This leaves you with 2 full days. You can visit a resort one day and go diving another day. That's already great value for money.

Oh, I forgot one more activity: Night Fishing and Sunset.

This involves fishing at night, eating dinner on the boat with the fish you catch, and watching the sunset over the sea. It costs $25 or 850 baht.

However, I didn't have a good experience.

1. I didn't see the sunset because there were too many clouds.
2. I didn't catch any fish. I thought we'd be using fishing rods, but they used a plastic ring with a hook and fish bait.

A small atoll has mysteriously appeared in the middle of the ocean, boasting stunningly vibrant water hues.

They will take us to eat on the sandbank. It should be fun.

But...

What we hoped for was not as fun as we thought because it was super hot under the sun. 55+

Why didn't you provide an umbrella or let us eat on the boat and then come down to take pictures? You let us eat in the sun like this. Oh my god... Hurry up and eat, hurry up and get into the water. It's hot. 55+

After eating and playing in the water on the beautiful sandbank, they will take us to see dolphins.

Maldives #6

After the diving program, we have another program: Night Fishing and Sunset.

It costs $25, but the tour starts at 5 pm. So we decided to go swimming at Bikini Beach and Arena Beach first.

Let's see the beauty of the two beaches on Maafushi Island.

The first one is Bikini Beach. If you come here in the late morning or early afternoon, the seawater will be very blue.

It's a small beach, but it's still beautiful.

Walk a little further and you will find the second beach.

Arena Beach

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful beach because of the blue water and the white, fine sand that is soft on your feet.

However, there are a lot of rocks when you first walk down to the beach, so you have to walk a little further to find the sand.

This beach is perfect for swimming, as there is more sand than at Bikini Beach.

Bikini Beach has a lot of rocks, making it a bit difficult to walk on.

After swimming for a while, it was time to watch the sunset and go fishing.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures because it was too dark. However, the activity was as follows:

They took us to watch the sunset on a boat and then gave us fishing equipment.

The equipment consisted of plastic rings with fishing line and hooks attached.

They then cut up fish into pieces to use as bait.

We dropped the bait into the water and then it was up to luck. It was very difficult!

We stayed on the boat in the dark, but there were lights so we didn't have to worry.

After a while, we returned to the hotel because we were hungry. The fish we caught was cooked for us.

We waited at the Arena Beach Hotel until the fish was fried and baked, and then they called us to eat.

They also served fried rice and salad with the fish.

It was like buying a dinner program.

With that, the activities were complete. The next day it was time to return home.

We went back to rest for the night because we had to wake up early the next morning. The boat left at 7:30 am.

This trip was filled with so much happiness.

I never thought the Maldives would be this amazing.

There's no need to mention staying in a water villa that costs tens of thousands of baht.

I can tell you that just by coming here, you can experience the Maldives to the fullest.

Everyone's life is different, and our financial situations are different. Should we wait to save 40,000-50,000 baht before going? When will we be able to go?

Here is a summary of the expenses (1$ = 34 baht):

1. Flight and accommodation for 4 days and 3 nights: approximately 13,000 baht

2. Airport boat - Male round trip: 2$ per person = 68 baht

3. Taxi Male - Maafushi Ferry: 3$ (102/2 per person) = 50 baht

4. Maafushi Ferry round trip: (68 x 2) per person = 136 baht

5. Visit Resort Addaran: 105$ per person = 3,750 baht

6. Diving + Night Fishing and Sunset: 50$ per person = 1,700 baht

Recommendations:

1. It is recommended to go during the low season because the Maldives does not have a monsoon season. Rain only falls for a short time, and the price of tickets and accommodation will be much cheaper.

2. It is not recommended to go during long weekends in Thailand because the price of tickets will be expensive.

3. It is recommended to go on Saturday and Sunday and take an additional 2 days off work. You will definitely get tickets for 7,000-9,000 baht, not exceeding this amount.

4. The duration of the trip should be at least 4 days and 3 nights because 3 days and 2 nights is not enough and will be tiring.

5. The tours you should choose are: 1. Visit Resort and 2. Diving.

Here, the water villa costs around 12,000 baht per night.

The speedboat transfer to and from the airport costs around 3,500 baht.

This comes out to 9,500 baht per person, but you have to stay on the mainland for 2 nights.

The cost per night is 4,600 baht, so for 2 people it would be 4,600 baht per person.

The total cost will be around this much. If you can get a flight for around 8,500 baht, it will be:

8,500 + 4,600 + 9,500 = 22,600 baht only.

Including food and diving, it should not exceed 25,000 baht. You can try it out.
