Koh Samet Nang Chee, a place we've seen in Pop's review, is breathtakingly beautiful with its unique views. It's a destination we've added to our bucket list, hoping to visit before we die.
This is another reason why I decided to embark on this trip.
This is a three-day, two-night trip that continues from the Cheow Lan Dam. It is a very strenuous trip.
For those who are curious about the details of this trip, please refer to the following link:
https://pantip.com/topic/36418649 Cheow Lan Dam: A spontaneous trip to slow down and enjoy life.
After leaving Khao Chiew Lan Dam, we dropped our friend off at Phuket Airport and waited to take pictures of airplanes until the evening.
This review focuses solely on the breathtaking scenery, without any narrative. It's simply a visual showcase of the stunning views.
Jack simply wants to invite his friends to visit this place once. That's all he wants to say, and he has already provided important information in his review.
On the way, we stopped at Lotus to buy supplies. By the time we reached Samet Nang Chee, it was already dark and raining.
Before we continue our journey, I would like to ask you to follow my page. You can follow Jack's travel and photography journey here: Little Traveler Page.

The Samet Nang Chee viewpoint is a popular spot for tourists to watch the sunrise in the morning and the stars at night. It is also a place where photographers come to hunt for the elusive white elephant.
A place you must see with your own eyes.
Located in Moo 2, Thaio Village, Khlong Khian Subdistrict, Takua Thung District, Phang Nga Province.
Traveling by private car is more convenient as there is no public transportation available.
To reach the destination, take the Phang Nga-Khok Kloy or Khok Kloy-Phang Nga route and turn onto the Ban Tha Yu - Khlong Khian road.
The distance is approximately 15 kilometers. The path to the viewpoint is on the right-hand side. We must park our vehicles below.
The road continues to ascend for another 800 meters, becoming increasingly steep. Two pickup trucks are available to transport passengers.
Entrance fee: 60 baht, Viewpoint fee: 30 baht.
We stayed at the viewpoint on top, so we could enjoy the view as soon as we woke up, without having to walk like before.
Okay, so...
There are two viewpoints. Jack couldn't remember which one was called Point 1 and which one was called Point 2. Let's just call the place where we stayed the "top" for now.
Because it is higher.
Previously, camping was allowed at an old site located approximately 200 meters below our current location. To enjoy the panoramic view from a higher vantage point, one would need to hike uphill.
The summit is now open for overnight stays (it has been open for about 7 months), making it more convenient as you no longer need to hike up the mountain. Vehicles can take you directly to the top!
Please note that the accommodation phone number has been updated. This review was written in 2017, and prices have increased since then.
Please contact the accommodation at this number: 0848469427.
Tent 350 baht, sleeps 2-3 people
The room costs 700 baht per night and comes with two sets of bedding. It can actually accommodate up to three people, but you will need to rent an additional set of bedding.
Shared bathroom. The room has a power outlet and a fan.
Shared bathroom with electrical outlets and a fan.
The room is about this size, and it's quite cluttered. There are four of us sleeping here. The top bunk is where Jack is sleeping. It's a bit strange, like sleeping in an attic.
There are 2 bathrooms and 2 shower rooms.
Mosquitoes are extremely abundant. It is highly recommended to bring mosquito repellent.
In the morning, Bang sells coffee and a small breakfast.
It is recommended to prepare in advance for the evening. If you would like to enjoy seafood, you can place an order.
This service includes a variety of delicious dipping sauces.
We gathered around a barbecue, grilling fresh ingredients purchased from Lotus, seasoned by Chef Jieb.
The late afternoon is a good time to go up to the viewpoint, as the sun is very hot.
All houses face east.
When asked what activities were available, the response was that there weren't many. The main activity was sitting in a circle, eating and talking.
The view is still the same, but we have to say that we are impressed. The view is beautiful, even though it is the same as before. The only difference is the time of day.
Light changes, and so does the image.
After dinner, the sky was overcast, and I was secretly hoping to see the stars. In the late evening, around 11 p.m., it was time to hunt for the white elephant.
The sky is clear, but Jack's photos aren't very good. Hehe. There are many pictures.
Let's take a look at 8 nighttime photos of Jack.
A group photo to end the day. Thank you, P'Boy, for taking such cool pictures for us.
The day ended with a heartwarming feeling, like receiving a gift from the heavens, as I captured a breathtaking image of the Milky Way.
Another task would be to greet the morning sun.
05/01/2017, at around 5:00 AM, I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and grabbed my camera tripod. I stepped out of the hut and set up to capture the stunning light at the cusp of dawn.
Next, you will see 15 photos before the sun greets us. The angles are a bit repetitive, haha.
This light indicates that the sun is about to rise.
And then the moment we've all been waiting for has arrived. Hello, Mr. Sun, how are you?
Three images during the greeting.
20 Images Captured During the Golden Hour
After capturing the scenic view, the photographer turned to capture the people.
Took a picture of the person and then turned to take a picture of the view. 55555
The same angle again and again.
It's getting hot. Let me take a break in the hut for a bit.
People are enjoying the view from inside the tent.
Who else could it be but Noy?
The sun began to rise higher in the sky.
Bright light and silhouette are the answers.
After taking photos to our heart's content, we packed up and took a few more photos.

Camping area
I would love to capture this angle during the afternoon light. It's a shame I arrived after dark.
As I rode down from the viewpoint, I was still puzzled and confused about what had happened that day.
The sign at the rest stop we visited was not the same as the one we had seen in other people's reviews.
I asked the driver about the old and new spots mentioned earlier. He was kind enough to take me around to see them. Thank you very much, brother!
Two images from the old viewpoint.
From Jack's perspective, Samet Nang Chee is another place that is worth visiting at least once. It is a place where there is nothing, but it is incredibly impressive.
Visit at least once in your life. It's truly beautiful.
Thank you to all my friends who have read this far. Jack hopes that this review will inspire many people to travel.
Disembarking from the viewpoint, the car took us directly to the pier at Ban Hin Rom, which was nearby.
The next program is a boat trip around Phang Nga Bay. We will visit Khao Tapu, Khao Phing Kan, and Tham Sua.
There is another cave, I can't remember the name, but there is a program at the pier that you can choose from.
Feel free to copy our trip, as the locations are not far apart.
Experience is not for sale, you have to travel to get it.
