The Royal Project at Khun Pae
The Royal Project at Khun Pae is located in Chom Thong District, Chiang Mai Province, approximately 100 kilometers from the city center. While the journey may be long, the destination is undeniably breathtaking. The route offers stunning views of cascading rice terraces, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
Transportation:
The road from Khun Pae to the hydrangea viewpoint is rough and uneven, with potholes, ruts, and puddles. It is not suitable for cars, but motorcycles are a good option.
Important Information:
- Blooming season: Starts in October and reaches full bloom in November.
- Road conditions: The road is currently under construction, making it muddy and uneven. It is recommended to use a pickup truck for access.
- Distance and difficulty: The distance from the entrance to the Royal Project is approximately 22 kilometers. The road is quite steep, making it unsuitable for small vehicles.
