Hello Summer! It's so hot... I just want to sit and chill by the sea... play some water activities to cool down a bit. But I want to tell you... you don't have to go far anymore. Because in the heart of Bangkok, there is a Beach Club Chic Chic, a seaside atmosphere that everyone will envy. The place is "Flow House Bangkok". How amazing is it... let's go see the review together!!
Flow House Bangkok is located in Soi Sukhumvit 26, Khlong Toei district, within the A Square project. Nearby landmarks include The Emporium Shopping Mall, K-Village, Big-C Rama4, and Channel 3.
Opening hours are Monday - Sunday, 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM.
Upon arrival, please proceed to The Flow Desk for check-in. Kindly bring your national identification card. Check-in is required 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Late arrivals exceeding 5 minutes after the pre-booked time will be considered no-shows, resulting in forfeiture of your reserved slot. However, you may opt to wait for the next available session on the same day, subject to confirmation with the staff.
- Surf sessions are divided into one-hour slots, with the clock starting at the top of the hour. The standard cost is 750 baht per person per hour, which includes all equipment and instruction. Spectators can enter for free.
- Promotions can be found on the Flow House Bangkok Facebook page and website. Currently, there are two promotions available:
- Summer Special for children under 12 years old: 500 baht per hour, available from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (except Thursdays).
- THURSDAY LADIES NIGHT: Every Thursday, women can surf for 300 baht per hour from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (except public holidays).
Let's change our clothes first.
The shower room provides soap and shampoo. After showering, you can blow-dry your hair. Lockers are available for rent with a 100 baht deposit. Towels can be rented for 50 baht if you forget to bring your own.
Flow House Bangkok offers two lanes for surfing, depending on the number of participants in each session.
While waiting, let's take a quick look at how to play.
Please wash your body again before playing.
It's time to play. When you're ready, hand the tag to the instructor. You're ready to be a Flow Girl.
The first position is the prone board, also known as the bodyboard.
This is the most basic posture, but the water hits the legs very hard. It hurts a little, but it feels good.
You can now lie down and start sitting. The instructor is very kind and patient.
She finally managed to sit down, her face contorted with effort.
After that, the instructor let her try on her own, and she managed to hold the pose for a few seconds.
The starting position is standing parallel on the board. The instructor will teach us to lean back and hold the rope.
Once you can stand, you need to practice controlling the left, right, front, and back. As for how to play, I want you to try it yourself. I won't spoil it. Let's just say that almost everyone can do it like this the first time they play.
At the top, everyone must visit. No matter how you fall, don't forget to tuck your chin and bend your knees to protect yourself.
After playing until exhausted, I sat down to watch the skilled players perform their impressive tricks.
Take a break with a refreshing glass of our pineapple smoothie. It's guaranteed to cool you down!
Alternatively, you can order a whole fresh coconut, which will provide your body with just as much sugar.
Both food and drinks are available at Surf Cafe.
Adjacent to the pool, there are daybeds and hammocks where you can relax and sip on refreshing drinks, creating an ambiance reminiscent of a seaside getaway.
Or, you can chill out and watch the surfers from above, which is just as cool.
You've found the perfect seat. Now you're hungry. Order something! What are you waiting for?
A tempting 1-for-1 promotion caught my eye for the Angel Surf menu. I couldn't resist ordering it.
Take a sip and instantly become an Angel.
Another menu with Blue Surf, which is a signature cocktail. Those who like a slightly sweet and sour taste should not miss it.
In addition to drinks, there are also simple Easy Grab menus such as Nugget French Fries, Prawn Spring Roll, and Chicken Wings.
Thin-crust pizza, or Margarita Pizza, feels like a body reset after eating it, as it fully replenishes your energy.
For those who did not bring a swimsuit, you can purchase one at the Rip Curl Store located at the front.
This concludes my review of Flow House Bangkok. I can confidently say that my experience there was nothing short of amazing. It was both fun and exciting, and it allowed me to try something new that I've always wanted to do. I would like to thank Flow House Bangkok for bringing this simulated wave experience to Thailand, so that we don't have to travel far to enjoy surfing.
