An unplanned journey amidst an unexpected storm, two friends embark on an adventure together. (LADY2GO)

The journey began from Surat Thani, with rain falling since morning. We chose to drive ourselves along the Phato route. The road was winding and mountainous, requiring careful driving. The atmosphere on this road was good, full of mountains and forests. It would have been better if it hadn't been raining.
As we drove, we reached Ranong, where the rain stopped and started intermittently.
We had to take a boat to Koh Phayam at the Saphan Pla pier. We arrived in time for the 2:00 PM mail boat (there are two mail boats from the mainland, at 9:30 AM and 2:00 PM). The boat fare was 200 baht per person. Since we brought our own car, we parked it at Uncle Ngoh's house for 100 baht per night. We still had time before boarding the boat, so we stopped to eat at a restaurant near the pier. The prices were quite high. Food, drinks, and snacks should be prepared from the mainland, because everything on the island will have shipping costs added, making the prices almost double those on the mainland. Be prepared! The mail boat took about 2 hours to reach the island. Of course, it was still raining intermittently. We had booked accommodation on the island for 1 night at Lazy Hut Bangalo. Our room was a sea view with two double beds for 1600 baht per night. This room can accommodate 5-6 people, but there were only two of us T^T (Accommodation prices range from 600-1600 baht).

We rented a motorbike (200 baht per day for automatic gear). A staff member from the accommodation rode a motorbike to lead us to the accommodation. We started to ride our motorbikes following him on a narrow and damaged road. The way to the accommodation had to pass through a rubber plantation. At first, we were confused whether the accommodation was really by the sea or not because there were only rubber plantations. Halfway through the motorbike ride, it started to rain again. Of course, we got soaked like puppies falling into the water. When we arrived at the accommodation, we put our belongings away. The sky was overcast, the sea was not beautiful, and the waves were strong. But!! The smell of the sea was strong. We could feel that we were really at the sea. I personally love the smell of the sea. The wind blew the smell of the sea, and it was so refreshing. We sat and lay down in front of the room. We walked along the beach. The rain stopped and started alternately throughout the time.

Waiting for electricity (electricity will be available from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM). With the rain like this, we have concluded that we will shower and order food to eat here. Today, there are many people staying here who are in the same situation, coming to the sea with rain. After showering, let's go out of the room and order food to eat. For dinner today, we ordered a medium-sized plate of fried rice with shrimp (250 baht, very large, we couldn't finish it, we had to ask the aunt to keep it in the refrigerator to warm up for breakfast), fish fried in fish sauce (350 baht), 2 plates of plain rice, a can of Leo beer (60 baht), and a can of Sprite (30 baht). We sat and ate rice, sipped beer, sipped Sprite, and enjoyed the breeze. After eating, we changed our seats to the front of the room to enjoy the breeze. After a while, a group of friends from the same accommodation came to sit and play the guitar and sing songs. I guess the wind was too strong, we couldn't hear the music. We sat and talked with our friends until it was time to sleep, so we went to bed. As for tomorrow, we will wait and see the weather before deciding whether to stay and continue our trip or return to the mainland. Good night, sweet dreams.

Waking up in the morning, I opened the curtains beside my bed and looked out the window to see the sea. What a room with a great view! I decided to take a walk on the beach. The sky seemed to be clearing up, and the sun began to shine. I went into the bathroom to get ready for my trip, but as soon as I did, it started to rain heavily. Oh, come on! Was that sunshine just a tease? Anyway, I took a shower, got dressed, and had breakfast. For breakfast, I had leftover fried rice from the night before, which I asked the aunt to warm up for me. I also had a cup of Ovaltine, wanting something warm to settle my stomach. (Ovaltine 3in1, 20 baht)

After a while, the sky cleared up. This time, it was really sunny, so we decided to go for a ride before heading back. We asked our aunt to book a speedboat for us at 12:30 p.m. (350 baht). Due to our limited time, we had to choose the must-visit tourist attractions on Koh Phayam. We chose Hin Talu at Ao Khao Kwai and Wat Koh Phayam.

If the sky had been this clear from the first day I arrived, it would have been great. I'll have to wait for another time to visit Koh Phayam. It's time to board the boat. I rode my motorbike to the pier and parked it there. I walked to the boat and boarded it. It took about 45 minutes to reach the shore.

And I will return again, Koh Phayam ... LADY2GO...
