae strawberry farm, where we had surveyed the corners the previous day.

The locals are picking strawberries, but we are not allowed to pick them. The fine for picking is 200 baht per strawberry. If you want to eat strawberries, there are some for sale at the top. We bought a small box for 50 baht to try, and they were delicious and fresh.

In front, there are also grilled eggs. Eating hot grilled eggs in the cool evening is quite enjoyable.

After finishing here, I went to the 2000 tea plantation, which is not far away.

Tea is available for tasting and purchase.

Upon returning to my accommodation, I was pleasantly surprised to encounter the resort owner, who generously gifted me with an abundance of cape gooseberries. Their kindness was truly heartwarming.

After packing our belongings and checking out, we drove to the Agricultural Station to return down the mountain. However, before doing so, we stopped for lunch at the Angkhang Club, where dishes cost around 100 baht each.

In front of the club, there is a beautiful garden with many flowers, perfect for taking pictures.

We returned the car to the owner's relative's shop near the Kaset Station. We then took a red car down. Normally, it costs 80 baht per person, but most people rent it. So we hitched a ride with a small group of people in a two-row car. The driver charged 300 baht for two people. We got off and hailed a bus to Chang Phuak Bus Terminal. Then we took a tuk-tuk to Baan See-La, which we booked through Agoda for around 900 baht (including everything).

The Sala House is a vintage-style accommodation with an antique feel, located in the Nimmanhaemin Soi.

After packing our belongings, we went for a leisurely stroll around Nimmanhaemin. What was immediately noticeable was the abundance of intriguing shops, each with its own distinct style and appeal.

The sausage, for which a queueing system is required, was purchased in two portions. In my opinion, the flavor is not significantly different from other sausages, but perhaps my palate is not refined enough to discern the subtle nuances.

Keep walking.

The Salad concept was packed, but the food arrived quickly.

Salmon salad + Wasabi dressing

Rice berry and salmon

Blended Dragon Fruit Juice

Three items for 455 baht. I thought I would have a light meal and then go find something else to eat, but I'm full now.

Next up is sticky rice with mango from fruiturday for over 80 baht.

After a satisfying dinner, we woke up early the next morning before flying back to work. We stopped by Keng Dim Sum restaurant in the Nimmanhaemin area for breakfast.

The lowest price is 25 baht per basket.

This one piece should be around 30 baht.

Salmon

The lava bun was a fail because the filling was hard when I opened it.

After finishing our meal, we returned to Bangkok. This concludes our two-day trip to Chiang Mai and Ang Khang, where we spent two nights in the city. We brought back strawberries for everyone.
