This is a follow-up post to the story about studying and the host family.

One week before returning, we wanted to go on a trip outside the city, so we tried to find a student tour because the price would be much cheaper than the general tour, which is the price for foreign tourists. We saw a brochure posted at the school tour named Mana Tour, so we called to find their company address. When we arrived, we contacted them and they handed us the tour program that we were interested in as follows:

My friend and I are okay with it. We have already paid.

Please provide the text you want me to translate.

The day of our trip, our host drove us to the art gallery, where we boarded the bus.

The tour bus was a small minibus with a French-speaking guide. There were about 15 children, all of whom were foreign students who were studying at language schools such as EF and Edenz.

We departed at three in the afternoon and arrived in Rotorua around eleven o'clock at night.

While Oakland is considered quiet, Rotorua is incredibly peaceful. However, we believe this tranquility is part of its charm.

We then proceeded to our accommodations, which consisted of rooms that could house two to four people each.

We slept with friends from Thailand, Japan, and Brazil.

The dorm room is a bit small, with bunk beds. It's clean and the price is reasonable. The shared bathroom is separated by gender.

The upper floor of the accommodation offers a space for conversation and cooking. Breakfast is complimentary and prepared by the guide.

The first day, we went to Wai-O-Tapu, which has an entrance fee of around $40. The views along the way were amazing, with horses, sheep, goats, and cows grazing freely.

We have arrived! Take a look at the atmosphere.

Truly beautiful. A clean and well-maintained mud pool and hot spring.

There is also a fountain show.

They then took me to a lake, but I can't remember the name. 😂

Rotorua's renowned souvenirs include nourishing creams, soaps, lip balms, and natural clay products.

No worries, you can find it in the city center.

Day Two

My friends and I went parasailing at Lake Rotorua.

Before returning to our accommodation, our kind guide took us to a local garden, the name of which I cannot recall. We took a picture of the crystal-clear and pristine pond.

The fourth day was the day to return to Auckland. However, before returning, we stopped by the government gardens.

At Waitomo, photography is prohibited inside the cave where the glowworms reside. During the boat ride, a guide will provide commentary while you observe the glowworms. The glowworms resemble luminous dots, similar to fireflies found in our country. They are not readily visible as individual worms.

After that, I traveled back to Auckland. After finishing this trip, I felt it was very worthwhile to experience the peaceful atmosphere outside the city. I also made new friends from different countries.

Note: The guide also took us to some additional places, but I may not have included them in this write-up as I don't remember the details very well. 55555
