When it comes to Loei province, many people may think of Chiang Khan.

As my home is in Loei province, I am quite familiar with Chiang Khan.

I have visited it in every season, and each season offers a different experience.

If you go in the winter, you will see fog and experience the cold weather.

If you go in the summer, you will see rocks emerging from the Mekong River.

And if you go in the rainy season, you will see a lot of greenery.

Lately, I have been busy with teaching practice and haven't had much free time. When I finally had some time, I decided to take a drive to relieve some stress.

This time, I'm not alone. Someone asked to come along. Haha!

The first stop I want to suggest is a PTT gas station. It's one of the most beautiful gas stations I've ever been to.

The view behind the gas station is beautiful. I bought a coffee to sit and relax, but I didn't buy it because I was going to sit at a shop on the walking street. Haha.

-----------------------

I arrived around 3 pm and I had already planned to sit at a coffee shop before going for a walk.

The chosen shop is With A View, located around Soi 15. This establishment offers more than just coffee; it also serves as an accommodation.

Sitting with legs dangling, enjoying the view of the Mekong River.

This coffee shop might be the only one on the walking street with a view of the Mekong River from the outdoor seating area. If anyone knows of other shops, please feel free to share them in the comments.

After sitting in the shop for a while, we went out for a walk and took some photos.

During the rainy season, the Mekong River tends to swell. The opposite bank you see is the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Today, I would like to present Chiang Khan Walking Street, a part that many people have never seen before.

That is, before the shops were set up, because I arrived early. Haha!

Note: The original text is empty, so the translation is also empty.

It's very quiet because no one has arrived yet. You can take pictures anywhere you want without having to wait in line.

A favorite spot for many people

A new study has found that the average person spends 11 hours per day looking at screens. This includes time spent on smartphones, computers, and televisions. The study also found that people who spend more time looking at screens are more likely to experience problems with their sleep, weight, and mental health.

Wat Si Khun Muang: A Historic Temple in Chiang Khan

Wat Si Khun Muang, an ancient temple in Chiang Khan, was built in 1942.

As evening approaches, vendors begin to open their shops, although some have been open since morning.

Another must-visit spot, but I won't tell you which alley it's in. Have fun finding it!
