**Part 10: Memory Hall in Taipei, Taiwan - A Day Trip to a Place of Remembrance**

After exiting the MRT Airport Rail Link at Taipei Main Station, follow the signs to the MRT Subway to continue your journey to Ximending Station. Be warned, Taipei Main Station is notoriously confusing. No matter what you're looking for, you're likely to get lost. Even Google Maps won't save you from the initial disorientation. Expect to feel overwhelmed and frustrated. This station is a tourist hub, with 60-70% of the crowd consisting of travelers dragging their luggage. However, just when you're about to give up hope of finding your desired destination, it will magically appear before you.

I took the subway from Taipei Main Station to Ximending Station, just one stop away. Exiting through Exit 6, I was greeted with this view.

According to Google Maps, Airline Inn is located in the vicinity of the building shown in the picture. However, first-time visitors may find it difficult to locate. The inn is actually situated in the center of the building complex, and it may be easily overlooked if one does not pay attention to the signage. There are multiple entry points to the complex's core. For first-time visitors, the easiest route is recommended. I booked Airline Inn through Agoda for a 4-day, 3-night stay at a cost of 7281 baht, which translates to approximately 2500 baht per night.

The building's condition is similar to a Hong Kong hostel, with narrow corridors and hidden nooks.

The Airline Inn is located on the 7th and 8th floors. Please proceed to the 8th floor for check-in. The elevator is a shared elevator. Please note that the 9th floor is occupied by another hotel.

Upon exiting the elevator, guests are greeted by the Front Office. The staff is proficient in English, ensuring a seamless experience for international visitors.

The interior of the Airline Inn is designed to feel like you're actually walking on an airplane. The picture below shows the shared bathroom, which is surprisingly well-designed.

The bedroom was quite spacious, being a corner room. Upon checking the hotel's floor plan, I discovered that this room was the largest. (Before my trip, I emailed the hotel to confirm that Agoda had indeed booked a room for me.) This could be the reason why I received a spacious room before anyone else.

In addition to being spacious, the room also appears clean and pleasing to the eye. It even has a passenger seat... but to be honest, I don't really use it for sitting. I mostly use it to hang my clothes. When I want to sit, I prefer to sit on the bed, which is more comfortable. Hehe.

The room is equipped with a hot water kettle, two bottles of mineral water, a safe, a wardrobe, a refrigerator, and a hairdryer.

There isn't much to watch on TV. I didn't turn it on much. Oh, another thing I need to comment on is that the Wi-Fi isn't very good. But I brought my own wireless router, so I didn't need to use the hotel's Wi-Fi.

The design of the washbasin, with its shell-like pattern, is aesthetically pleasing.

The bathroom is spacious and the water pressure is strong, almost like it could pierce through you. 555 (laughter)

This review is divided into 8-9 parts, each focusing on a different tourist attraction. Please stay tuned for the next part. I will try my best to find time to review as soon as possible.
