Chiang Mai, a backpack, a motorbike, and another trip to Chiang Mai.
After returning from Chiang Mai last time, the intention to ride a motorcycle up Doi Inthanon is still full in my heart 555 because last time, due to many things, I could only go to the foot of the mountain. Okay, this time I'm serious. I have to go all the way. The rainy atmosphere, the green rice fields of Mae Klang Luang village, should be beautiful. So Jack got a plan to ride a motorcycle up the mountain and then stop by Mae Klang Luang village. This time it's a long weekend during the Buddhist Lent period. I got a 3-day, 2-night trip to relax. So I invited my sister to join me. We use the easiest way to travel, which is to stay in the city and rent a motorcycle to ride wherever we want. It's like we want to travel in the city and outside the city. This method is suitable for people who are confused about life like Jack. Taking my sister with me, I have to let her sleep comfortably, or else I'll be scolded 5555. It's the first time I've stayed in the Nimmanha area. I just want to know what it's like around here. I've been to Chiang Mai many times, but I've never been to that area. This time I'm staying at CMOR, located in the Nimmanha zone near Maya Mall. I've booked the accommodation and bus tickets. I'm relieved and just waiting for the travel date.

Unexpectedly, one week before the trip, the July 11th holiday was canceled. This sudden change forced us to reschedule our trip one day earlier, causing significant disruption to our plans. We had already booked everything, so we had to scramble to adjust our arrangements.
Finding tickets during this period was no easy feat. Every seat was fully booked. However, we managed to secure tickets with Phor Phiriya Tour. First, we had to cancel our tickets with the Transport Co. by writing a request form. The staff refunded us the money after deducting 10% per ticket. On the day of travel, we faced another challenge: heavy rain and traffic jams. The bus was scheduled to depart at 9:30 PM, and Jack arrived at 9:15 PM. We had to run! My sister was coming from Mahachai by car, and we were worried. We called each other several times, wondering if we would make it. In the end, we missed the departure time. We thought about what to do next. Should we go alone or ask to switch tickets with someone waiting for the extra bus? We were unsure. But in the end, the bus waited for us. We were so grateful! We bowed deeply in appreciation.
The journey to Chiang Mai was a long one, lasting until the late morning.
DAY-1 Hello, Chiang Mai
We took a red car to Central Festival to settle down and open the map. It was not yet check-in time, so we went for a walk and looked for something to eat near Nimmanhaemin Road. This was our first meal, a restaurant called "Kway Teow Tum Loeng" in Nimmanhaemin Soi 1. It was delicious, highly recommended.
Looking for a nearby cafe or bakery to relax at, preferably within walking distance.
We settled down at this shop, pinggoo snow ice, located between Nimmanhaemin Soi 5 and 7, right on the roadside.
The bingsu we ordered came with ripe mangoes. It was delicious and looked very appetizing.
Another menu is honey toast, which is also delicious. In conclusion, two people cannot finish it. It's a lot!
It's time to check in. We opened the map and walked from Yaek Rin Kham, passing the front of Maya Department Store. It took about 300 meters to reach our accommodation, cmor hotel by andacura.
There is also a page on Facebook.
The welcome drink is orange juice, and the staff's smiles are warm and inviting.
"What a cute sign! This is the hidden charm within CMOR's luxury."
Let's take a look at our guest rooms. They come equipped with a kitchenette, including a microwave, electric stove, electric kettle, and refrigerator.
Bathroom
Shampoo, shower gel, and lotion are available.
The bathroom has a see-through window, but don't worry, there are blinds that can be closed for privacy.
Looking down from the balcony, we could see the swimming pool, but we didn't have any swimsuits. Haha.
The sentence is already in English and does not require translation.
Instead, we opted for a photoshoot by the pool, capturing some stylish and cool shots.
Children are playing in the water, seemingly having a lot of fun.
He secretly squirted us with a water gun, haha. But he's cute, so we forgave him.
The hotel also offers free bicycles for guests to use.
In the evening, we will go for a walk at Kad Rin Kham. From the hotel, there are tuk-tuks available to take us to Maya Shopping Mall.
A short walk from Central Festival Chiang Mai.
We're almost at Kad Rin Kham now, it's just around the corner.
The items sold at Kad Rin Kham are typical, but what impressed me was the affordable food. The portions were generous, and the taste was delicious.
This set costs 80 baht.
Come and find delicious food in this area.
Stay here until dark, Kardin, at night.
As darkness fell, we walked back together, planning our adventures for the next day.
Menya shopping mall at night.
DAY-2 Start your day with breakfast at the hotel's Eat mor cafe & bistro.
I appreciate the restaurant's food presentation style. They use adorable decorations and serve the food in unique containers.
The hotel boasts a luxurious ambiance, yet it is adorned with local handicrafts, creating a charming atmosphere. Moreover, the staff's warm smiles enhance the welcoming experience.
Breakfast will include tea, coffee, milk, and fruit juice.

Bakery, yogurt, cereal
I secretly like pancake. It's a bit sweet and delicious.
Salad and fruits.
Thai cuisine offers a variety of breakfast options, including stir-fried rice, noodle dishes, and rice porridge. For those who prefer American breakfast, sausages, ham, and fried eggs are also available.
Alternatively, for those who prefer an American breakfast, options include sausages, ham, and fried eggs.
There is also an outdoor seating area.
Alright, after breakfast, it's time to hit the road. We are close to the bikky motorbike rental shop.
This shop does not require a deposit. We rented a motorbike from this shop and rode it to Doi Inthanon, taking the bypass road. It's not that far, but riding a motorbike to Doi Inthanon is crazy. And then, after two hours, we arrived at the toll booth, paid the money, and got the national park stamp. I've been here many times, but I've never gotten the stamp. Hehe.
Upon entering the checkpoint, the first priority is to locate a fuel station. Ensure your vehicle's tank is fully replenished.
We finally found a self-service fuel dispenser! We were so relieved.
With a full tank of gas, we set off with peace of mind. Our first destination, Vachirathan Waterfall, boasts a year-round flow, ensuring a refreshing experience every visit.
Accessible by car, offering a comfortable journey.
Let's take a look at the magnificence of Vachirathan Waterfall.
Let's continue our journey.
Riding a motorbike uphill, the air getting cooler. We got caught in the rain again, but we persevered. Our next destination is the viewpoint at kilometer 41.
However, we encountered rain, overcast skies, and thick fog, so we could only stop to rest the car and use the restroom.
Undeterred by the rain, we continued our ascent to the mountain peak, embracing the downpour as we trekked through the misty landscape.
You must take a picture with the sign, otherwise it will be considered that you did not arrive.
Stupa
This is the highest point.
Follow the path and you will find shops and an exit to the main road.
The original plan was to hike the Ang Ka Luang Nature Trail, but due to heavy rain, the plan had to be canceled. The rainy atmosphere was enjoyable, with the rain falling continuously. However, due to concerns about the camera getting damaged, only a few photos were taken. We rode a motorcycle through the rain down the mountain and stopped by the Mae Klang Luang village.
Relaxing at a cozy coffee shop, surrounded by lush green rice fields, creating a refreshing and invigorating atmosphere.
Today was a day filled with rain, bringing a sense of rejuvenation. After enjoying the beauty of the rice fields, Jack hurried back to the city for a delightful dinner at Seamore. The rain continued throughout the journey, leaving our hands numb with the cold.
The restaurant is located at the same location as before. Eat mor cafe & bistro accepts orders until 10 pm and closes at 11 pm.
The atmosphere during the day and night differs slightly.
We have some spicy dishes that we would like to recommend for you tonight.
The first dish, New Zealand mussels baked in a clay pot, is incredibly flavorful. The spicy, tangy sauce is packed with aromatic ingredients.
Another menu item, deep-fried wontons with spicy minced pork salad, is a unique and delicious dish. The accompanying dipping sauce is flavorful and spicy, making it a perfect combination. I have never had this combination before, but the wontons and minced pork salad complement each other surprisingly well.
Next on the menu, Caesar salad. To be honest, I don't usually eat salads, so I didn't know that salads could be so spicy. I tried it and loved it! It completely changed my perspective on eating salads.
A large shrimp takes center stage.
Every dish was delicious, flavorful, and authentic. I was initially concerned that the hotel food might be bland, but I was pleasantly surprised.
If you are staying here, don't forget to visit our restaurant. We guarantee you won't be disappointed.
This establishment offers freshly brewed coffee and coffee beans for purchase. To conclude this evening, here is a charming corner in front of the dining room.
Day 3
The final morning of our vacation began, as always, with breakfast at the hotel.
This morning's noodle menu is Pad See Ew. We are impressed by the taste of the food here. Every dish they make is delicious.
After finishing lunch, I returned the motorbike. It started raining again, but not heavily. I came back to pack my belongings and check out. Finally, Jack from CMOR wanted to send me off with some cute photos. I took a lot of pictures, haha.
Goodbye, Seymour. We will be back again. Hehe. This is another hotel in Chiang Mai that we would like to recommend.
The final image before the end of the review.
A must-visit photo spot in the city is Tha Pae Gate, a landmark that signifies your arrival in Chiang Mai.
We then settled down at the arcade. While there were other places to explore, we decided to rest instead. The heavy rain continued, so we spent our time relaxing until it was time to leave. We arrived in Bangkok in the late morning, showered, changed, and went straight to work. Wow, what dedication!
Jack concludes the review here, hoping it will inspire many to embark on their own journeys.
"Experience is not for sale, you have to travel to get it."
See you again, Jack still has a lot of stories to tell. If anyone wants to walk beside Jack, you can talk to him on his page.
