One Night Stay with Locals: Bo Hin Farmstay in Trang

"This is Trang," a place not only known for its delicious food but also for its charming small communities nestled amidst stunning natural landscapes. Bo Hin Farmstay is one such hidden gem, offering a unique opportunity to experience authentic local life.

This video showcases the beauty of Bo Hin Farmstay, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the community's warm hospitality and breathtaking surroundings.

►Our journey began with a flight from Bangkok to Krabi. You might wonder why we landed in Krabi when our destination was Trang. Well, we found cheaper flights to Krabi, so we decided to make a stopover there before continuing to Trang. (Note: You can actually fly directly to either Trang or Krabi.)

From Krabi, we took a 2-hour van ride to Trang, arriving at the Trang Transportation Center. From there, you can either head into the city center or take another van to Sikao. Once you reach Sikao, simply call the community, and they will send a car to pick you up and take you directly to the community. It's incredibly convenient!

Upon arrival at the community, check into your room to store your belongings, and then head out ready to explore!

The community offers guided boat tours, providing a serene and lush experience. While occasional light rain may occur during this time, the late rainy season is highly recommended for optimal enjoyment.

Our first stop is the salty hot spring, which is not far from the community. It only takes a short boat ride to get there.

Salty Hot Spring by the Mud Beach

This small salty hot spring reaches a temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. It is located right next to a mud pool, where the mud can be used as a body scrub. Soaking your feet in the hot spring is a relaxing experience, especially after applying the mud.

The Mangrove Forest in Khlong Sikao

This hidden gem of a mangrove forest is a perfect spot for nature lovers seeking tranquility. Escape the crowds and immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of this unique ecosystem.

The forest offers a peaceful retreat for relaxation and contemplation. Capture stunning photos amidst the picturesque scenery, creating lasting memories of your visit.

► Rajamangala Srivijaya Beach
This beach is where the guide brought us to take pictures. It is a mountain range. The mountain you see in the distance is Khao Lang Pak Meng. You can actually walk there, but it is quite far. And you can also play in the water here.

We stumbled upon a new photo spot that's incredibly stylish. The photos make the world look vibrant and cheerful, which we adore. However, we're unsure what the plant is. It resembles a vine that gradually turns green as it matures. Currently, it's orange. If anyone recognizes this plant, please let us know. Even our tour guide was unfamiliar with it.

►Sunset at Haad Khep Ta Wan
Before heading back, we stopped by Haad Khep Ta Wan to watch the sunset. The weather was perfect, with a cool breeze. Relaxing in this atmosphere was incredibly peaceful.

It's time to go home. Let's go back to our accommodation to shower and eat.

► Dinner
Tonight's dinner is fresh seafood from the cages in front of the house. Here, the focus is on fresh fish, fresh crabs, and spicy dipping sauce.
It will be a bit full on the table, but it's so good, I'm telling you. If I don't gain weight, let me know.

Seagrass Planting

This initiative focuses on planting seagrass to serve as a food source for dugongs. The planting location is Ao Boon Khong Bay.

Unfortunately, due to strong winds and high waves caused by a storm, we were unable to participate in the seagrass planting activity this time.

If you are interested in participating, please come during a period of calm seas and winds.

►Batik Making
Another activity offered here is batik making. If you come according to the program, you will also get to make batik. And if you finish making it, you can take it home with you!

●Travel Methods
We can travel in many ways, including airplanes, tour buses, or private cars.
However, today we are going by plane because of the limited time. Airplanes are much faster. If you check the tickets frequently, you will get a promotional price, which will be cheaper. If anyone is convenient in any way, choose that way.^^

- Round-trip flights: approximately 1,500-2,000 baht per person
- Bus: approximately 1,200 baht per person
- Van from Krabi to Trang: 100 baht per person
