📍 Winter has arrived, and 2ขาพาตะลุย couldn't resist the allure of cool northern air. We embarked on a journey to witness the breathtaking sea of mist at Phu Chi Fa, Chiang Rai. This is a must-visit destination that will leave you awestruck.

Transportation

🚗 Private Vehicle:

  • Take the Chiang Rai-Thoeng route (64 km) and then the Thoeng-Ban Yi route (6 km).
  • Turn left onto Highway 1155 and pass Ban Pang Ka and Ban Cheng Meng.
  • Continue on the paved road for 42 km to reach Phu Chi Fa.

🚗 Alternative Route:

  • Take Highway 1021 from Thoeng to Chiang Kham and Ban Huak.
  • 6 km before reaching Chiang Kham, turn towards Namtok Phu Sang National Park (19 km).
  • Continue for another 30 km to reach Phu Chi Fa.

🚌 Public Transportation:

  • Minibus: From the Old Bus Station in Chiang Rai, take the Thoeng-Phu Chi Fa minibus. You can get off at Namtok Phu Sang or Phu Chi Fa.
  • Van: Vans depart from the Chiang Rai Bus Station at 07:00 and 13:00 during the winter season only.
