Wow! A new beach in Sattahip?! Really?!

We've been hearing rumors for a while now about a new beach in Sattahip that recently opened to the public. Naturally, we were curious to see for ourselves if the rumors of its beauty and clear waters were true. After all, "seeing is believing," right?

This beach, called Haad Nam Sai, is located within the Naval Special Warfare Unit of the Sattahip Naval Task Force. Without further ado, let's pack our bags, jump in the car, and head there!

From the motorway or Highway 3, pass Pattaya and head towards Sattahip district. When you reach the traffic light (look for Queen Sirikit Naval Hospital), turn left and follow the signs for Juk Samet Pier or the Institute of Marine Science.

Upon arrival, you will encounter a military checkpoint. As the beach is newly opened to the public and remains within a military zone, security checks are strict.

On weekends, due to the high volume of visitors, vehicles are not permitted on the beach. Instead, visitors are required to park their cars at designated parking areas and utilize the complimentary shuttle service provided by the military personnel.

The beach offers accommodation with parking available for guests.

Upon arriving here, I was awestruck by the sight and feel of the place. It truly lives up to its hype! The vast beach and crystal-clear water exceeded my expectations.

Upon arrival, the first thing to do is to check in and unpack. The rooms here come in three types: beachfront houses, twin houses, and large houses with three bedrooms.

The beachfront house we stayed in costs 1,400 baht per night on weekdays. However, the price increases to 2,000 baht per night on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays.

The room had a crane, air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator, and a water heater. Although the bed was a bit small and there was a slight odor from the drain, the room was located right on the beach, just a few steps from the sea. There was also a table for picnicking by the sea, so it was all good.

Even though it's the weekend, you don't have to worry about not being able to relax by the sea. The resort has a reserved area exclusively for guests, making it feel like a private beach.

Let's go for an evening stroll! The sunset here is beautiful, but I didn't take any pictures because I was too busy eating. 555++

The romantic atmosphere of the seaside in the evening is already present, but if you can sit by the sea and listen to sweet, sentimental music (but don't turn it up too loud or you'll disturb others!), it will add even more romance. Oh my! In this situation, "I wouldn't trade it for anything," to borrow a phrase from Billy (betraying my age!).

Good morning!

A morning stroll along the beach like this is so refreshing! The sand is soft underfoot, and taking slow, deep breaths fills you with a sense of lightness. This kind of air is rare.

Let's go explore the beach together.

A short walk from the accommodation will lead you to a variety of restaurants. If you are not interested in purchasing seafood at Saemsarn, you can order food from one of the many restaurants in the area. The options range from spicy papaya salad to fresh seafood dishes.

The shops are closed because it is a weekday and still very early. Some shops will open later.

No need to worry about the heat. Although the beach area does not have many trees, there are thatched huts available. You can spread out a mat and order food to relax and enjoy the scenery.

There are charming cafes where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the sea breeze.

If you're looking for nautical-themed souvenirs, you'll find them here too!

After a short walk, we started to feel hungry. We decided to have breakfast, which was included in the accommodation fee. The breakfast options consisted of rice porridge with pork or chicken, bread, and coffee. Guests were welcome to eat as much as they wanted.

Approximately 200 meters from our accommodation, you will notice this figure. This is where we will have breakfast.

The dining area features a small lake with paddle boats available for guests to enjoy after their meal. This provides an opportunity for recreation and burning calories.

After a satisfying meal, we decided to walk back to our accommodation, soaking in the natural beauty as much as possible. There was no need to rush (although the sun was scorching!). We strolled leisurely, savoring the remaining time before checking out.

During the morning, the wind is relatively calm, only ruffling my hair slightly. However, as dusk approaches, the wind intensifies significantly, effectively repelling mosquitoes.

Before reaching the beach, we passed by a clownfish farm near Sattahip. We can quickly visit it before checking out.

Por Khun La Farm is a farm that breeds and propagates clownfish and other marine fish species. They also offer fish for sale. The entrance fee is 20 baht for adults and 10 baht for children.

A short walk takes you to a circular path where you can observe a variety of clownfish species, as well as parrotfish, groupers, angelfish, and even sharks.

After playing with the little fish and the big fish for a while, it was time to check out. However, after checking out, we decided to sit by the sea for a while longer, as we still felt unsatisfied. We wanted to stay a little longer!

Finally, it's time to go home.

Sigh, it's time to go home! The time for clear water beaches is over, but I'm sure I'll be back again.

Visiting Haad Namsai guarantees an unforgettable experience, leaving you with a sense of pure bliss.

Thank you for reading my travel story.

Goodbye! Have a wonderful time exploring!

Update! After my last visit in early April 2017, the beach has reorganized its vendors, moving them to the restaurant area at the top of the beach. It's not a long walk, and the vendors offer delivery services for your convenience. Enjoy the heat this summer!
