Behold Angkor Wat!

If you're looking for a World Heritage city, there's one nearby that's worth checking out: Siem Reap.

I had the opportunity to visit Cambodia, and wow, the city is amazing. The people there seem to have a very relaxed lifestyle, and the food is not too different from what we have at home. The cost of living is also not high, and I especially enjoyed Angkor Beer.

When you come to Siem Reap, you can't miss visiting Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom. Seeing them in person is truly awe-inspiring; they are as magnificent as their reputation suggests. In addition to Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, we also made a quick trip to Ta Prohm.

Murals of Angkor Wat

The vastness of Angkor Wat necessitates a considerable amount of time for exploration.

Cambodia is a safe and welcoming destination for tourists. The people are friendly and there are many things to see and do. You can relax and enjoy your trip without any worries.

Angkor Wat is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world.

At every corner, there will be children selling things. Don't even pretend to be interested, or they will immediately close the sale! Be strong!

Ta Prohm Temple

"Ta Prohm Temple", in the past, could be described as a magnificent temple hidden in the jungle. Venturing inside, it appears mysterious and intricate, with a high chance of getting lost if you and your companions separate. The temple is quite extensive. Ta Prohm is very famous and was used as a filming location for the movie Tomb Raider. Have you seen it?

This area exhibits extensive rockfall debris, with numerous instances of collapsed boulders scattered throughout.

The most striking feature of this location is the massive tree roots that intertwine and penetrate the castle walls, creating an atmosphere of awe and mystery.

Angkor Thom

" Angkor Thom " is another place where the architecture is very intricate. On the top, it looks like a smiling Buddha with four faces.

Cambodia boasts more than just World Heritage sites. It also offers a plethora of other tourist attractions, such as Psar Chas, a bustling market overflowing with souvenirs. At night, the area transforms into Pub Street, reminiscent of Bangkok's Khao San Road, but with an undeniably chic ambiance.

Siem Reap is a haven for history buffs and World Heritage enthusiasts. Its captivating ancient sites will leave you spellbound.

The city may be a bit dusty, so those with allergies may want to bring protective gear. However, the country as a whole is very good. If anyone thinks this place is scary, I can assure you it is not. The people here are very friendly and welcoming. Cambodia is easily accessible by both plane and bus. I encourage you to come and visit. See Angkor Wat and Die.
