The author humorously begins by stating that the topic is not about finding love. He then clarifies that "meeting again" refers to encountering snow. The author recounts his encounters with snow, including a blizzard in Tokyo in February 2014, which left him wary of snow for a while. He has also encountered snow in Europe and Japan on multiple occasions, developing a familiarity with it. While he prefers the scenery of autumn leaves, he has not yet had the opportunity to experience it due to his busy work schedule. He emphasizes the beauty and purity of snow in Japan, contrasting it with the trampled snow on the ground.

Let's get started. I'll begin with the city of Nagoya. The main ways to get to Takayama are by bus and JR train. For the train, you can take the JR train to JR Takayama Station. However, if you don't have a JR Pass, the price is quite high (I didn't buy one either). So I took the bus instead.

I started by taking the subway from the hotel and getting off at Nagoya Station. After that, look for the Meitetsu Bus Center sign. Just follow the signs. At the end of the signs, you will turn right and find an elevator. Don't be confused when you reach the elevator (I was confused too). Press the button to go up to the 3rd floor (the signs don't say to press the 3rd floor, or maybe I didn't notice). I pressed the button and went up randomly following other people. Many people got off the elevator, so I followed them. The Meitetsu Bus Center is on the 3rd floor. Once you reach the Meitetsu Bus Center, go inside and book your tickets. Since I booked only one day in advance, we couldn't sit next to each other. However, on the day of travel, the Japanese people saw that we were together and asked to change seats so that I could sit with my girlfriend. I was very grateful. The bus ticket to Takayama costs 2570 JPY per person, which is much cheaper than taking the JR. When you are ready to travel the next day, go to Bus Stop No. 7. The bus will stop at Bus Stop No. 7.

The journey took approximately three hours. The bus will stop at the Nohi Bus Center, which is located next to JR Takayama Station. This is also the same bus stop for traveling to Shirakawa-go. (Review on the next page, hehe) The current weather conditions include light snowfall. The snowfall is not very visible in the pictures, but it is quite dense.

My hotel was conveniently located across the street from the bus terminal, allowing me to easily carry my luggage. However, it was not yet check-in time, so I decided to explore the city. I didn't have any specific plans, so I wandered into a random alley near JR Takayama. As I walked, I came across a bridge over the Miyagawa River (I'm not sure if that's the correct name). The weather was cool and pleasant, around 3-4 degrees Celsius, with a gentle breeze.

Turning right, I arrived at the iconic Aka-bashi (Red Bridge) of Nakabachi, a landmark of this city. The feeling was truly amazing. The snow was fluffy and the scenery was breathtaking.

The area around Saphan Daeng is a peaceful town with friendly people and pleasant weather. I enjoyed it very much. In some places, the snow was piled high enough to make snowballs and have a snowball fight.

Let's see how many of you are here.

This photo was actually taken on a clear day, but I experimented with high shutter speeds, which resulted in a darker image. (I'm not very good at photography, haha!) The bottom middle photo was taken normally.

The snowfall that night was so heavy that it was impossible to see anything. The next day, the city was covered in a thick blanket of snow.

Today, I will take you to visit Hida Kokubunji Temple. This is a small temple with a small area. There is a bell tower, a black pagoda, large trees, and a shrine. That's all, but it's very beautiful. Let's go see the atmosphere in the temple.

The majestic black pagoda stands tall, while snow falls intermittently, alternating between light and heavy flurries.

This image depicts a large tree, which is undeniably beautiful. However, I have manipulated the image by拼接 it together to create an artistic effect. Whether or not this is successful is up to the viewer's interpretation.
