Rayong, hooray! Hooray!

Hello everyone! Today we're in Rayong. Hi, hippity-hop! We traveled here by car. As for our accommodation, let me tell you, the view is a million bucks, and there's a swimming pool.

Royel phala Cliff Beach (หาดพลา) is a laid-back beachfront hotel with stunning views located in Pla Beach, Rayong. The journey to this destination is effortless, taking only 3 hours from Bangkok or 1 hour from Pattaya. Additionally, it is conveniently situated just 30 minutes away from U-Tapao Airport. Travelers catching a flight at this airport can make a pit stop here to unwind before their journey.

The vastness of the place is such that even a leisurely stroll throughout the day would not suffice to explore it fully.

Additionally, the resort features a spa for relaxation and meeting rooms for events. This resort offers a comprehensive experience, eliminating the need to look elsewhere.

And for the food, this is our breakfast. We ate a lot, it was delicious and filling, so much so that our bellies were stretched to the limit. 555

The first dish is deep-fried mussels stir-fried with dry green curry. The large mussels are deep-fried until crispy and then drizzled with a rich green curry sauce. Oh, so delicious...

The next menu item is crispy fried fish with sauce. Experience the crispy texture of fried fish, stir-fried with a special sauce recipe. Sour, salty, sweet, these 3 flavors are the best.

The final menu item is the cheese-tastic fried chicken. Just the sight of the cheese is enough to make your mouth water! The seasoned chicken breast is stuffed with ham and stretchy cheese, making it an absolute delight.

Having explored the accommodation, room ambiance, and dining options, let's move on to exploring the tourist attractions.

This accommodation boasts a private beach, perfect for those seeking relaxation without venturing far. For those who prefer a bit more activity, there are several interesting tourist attractions nearby, including Mae Ramphueng Beach and Ao Khao. Ao Khao is also a popular spot for surfing. However, the primary purpose of our visit was to unwind, and we plan to return for some surfing on a future occasion.

This is Raiyong Restaurant, located on Jinda Road. It takes only ten minutes to get here from our accommodation. Let's take a look at the restaurant's signature dishes.

The roti cheese is a pizza-flavored dish that is a popular menu item at the restaurant. It is recommended to order this dish if you are visiting the restaurant. The cheese is very heavy.

Moving on to dessert, the durian bingsu, with its generous chunks of durian, is so delicious that it's hard to stop eating.

After a relaxing stroll through the city and a satisfying meal, we continued our journey. A short 30-minute drive brought us to Khao Laem Ya, where we enjoyed a leisurely walk, embraced the refreshing sea breeze, and witnessed a breathtaking sunset.

In conclusion, Rayong is not just a stopover on the way to Koh Samet or other destinations. If you have a night or two, come and relax here. You won't regret it!
