This is the third installment of my blog series, "Exploring with Kananoy." Today, I'm taking you on a culinary adventure to a delicious restaurant on Koh Samui called "Cham Thong."

As you may recall from my previous post, we went for a refreshing hike to a waterfall. After all that exercise, we worked up quite an appetite!

So, let's satisfy our hunger with some delicious food! 🍽️

'Golden Bowl Restaurant'

Location Koh Samui, Plai Laem Subdistrict. To find it easily, look for...

'Plai Laem Post Office'. The restaurant is located opposite the post office, slightly to the right.

Khana can't bear the hunger any longer. Park your car and cross the street now!!

(Parking is available along the road. There is not much traffic on this road, so parking is convenient and you don't have to worry.)

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Kan Na looked for a seat. This is the outside of the restaurant, a small garden pavilion with fresh air and a cool breeze.

But Kanom Jeen is an air-conditioned gibbon, so I'd rather sit inside myself. 5555

This corner is a bar-style seat. If you come alone, you can sit and relax comfortably.

Or, if you don't want to sit and feel awkward, you can sit and look beautiful like kale.

Cozy sofa seating for lounging or catching up with friends.

Tables for groups of three to four (can be joined) are also available to suit your preference.

The menu is in English because Koh Samui has a lot of foreign tourists.

Every shop, even the roti on a tricycle, has an English sign. Notice the price... easy on the wallet

The most popular question right now is..."What to eat?"

But now the shop doesn't make any kind of Khanom Jeen Nam Ya anymore. I went to order it, but the owner told me that...

They don't make it anymore. They are renovating the shop into a Cafe & Restaurant instead.

They are focusing on Thai fast food and breakfast for foreigners. Cheese and butter lovers will definitely be happy!

Unsure of what to eat, Kale (who had intended to eat rice noodles but there were none) requested the restaurant's Top Menu.

Being an easygoing eater, she accepted whatever the owner recommended. And what a dish it was! The aroma of cheese, butter, milk, and eggs filled the air.

Ham Cheese Croissant and Smoked Ham & Eggs Benedict

First up, the Ham Cheese Croissant. The croissant dough was fragrant and soft, easy to bite into. The ham was real ham, not a cheap imitation.

The cheese was flavorful, perfectly balancing the saltiness of the ham. Fresh vegetables were added to cut through the richness. Oh! It was a perfect combination, so delicious! TOT

Next up, French toast with eggs prepared in a way that made them soft and fluffy, almost like jelly. 5555

At first glance, I thought, 'Will this be too rich?' But after taking a bite, I exclaimed, 'Wow! This is so good!' It was fragrant, rich, and slightly tangy.

Kale was stunned by this dish, forgetting to swallow. She savored the soft eggs for a long time, completely captivated by the dish. It was truly a favorite, from the bottom of her heart.

After a savory meal, it's time for something sweet! As a food enthusiast, how could I miss this? (In the voice of Lady Ananthatip)

I must say that among all the bakery menus, Kanom is the one who loves brownies the most. I can eat them all the time.

When I saw the Brownie-Strawberry menu at this restaurant, there was no way I wouldn't order it. And I wasn't disappointed at all. The brownies here are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chocolate is very rich and the texture is chewy. The pieces are not too thick, just right. I'm so happy!

This dish is Honey Toast with Vanilla Ice Cream and Kiwi. The bread itself is probably no different from any other toast menu.

It is fragrant with butter, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, as is typical of Honey Toast.

But what I like is the freshness and abundance of the fruit. It's so refreshing to eat, and it goes perfectly with the ice cream.

This dish is Chocolate toast. It's similar to the first dish, but with a full emphasis on chocolate. It's amazing!

Moving on to drinks, this shop has every smoothie imaginable. Order anything, they can blend it. But today, Kanjana is having iced milk tea.

Even Coke comes in a bucket with berries. Where else can you find this? 5555
