Hotel Baraquda Pattaya, MGallery by Sofitel: A Hip Hotel in South Pattaya

Hello, today I will introduce a small hotel in South Pattaya, which is only a 5-minute walk to the beach.

This hotel is managed by the Accor group.

The hotel is located on Pattaya Sai 2 Road, South Pattaya, near the Royal Garden Plaza. The hotel is designed in white and blue tones, giving the impression of being at sea.

Upon check-in, the staff welcomed me with a selection of drinks from a list. However, there was a slight delay due to the room not being ready. I had booked the entry-level room and opted for a package that included a shuttle to the Khan Show and tickets to the show itself.

The lobby has computers available for use, but I didn't ask the staff if they were free. Haha!

I ordered the signature barracuda, which had a sweet and sour flavor and was very refreshing.

While waiting, I felt hungry, so I told the staff that I would go to the restaurant to eat and wait for the room. When the room was ready, please call me. Then I walked along the path.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I contemplated the menu, ultimately deciding on mini burgers and pizza for a light snack.

The mini beef burger tasted good. The meat was juicy, but the sauce was not very flavorful, so I had to add ketchup.

The pizza's flavor is up to standard, better than Pizza Hut and company in my opinion.

After waiting until 4:00 PM, the staff informed us that the room was ready. We were assigned room 4020. As we approached the room, we looked down from the hallway.

Upon entering the room, you are immediately greeted by a living room. 555+ I must say that when I booked, it was for a standard room, which does not have a living room. It seems the staff saw that I had to wait a long time for my room, so they upgraded me to a suite.

The bedroom and bathroom are spacious and open, perfect for couples as a suite. If you come with friends, you'll be embarrassed to death. 555+ The suite also has a jacuzzi. But I think it would be freezing to soak in the jacuzzi in a room with the air conditioning on.

The living room features a coffee machine and a refrigerator located below it. The coffee provided in the machine is complimentary.

The package includes a happy hour period where you can enjoy complimentary cocktails at the rooftop bar, as per the designated time frame.

Therefore, I had to go up and have a drink. The view from the rooftop bar is amazing.

Light refreshments are available while you wait, including peanuts and crackers, which can be refilled as needed.

The hotel's breakfast buffet offered a decent variety of options, though the selection was not extensive due to the hotel's smaller size.

The breakfast was decent, with several delicious options, especially the Egg Benedict.

The soup was delicious. 555+ I can't remember what kind of soup it was, but it was definitely delicious.

This small hotel offers all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.

Advantages

1. The soul-sucking bed is very good. The bed is really good.

2. The bathroom has a bidet. This is important.

3. Convenient location for traveling to various destinations, including beaches and shopping malls.

4. Close to food sources.

Disadvantages

1. Despite being close to the beer bar, noise from the bar occasionally enters through the window at night, disturbing sleep, especially when loud music is playing.

2. The bathroom's proximity to the bedroom creates a sense of claustrophobia and is not suitable for family vacations. It is more appropriate for couples.

3. The price of the room without the package is quite high, starting at around 3,000 baht. However, if you include the package with the show, it seems worthwhile.

However, if you're looking for a late-night party scene, this hotel might be a good fit for you. 555+
