It is recommended to arrive early, as it gets very hot later in the morning.

It is important to note that entry is not permitted after 10:00 AM.

After taking a group photo, it was time to conquer the most difficult mountain in the world. Hooray!

The total distance to climb Khao Chang Puak is 8 kilometers.

Yes, 8 kilometers! Was it tiring? Let me tell you, it was very tiring! 55+

What was more difficult than the walk was the weather. It was very hot.

Especially when you pass the halfway point, it becomes a bare mountain, and it is also steep. It's hell at this point.

The first 1.5 kilometers will be a long uphill climb, which is like a warm-up for your legs.

But after just the first 1.5 kilometers, I was panting like a dog. 55+

I only found out 3-4 days in advance that I would be climbing the mountain. I didn't exercise or prepare anything to get fit.

I just came with my heart. 55+

After walking the first 1.5 kilometers, you will come across this sign. This is also the last check-in point before going up.

I think if your name is not on the list, the officers will not let you go up.

After checking in, we continued our journey. From here, we will be walking uphill and downhill for the next 3 kilometers.

It's not too strenuous, and there is plenty of shade from the trees.

After walking for a while, we will come to an open area with a distant view of Khao Chang Puak.

Along the way, there will be signs indicating the different mountains and the remaining distance.

We will enjoy the beautiful views along the way.

This tall structure on the left is what we need to cross over.

After crossing this hill, you will be greeted with a stunning view of the nearby Elephant Tusk Mountain, as shown in the picture.

Almost there...lol+

We've arrived at our campsite! Woohoo! That's it down there, you can see it.

Once we reach the campsite, we can eat or rest.

At 4:00 PM, the staff will take us to the top of Khao Chang Puak and the legendary sharp ridge.

The heart-stopping point, rumored for its thrill, with a precipice on the right and a precipice on the left.

The climb to the sharp ridge is steep and slippery. It's a good thing we're walking empty-handed and don't have to carry our belongings.

Just bring a bottle of water each.

How steep is it? Ask your heart.

This is just the first peak. Once you get past this, you'll encounter the legendary knife-edge.

Looking back, it was a close call.

Gopro camera angle of my friend who went with me.

What's the fuss about? It's hard to book, it's crowded, but why does everyone want to come here?

Besides the legendary sharp ridge, I think the view here is amazing.

Let's go see the beautiful scenery on the top of Doi Chang Phueak.

This view is the landmark of this place. It's absolutely stunning.

From the summit, we enjoyed breathtaking 360-degree views.

In the distance, we could see the Vachiralongkorn Dam.

Around 5:00 PM, the park rangers began asking us to descend as darkness approached, making it unsafe to remain on the peak.

The sunset views during our descent were truly spectacular.

I have completely fallen in love with Khao Chang Puak. It's not just the sharp ridge that everyone wants to conquer.

The views here are among the most beautiful in Thailand.

One last photo before we leave. Hehe.

And then we arrived at the campsite.

We cooked dinner together. Today, Ek was the chef and he made chicken soup and fried rice with Chinese sausage.

We were full and happy. It was time to go to sleep.

We had to bring our own food. We couldn't build a fire, but the porters could. We could ask them for fire.

Morning of the 2nd day, the return trip.

In the morning, we were not allowed to go up to the top anymore.

Because it would be slippery and dangerous. More importantly, it would be too late and sunny. 55+

Morning atmosphere.

I was very lucky to see a sea of fog on the day I visited.

I woke up, brushed my teeth, and went downstairs. I didn't want to go down late because it was hot. 55+

The view on the way down was still beautiful. Hehe.

It only takes 2 hours to get there. We took a shower and did some errands at the porter's point.

We also paid the porter fee. Then we went back.

And then, Khao Chang Puak, the legendary mountain, the most difficult to book in Thailand.

Today, I finally got to experience it.

You might ask why I had to come. Honestly, it's probably because of the knife-edge ridge, the point of courage, that makes this place famous.

It is a coveted destination for mountain and forest enthusiasts who want to test their courage here.

But for me, I think Khao Chang Puak is very beautiful. A million chickens, 55+.

I guarantee that the view here is not inferior to anywhere else in Thailand.

If you have the chance, call and make a reservation. You will fall in love with this place like me.
