Chapter 9 Dinner in the Rain at Shilin Night Market, Taipei, Taiwan
Today is the third day of the trip. Yesterday, I took everyone to the north. Today, I will take my friends to the south of Taipei. Let me give you a little hint. This review follows the series "It Start with a Kiss" when Jiang Zhe Shu and Xiang Qin got married. (Fans have to watch it, so I have to watch it too.) This is Bitan Park, which is not well-known to tourists. But I have to follow the drama for my girlfriend, so I have to come here. Haha.
This is a popular hangout spot for Taipei's young people. This morning, it was drizzling, so Bitan was just the two of us hanging out. It was a bit strange but romantic. We decided to go for it anyway.
To reach this location, take the Green Line of the MRT Subway and disembark at the final stop, Xindian Station. Exit through the gate marked "Bitan Special Scenic Area".
The tall bridge you see is a very large bridge that was recently opened on Google Maps. It is called the Formosa Freeway.
On the left, you can enjoy the view of the Bitan Bridge and there are duck boat booths waiting to serve tourists in the evening. The breeze is cool and comfortable. However, at this moment, I have to say goodbye because it is drizzling and it will definitely not be romantic. 555
Nearly full panorama, there's a little more view on the far left. Follow me! Hehe.
The back view looks like a hotel or office. I don't know what it is because it's in Chinese on Google Maps.
Although it is raining, the catfish are still out foraging along the banks. The grandfathers and grandmothers here also have the hobby of fishing.
Upon arriving at the actual location, it did not resemble the depiction in the drama. This is understandable, considering the rain and the passage of time since filming. However, my partner was deeply moved and thoroughly impressed.
This is Bitan Bridge. Bitan actually means "green lake," which is fitting, as the water below the bridge is indeed green.
The Bitan Bridge is a wooden bridge with high flexibility. When you walk on it, you will feel it swaying. However, I saw people walking on it normally. But if there are many tourists, I am a little worried (my fear of heights is acting up 555).
This area also has restaurants, but the prices tend to be higher than in the city.
The view on the left is of low-lying mountains. The air is truly cool and comfortable.
It truly feels like being outside the city, not at all like being in Taipei.
On a drizzly day, there was absolutely no one around, so I took some photos in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Panoramic view on this side
A pair of lovebirds, flanked by a mischievous cupid.
The opposite side also has a viewpoint facing our side.
Take a walk in the middle of the bridge, it's a bit scary. 555
Looking to the right in the middle of the bridge, you can see the Formosa Freeway in its entirety. I was so scared that my phone camera would fall! 555
This is the view on the left side.
On the way back, maple leaves were scattered along the road, which looked beautiful.
My review consists of approximately 8-9 parts, each focusing on a specific tourist attraction. Please stay tuned for the next episode. I will try my best to find time to review as soon as possible.
