Tham Khao Chang Hai is located in Na Muen Si Subdistrict, Na Yong District, Trang Province.

The history of Khao Chang Hong Cave, a mountain rich in natural resources, dates back to the prosperous era of Nakhon Si Thammarat, renowned for its religious significance. Pilgrims seeking spiritual knowledge traveled from the south, using elephants as their mode of transportation and carrying their belongings. Legend has it that upon reaching the middle of a rice field, one of the elephants gave birth to a calf near a pond, now known as Nong Chang Tok, located in the fifth village. The young elephant wandered off and entered a cave, causing the pilgrims to panic.
