Trip to Trang: A First-Time Review
This review chronicles my first attempt at writing a travelogue, which may come across as slightly confusing. For this trip, I opted to travel by bus from Hat Yai to Phuket, disembarking in Trang. The mode of transportation was entirely up to personal preference. The primary purpose of this trip was relaxation and completing an assignment for a professor.
The trip had a total of 6 participants. The bus fare was 150 baht per person. We arrived at Hat Yai Bus Terminal around 7:00 AM. The bus departed at approximately 8:00 AM (buses depart every hour). While waiting, we grabbed some food. There were plenty of food options available (whether they were delicious or not depends on individual preferences, so NO comment).
They all look so cool!
Approximately 10:00 AM, we arrived! It was really hot. After getting off the bus, we waited for our friend's father to pick us up. Our friend's house, or the place where we were going to work on our assignment, was quite far away. However, our friend assured us that the trip would be worth it. Whether or not that's true, we'll have to see for ourselves.
Creating a Landmark: Exploring the Land of Crabs
This text describes the creation of a landmark in the area of Khao Mai Kaeo, Thailand. The author highlights the abundance of tourist attractions in the region, as shown on the provided map. However, due to limited public transportation access, the area remains relatively unexplored and unknown. Despite this, the author emphasizes the pristine natural environment and fresh air, making it an ideal location for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Savoring the Delights of Crab Country
This phrase evokes a sense of enjoyment and indulgence in the midst of a land renowned for its abundance of crabs. The use of the word "ฟิน" (fin), a slang term for extreme pleasure, emphasizes the delightful experience. The reference to "ดินแดนปูม้า" (crab country) highlights the region's association with these crustaceans, suggesting a place where crab-related activities and delicacies are readily available.
This is a beach known as the land of horseshoe crabs. We are not sure of the history of this place, but we vaguely remember that there is a horse-shaped rock in the sea near the beach (see the next picture, but it is very far away).
Fresh Air and Flatulence at Si Kaeo
Escaping the fumes of Bangkok, we arrived at the entrance to Si Kaeo, where we couldn't resist stopping for a photo. The fresh air was a welcome change, effectively masking the lingering scent of our friend's flatulence. This marked the perfect start to our relaxing getaway.

The Marvel of the Freshwater Well at the Beach
The journey by car reached its end at the very edge of the sea. Finally, we arrived at "Bo Thwet," a miraculous freshwater well on the beach. This sacred well is used by locals for drinking and other purposes. The remarkable aspect of this well is that it is located on the beach, yet the water in the well is completely fresh and clear, and it flows continuously even during the dry season.
Crystal clear and cool water flows endlessly.
Most villagers here come to collect water from the ancient well to use and drink at their homes.
The water in the freshwater well is remarkably pure, despite being surrounded by a saltwater beach. Even during high tide, when seawater nearly reaches the well's mouth, the water inside remains completely fresh.
After traveling for many hours, we arrived and immediately drank water and prayed at the well of our ancestors.
The surroundings of the ancient pond (we visited during the low water season) were very beautiful.
Witnessing the Sunset at Laem Bo Taew
This sentence describes the act of watching the sunset at Laem Bo Taew, a location in Thailand.
Turning to the other side, it can be said that it is a paradise for those who love to watch the sunset. It is a long stretch of beach with a view of small islands and, most importantly, it is very peaceful. It is a truly fulfilling vacation. During the day, the water is full, so you can play in the water and wash yourself with fresh water at the Bo Twat well. It saves water at home, and the water in the well is free and unlimited. It's really great. If you come in the evening when the water recedes, you will see a wide expanse of rocks, perfect for sitting and watching the sun set between the mountains in the middle of the sea. The atmosphere is indescribable. All I can say is that it's amazing.
Before the sun sets below the horizon, let's take a picture as a souvenir. Just this alone makes the trip feel incredibly worthwhile, exceeding all expectations.
The sun is setting on the horizon.
It's so beautiful to sit here on the rocks and watch the sun slowly disappear (with some chill music playing in the background, it's perfect).

#Goodmorning Red Beach
Good morning, new day
No text provided for translation.
After watching the sunset, it wouldn't feel right not to wake up and see the sunrise. This morning, we traveled to Red Beach, which is located behind the Jane Sea House. I forgot to mention that the Jane Sea House is right on the beach, so when the tide is high, you can jump straight into the sea.
We embarked on a journey by boarding a boat docked behind our house, setting sail for Haad Daeng. The voyage was truly remarkable, offering us an intimate glimpse into the lives of local fishermen as their small and large vessels glided past, engaged in their daily pursuit of crabs and fish. Within a brief span of 5-7 minutes, we arrived at the shores of Haad Daeng.
Whether it's sunrise or sunset, our friend is always the heroine of the music video (I wonder what song they're filming).
Let's sunbathe for a bit.
#Dragon's Spine
Red Beach is a very long beach located in the middle of the sea, resembling a dragon's spine or a parted sea. What's even more amazing is that we arrived just as the sun was rising. The view from there offered a 360-degree panorama of the sea. It was the most incredible view I've ever seen in my life (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit).
There are also small shellfish that you can collect to cook with.
Fresh face, no need for loans, OMG!!
Is this a love triangle song? (Let's use cookies to predict 5555)

The sea is even more beautiful with you, beyond words can describe.
Learn about sustainable fishing practices.
As the water level rose, the beach began to disappear, forcing us to quickly board the boat and head to the next station.
This involved hauling crab nets and lifting fish traps, as the boat we arrived on at dawn was a fishing vessel. We did everything ourselves, from hauling the heavy, long crab nets to catching individual crabs, which built our muscles considerably.
I'm so excited! I was worried that I might be wasting your time, but everyone here is so friendly and helpful. They're always willing to teach me and support me. I'm so grateful! (I promise to do my best.)
And finally, the moment we've been waiting for has arrived! Hooray! I must admit that we were exhausted and discouraged from casting the net, haha. But when we pulled it up and saw the crab, all our fatigue vanished. It was the first time we had ever seen a live horseshoe crab pulled from the sea. In addition, Bang Chen (Jane Samut's older brother) took us to haul in a fish trap full of baby fish. The fish were so big! I still wonder why the locals call fish this size "baby fish," haha.
It's lunchtime, and the meal we prepared this morning is simply delicious. Fresh seafood, including crab, fish, and shellfish, was the star of the show. We devoured everything, leaving no trace behind. 55555555

Finally, but not least, if you come here, you should not miss taking pictures with the landmark of this place, which is the Ban Laem Thaen Pier.
This is where you will find the blue crab, a welcoming sight for all who arrive at the Ban Laem Sai Pier.
A selfie with a crab, but where's our horseshoe crab? 55555
The surrounding area of the accommodation is our friend's house.
Finally, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the family of Jane Samut for their exceptional hospitality. They ensured that we were well-fed, well-rested, and thoroughly enamored with their community. To those who have read this review to its conclusion, we urge you to make the journey to this remarkable place. We eagerly anticipate our return to the welcoming embrace of the Ban Laem Sai community.
Finally, we have some adorable clips for you to enjoy. Check them out now...
Thank you to everyone who has read this.
(I may not be a great reviewer yet, but I will try my best to improve my skills.)
