The legendary culinary journey of "Suan Son" restaurant began in the Nang Loeng district under the name "Yong Heng" approximately 50 years ago. It then relocated to Plern Jit and operated as "Suan Son" for around 20 years before closing and reopening in Bang Pho on Pracharat Sai 1 Road, between Soi 7 and Soi 7/1. The restaurant occupies two shophouses, offering a spacious and relaxed ambiance.

The Suan Son restaurant offers Hainanese-style Chinese cuisine that maintains its quality and deliciousness. In addition to the "Hainanese Chicken Rice," which is the star of the restaurant and can be found on every table, there are other à la carte dishes that are worth trying, such as:

Stir-fried sea bass with Chinese celery features fresh sea bass fillets stir-fried with Chinese celery. The dish boasts the sweet and fresh flavor of the fish, perfectly complemented by the unique taste and aroma of Chinese celery. Served with steaming hot rice, this dish is sure to win over anyone who tries it.

Following closely behind is the "Stir-fried Dried Fish Maw," a dish with a delicious and well-balanced flavor. The more you eat, the more enjoyable it becomes, and before you know it, your plate will be clean.

Spicy Catfish Stir-Fry: A Culinary Delight

"Spicy Catfish Stir-Fry" is a highly acclaimed dish, particularly enjoyed by "Dinsor Kor Krian." The preparation involves deep-frying catfish until it achieves a crispy texture, followed by stir-frying it with a fragrant curry paste. The resulting dish boasts a delightful combination of crispy catfish, aromatic curry spices, and a satisfyingly spicy flavor that caters to those who appreciate a fiery kick.

Finally, we ordered the "Tom Yum Goong," a classic dish that was anything but ordinary. The large, fresh, and sweet shrimp were accompanied by straw mushrooms, creating a perfect balance of sour, spicy, and salty flavors. This dish is a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant.

In addition to the recommended dishes above, there are many other delicious options available, such as braised goat in red sauce, Hainanese stir-fried vegetables, roasted pork ribs, shredded pork salad, and sirloin steak salad.

This is another restaurant that "ดินสอขอเขียน" highly recommends. We encourage you to experience its deliciousness for yourself.
