...Rainy Season...

A highly popular destination is Khao Kho, which has received positive reviews from many visitors who recommend experiencing it firsthand.

Drive from Bangkok to the Pha Muang Intersection, turn left and head towards Khao Kho District. From the intersection, it is about 20 kilometers before reaching the intersection to Khao Kho. Before reaching the intersection to Khao Kho, pay respect to the Buddha at "Wat Phra That Pha Son Kaew" and admire the beauty of the five Buddha statues.

"Found a quote in the temple bathroom. I really like it, so I'll leave it here for you."

Parking fee at the temple is 30 baht.

Then, drive a little further to enjoy a cup of coffee at the famous "Pino Latte Resort & Café," where the refreshing atmosphere will invigorate your lungs.

Cappuccino 95 baht

The translation of the text is:

The body is ready, so head to the tent site and wait for the fog to clear.

The intention was to sleep at Thung Salaeng Luang and drive to Thung Nang Phaya.

However, we encountered an obstacle as the road to Tung Nang Phaya was impassable. Staying there wouldn't offer the desired sea of mist view. Therefore, we decided to drive back down.

Continuing our journey, we stumbled upon "Khao Takhian Ngoh," a breathtaking 360-degree viewpoint. The scenery was so captivating that we decided to pitch our tent for the night.

The first night, October 6, 2017, we camped at "Khao Takhian Ngoh," a 360-degree viewpoint.

Camping with your own tent: 100 Baht per person.

Renting a tarpaulin: 50 Baht per piece. Size: 2x3 meters.

Cooking is allowed. Electricity is available. Bring an extension cord.

We finally found a place to sleep and drove up to Khao Kho Palace, which wasn't too far away, but it was quite a climb. As soon as we arrived at the palace, it started to rain heavily.

From the palace down to the Takhian Ngoh Hill.

However, when the rain stopped, the atmosphere returned to normal.

Sister Rung also greeted us.

It's time for dinner amidst the beautiful atmosphere.

The night was filled with the sound of soft, intermittent rain, a gentle patter that continued throughout the night. Despite the soothing sound, I had to get some rest, as tomorrow we have an appointment with the morning mist.

4:00 AM sharp! Out of the tent, camera, tripod, ready! The moment we've been waiting for has arrived, the sea of mist is here!

The time from now until sunrise is a period of waiting.

The moon is gradually rising until it is full.

After a while, our fog covered the area, making the air cool. We then prepared breakfast for the new day.

A blissful morning filled with contentment and a breathtaking sea of mist. The heavy rain throughout the night had painted the landscape with a stunning spectacle of clouds.

Our next destination is a campsite where we can pitch our tents and wait for the morning mist. It's time to hit the road!

Once in Khao Kho, you must sleep at the post office... I decided to sleep there... Head to Khao Kho Post Office... About 20 kilometers from Khao Takhian Ngoh.

Upon arrival, the area was teeming with people, likely due to the weekend. Finding a suitable campsite proved challenging, as the prime location behind the post office with the best view was fully occupied. Instead, we opted for a spot on the outskirts near the parking lot, which still offered a decent view.

The second night, October 7, 2017, camping and waiting for the mist at .. "Khao Kho Post Office"

We set up our tents and then went to contact the officials behind the post office building.

Camping with your own tent costs 80 baht per person. Renting a tent from the post office costs 600 baht per tent, including a sleeping set. Note that tarpaulins are not available for rent. After paying, keep your receipt. At 7 pm, staff will check receipts at each tent.

After paying, I went to see the view behind the post office.

Accommodation for the second night has been secured. During the available time, we will drive around with the "windmill field" as our destination.

Within half an hour of getting off the bus, we were hit by another heavy downpour that lasted for an hour. We had to wait for the rain to stop.

And then they were hit... All gone... Let's go back then... The rain hasn't stopped yet, so the convoy moved back to the base...

Even our own military bases are not safe...

The thicker the fog, the more it falls...

The fog rolled in like a sea before bedtime, engulfing both the land and the sky.

And so the second night passed… This night, we slept very comfortably with no rain. The cool breeze made us wake up later than yesterday.

Good morning.

The morning is not very bright... because as soon as I woke up, the rain is about to greet me again...

This morning's breakfast was a rushed affair, with a simple menu chosen for a quick bite before evacuation.

Before eight o'clock in the morning... everything was packed away...

On the morning of October 8, 2017, we returned to the capital... to continue the fight as salarymen.
